let's hope it's better than two years ago when I left the stadium at 7-45 pm and coaches was leaving as well because there drivers would be out of driving time bearing in mind the meeting started at 2pm - superb track ? It will be a dust bowl if the weather stays as it is - 70 heats will is the track up to it and more importantly is the track staff ?

I'm not 100% certain but I'm sure it used to be the case - think I'm right in saying Cook won't be at Sheffield week Thursday when Panthers are there also - seems madness to me racing the 4s semis Saturday with live World Cup from Denmark on the TV .

Got a feeling riders in national team squads selected for the WC sign up for the week for the World Cup won't be surprised if Cook and Robert Lambert are missing from the 4s Ricky Wells is another it certainly used to be the case but things may have changed .

100% agree with all of the above - questions I have was why was fans allowed in to the stadium when clearly the track was in a bad state the start line was in a hell of a mess once the tractor went round with the blade think we all knew it wasn't going to be on - but why open the gate of the stadium ? Can only guess they need the money - these promotors never look at the bigger picture all that's happened tonight is upset fans will they return ? The Lions have 3 meetings left 2 of which we can't attend the only one we can attend and want to attend is the Stars fixture but will it be on a Saturday ? If not we can't get to that eaither so I guess that's our ticket money down the drain . Speedway in general really has to start thinking hard about the fans because there soon won't be many of us left that's willing to right off there hard earned cash .

They have made the right call though I feel sorry for Mads as the obvious choice to be dropped is the out of touch Huckenbeck not Mads but it's a numbers game and we had to get Rory back into the side - I think we also need use jakobsen at every opportunity rather than Huckenbeck - but was the right thing to do to drop Mads

use Jakobsen and Tom Sokes reserve Rose in the top 5 pointless using Huckenbeck on my option .

either way can't see much point in going with Wilkinson -what about last year Star Ashley Morris? The way I see it we need to use Jakobsen at every opportunity at reserve least that gives us one strong reserve can't see much point in using Huckenbek again to be honest plus he has to be in top 5 With the play offs all but gone let's look towards 2017

So who do we use at reserve now ? Do we bring Wilko back or do we promote one of our own from the Young Stars side ? For me I can't see the point in bringing Wilko back there is no future in long term for a 35 year old .

I just want to hear we are trying to strengthen the team we can still make the play offs with a change or two to the side .

I see Lakeside Jon Cook has said he will do everything possible to get the Hammers play of place back on track after losing at home to Poole can only assume after last nights big defeat in Manchester Buster and Rob are doing the same thing as Jon Cook or am I very wide of the mark ?

that I've no idea about - they could at least say they are considering other options and looking into other possibilities - there is nothing coming from the promotion they've given up but still expect us to turn up and hand over £17 - what incentive is there when the clubs given up ??

its the lack of enthusiasm from the promotion that gets me it seems to me we are just going through the motions to get this season out of the way with 14 meetings still left with a team change or two we can still make the plays offs or at least make it interesting even if we miss out on the plays offs at least it would create more meaning to the final 14 meetings but it seems to me we've accepted our fate and it's gets those 14 meetings out of the way and start again next March that's the message that seems to be coming out of the club . And as of last week when for the first time we stayed home and watched on Sky Sports even now I'm not sure if we will be going tonight or not .
