he might have no choice if he wants the rider - there must be money saved on Iversen maybe even sponsorship as well . If we go into the season with a weak side it could cost the club far more .
-
and an alternative is ? We are desperate we need a number 1 and riders no it .
-
in past seasons I'd have said that rules Buster out but on this occasion we are desperate for a number 1 and with the money saved on paying Iversen it's time to splash the cash . Larsen would be an excellent signing without doubt .
-
as long as it isn't Ben Barker or Simon Stead I will be happy both riders could have a part to play in any EL team but neither are no1 s and that's what we need
-
then I'd love to no the real reason for the switch of race night . I guess us fans have to be careful what we wish for not many Lynn fans wanted Nicklas or Kenneth to return this coming season but now I think many would take one or both back if the very strong rumours of Barker is correct. If Nick can be included in the Lynn squad I'd go with that can only be good for rider and club , I attend several meetings at Pboro and I'm looking forward to seeing him race from the Panthers nothing would please me more than him to be top rider in the PL .
-
Kenni Larsen would be an excellent no1 Jepsen Jensen would do a good job as well I'd guess neither wants to ride in England or not for Kings Lynn either is take if they would come over a PL rider .
-
that's a very poor team -for me Rory is a concern who knows what he will come back like after serious injury and the thing is in a team with no number 1 the pressure is on Rory from race 1 - that 6.24 average could take some reaching - and also a wasted 2.76 is a joke . Come the first set of averages I can see that figure being greater .
-
Barker and Stead are PL riders we need a no1 other than the fact we can't get a no1 what's the point in signing either rider ? We must be near on 5 points under the points limit if Barker is the final rider -It seems gone are the days when near on every rider wanted to race for Kings Lynn . At this moment it's very dissapointing.
-
So back to my original point why have we switched race nights if Barker is our new signing why oh why have we changed race night for a Pl rider that's been around the block and to be honest has never made it ? All we've done is lost Lewis Kerr to gain exactly what ? I could have understood the change if we'd signed a rider that race regularly on Wednesday in Denmark but to gain Wilko deffo and Barker I hope not , why have we changed ? Disappointed ain't the word
-
this team is in desperate need of a no1 I agree Barker is a racer but we need a rider to go out and win the big heats Robert Lambert may well do that - to go into the season way under the points limit is a joke as this close season has been for the club . If we go with Barker we will be cannon fodder I'm sorry to say we have no idea how well Rory will do either I've yet to hear he's had a practice session again the pressure will be on Rory . As I say we need a no1 and it just might be time to push the boat out a bit and splash the cash .
-
with that team we must be 5 points under the points limit I'd have thought
-
it's a number 1 that's needed not a PL rider an absolute joke if it's Barker
-
I'd sooner have Kenneth in the side than Barker - poor side if Barker is the last rider poor crowds poor results just hope there is no moaning from the promotion when crowds fall away . Very dissapointing
-
If the club are considering Barker as final rider I never thought I'd say this but get Kenny Bear signed up ASAP
-
All I can say what an absolute cock up this winter has been mistake after mistake made by the promotion.
-
let's hope your right
-
I guess that's a case of stating the obvious.
-
Right with just 5 weeks till the Ben Fund meeting I don't think it's asking too much to ask the Kings Lynn promotion what s going on regarding the clubs number 1 ?
-
Kelvin Tatum at the Adrian Flux Arena next week .
-
don't you think so ?? Lol lol will remind you of this post when your moaning about Kenneth if we was to sign him .In reality I doubt Jason is even in the picture for a return but don't doubt his ability if he was to return to racing he would be good without doubt .
-
Well that would be a rabbit out of the hat signing we have all talked about but in reality will it happen ? I doubt it
-
I would guess Lakeside will be missing AJ more often as well this season as there is a number of Polish fixtures on Fridays this coming season .
-
biggest problem as I see it is racing Saturday nights had the club made the switch to an alternative race night early in the closed season maybe Doyle would still be at the club Saturday night speedway just doesn't work just look at the clubs that switched race nights when the SGP and racing in Poland became the be all and end all .
-
that's the type of rider the club need to sign someone who will put bums on seats and go out and win races , when Emil made his UK debut in the EL I seem to remember one of the biggest league crowds at Lynn . We need a big name for sure
-
Wish someone at the club could explain why the need to change race night because as it stands it's achieved nothing other than lose Kerr - what is the true motives for the switch ? To be ready for a single EL race night in 2017 was the reason given but that's a very poor reason when we could make the switch next winter . So why have we switched ?
