  1. unless he gets an ACU licence he WONT be in team GB
  2. so even if it was the 23rd how would reducing the averages help ? I can only think you may be thinking of team changes if so what change or changes would you make who is available any way ?
  3. Well I don't get all the negativity on here I thought it was a good meeting a lot better than the score line surgest- was a good team performance I thought - this team looks like getting stronger as season progresses . Big well done the Stars
  4. Think you will find Rory's average is too high from what I remember it's 6 or below to double down
  5. how about using existing speedway stadiums on proper tracks it ain't difficult fans want racing excitement not plush stadiums that see poor racing or in this case 12heats - it will happen again a GP being called off when on a temporary track the one that already worries me knowing what the weather can be like in Denmark is Horsens temp track and this time no roof on the stadium so if it's a wet week while laying the track this meeting will be in trouble I say now move this meeting to Vojens and avoid all the bad press .
  6. First I want to say I feel for anyone who attended this GP anyone who spent there hard earned cash on a farce such as this was very short change those can only hope some sort of compensation will be sorted by IMG/BSI not sure what the small print is on a meeting being called off in such away . Secondly Ole Olsen has had enough chances on getting these one off tracks right and failed time and time again time for him to go I think also with so many of the GP on one off tracks time to revert back to alternative stadiums ie Horsen get that back to Vojens . And I'm sorry but I think Phil Morris needs to go as well. Time to quit glamour city's and get back to proper race tracks after all for most of us it's the racing we go for and sadly there wasn't any of that last night - can't see things getting much better for the next GP another poor track with follow the leader racing . Let's not forget the scale of last nights farce the biggest crowd at a speedway meeting I'd guess since Wembly 1981 world wide TV coverage as well how many of us will go to work in the Monday morning and try to explain this one to none speedway fans ? Olsen and Morris must go ASAP
  7. Can't be bothered to try find a stream - why oh why can't the Polish League be shown on TV in the UK 999 channels on my digi box most showing complete rubbish yet none show the weekly live speedway from Poland - if EL Tel still owns the UK TV rights surly it's time to cash in or can we hope someone else gains the UK TV rights ASAP
  8. have to agree with all you say - but how about at EL level paying say £19-50 per meeting for a world class EL on the lines of team strengths of Sweden and Poland ? Now that would be something special .
  9. that would be absolute madness if and its a very big If Kenneth was to leave we need someone far better than Mads . Kenneth will turn things around he's far better than what we've seen so far other than Rory's meeting were I thought he looked class act . Two league meetings in don't panic
  10. Kenneth has lost his Readypower sponsorship not sure if that has anything to do with his form that said in Rory's testimonial I thought he looked very fast and smooth and he did win the meeting but since then he's struggled but it is very early days and come October should we make the play off final no one will remember today's meeting - that said it was a poor performance from Kenny .
  11. I'm a die hard and I've always attended Sky meetings at KL but other clubs offer discounts on admission Lynn offer nothing so why should I spend £50+on going when I can watch live on Sky ? I'd hope the lynn promotion would offer something but as I see it it's normal admission prices .
  12. For the first time we are considering not going Tuesday night and watching on Sky Sports instead the reasons why I,m thinking of this are £17❌2 plus prog plus fuel add a bite to eat as well that's well over £50 to go stand in cold - or we watch on TV and save that money and watch in the warm . discounted admission is a must if they want a good crowd I'd go £14 and I doubt Buster would be any worse off but I'm sure it will still be £17 as I've posted we are considering not going Tuesday .
  13. Poor meeting in my option 4heats in an hour is no good on a freezing cold night and on top of that why have an interval ? And tractor racing ?
  14. Very entertaining meeting I thought very impressed with Braby Kurtz thought he was awesome - as for Panthers Allen was poor and couldn't sit still at the starts and Simon Lambert was poor also - as for the track I thought the track staff are clueless all the dirt near the fence and made no attement to bring it in towards the none existent White line . Good meeting very impressed with Somerset
  15. From what I hear the state of the West Row track after recent Stock car meeting there is a lot of work to do to to get the track anywhere near in a fit state for speedway .
  16. what clearly would have been dreadful would have been if he'd not been randomly picked for a breath test and he'd rode in the GP which without doubt he would have done - imagine if someone had been hurt in a crash Ward was involved in had he rode ?? I,m sorry but people are forgetting what could have happened had he rode . Paying an air fare and being kept in the dark as to his outcome is a small price to pay .
  17. Bored stiff by all this -over the leagle alcohol limit for racing speedway = a ban - end of
  18. The one thing everyone should remember FIM and speedway fans -Darcy was chosen in a RANDOM alcohol test had he not been chosen for this random test he would with out doubt rode in the Latvian Gp putting himself and the other 15 riders at risk including his big buddy Holder .i think its the other 15 riders who took part in that Gp who should decide Darcy fate . Also I wonder how long the FIM would have taken to reach a verdict had Nicki Pedersen been tested over the limit ?
  19. No sympathy at all from me if you can't do the time don't do the crime , also only in speedway would Middledich still be in a job with the comments he keeps coming out with . Rather than running the FIM down why not say what a position Ward has put Poole Speedway in 6 weeks to the start of the season and because Wards actions we can't /wont name our team - that's what Middleditch should be saying .
  20. according to you Swales is the best thing since sliced bread
  21. the thing that gets me is the begging bowl was out just to keep the Panthers alive and Frost didn't even make the money up when the club went to the November conference and the Panther couldn't even state there intent to run this may make good sense for Readypower and Poole speedway to link up with what will be almost weekly TV coverage of the Pirates but that's not all together the point . As I say if I'd donated to Swales and Rathbone I'd feel total betralal by the clubs owners .
  22. from what I've seen some of the websites are either closed down or under Police investergation so it may not be so easy to watch this coming season
  23. if giving money to another club whilst Panther fans have donated hard earned cash to keep Panthers alive sits well with fans who have donated so bet it all I,m saying if I'd donated I'd be fuming .
