  1. I just don't think it should be set in stone who we use at 7 let's try other options Connor Mountain would be worth a go from what I've seen this afternoon unless as you say there has been a fall out .
  2. I've said from day one the no7 would be there mainly to make the numbers up I got shot down for saying that -Bailey I'm not criticising him at all he's just not ready simple as that .
  3. well none could have done much worse than the man in charge today - a few simple changes would resulted in Ipswich leaving with 0 points the one that I don't get is Heeps with no dirt deflector where was the team manager were was the clerk of course were was the start marshal were was the ref and were was the machine examiner ? surly if that had been spotted even during the race Heeps would have been excluded . Ipswich today was let of the hook bet they are laughing all the way back to Suffolk - for me as a Kings Lynn fan it was pleasing to see Rory back on it .
  4. From what I've seen this afternoon at Pboro I'd give Connor Mountain a go that's if his average fits of course - Bailey is totally out of his depth he needs to concentrate on riding in his other two leagues . 3 ride 0 points from Josh at Scunthorpe this afternoon
  5. Poor from the Pboro team manager Bjerre 3 on the bounce not switching Bacon and Wilson Dean in heat 7/8 but worst of all not spotting Heeps with no dirt deflector in heat 3 very poor - Lambert looks like a novice doesn't look comfortable on the bike at all .
  6. If the Rye track is prepared the way the Rockets riders and promotion want it really we can't argue with that though I'm surprised Chris Harris would want the track the way it was on Saturday night as his game isn't from the gate - one other point Edward Kennett rode well on Saturday for his 15 max I wonder how many points he will get when the Rockets come to Kings Lynn ?my guess not many as the Lynn track will be prepared the way the Stars riders want it so really we can't moan about Rye as we will do the same
  7. Think Panthers fans should remember Simon Lambert is at best a reserve on a over inflated average - he is what he is he's gone as far as he's ever going to go in the sport. He's a big track rider always has been
  8. I'm surprised Rory Schlein hasn't been snapped up - from what I saw last night at Rye House Watt is on borrowed time woeful is the word I'd use so if Leicester are thinking of a team change I'd act fast before others do - not having a full official 1-7 is a crazy situation for home meetings at least .
  9. well he puts Australia in front of the U.K. Anyway
  10. and to my reckoning you've not had your official 1-7 all together in a home meeting yet - the way things are going guest rider will be your no1
  11. what's Kasprzak excuse then ? Same I guess Poland is his priority . My concerns from last night is Josh Bailey who is clearly out of his depth not going to crirtise but this league is just a step too far .
  12. Must admit I'm missing my Monday night Speedway TV fix
  13. Leicester continue to pay the price for sticking with Saturday nights - Belle Vue Swindon and Kings Lynn realised years ago Saturdays are no longer viable.
  14. Have a parade 7.20 first race 7.30 and if everyone not in the stadium tough leave earlier to get to the track - I'm sure the ones we waited for would soon catch on to this if they missed a race or two .
  15. It's a no brainier to me start the meeting on time if there are fans still waiting to pay and get in the stadium so be it if they miss a race or two tough next meeting they will leave earlier to get to the track on time it's always the fans that get there on time that's made to suffer by having to wait on the ones that leave it to the last moment .
  16. sadly there isn't much that can be done about the sun but start 7.30 if they get 4 races in and the sun becomes a problem then have an interval not wait for first race 8pm come out to the start then realise the sun is an issue . One point on the sun problem the track hasn't moved over the years I don't remember delays becuse of the sun in Terry Betts Simmo Mike Lee Dave Jessup days . perhaps you dont go to speedway after a long day at work and have to be up early the next morning - all I'm asking for is more urgency to get on with meetings and I see none .
  17. problem is they don't get on with it no urgency shown at all why not parade 7-20 first race 7-30 have a 15 minute interval and hopefully 9-15 job done . And if we started at 7.30 if there are falls tape ex whatever cause of a delay we not playing catch up on time if first race is 8 pm and we get delays that's what puts fans off as you no it's going to finnish late . All I want to see is some urgency to get the meeting started last season that was a joke as was Lamberts meeting .
  18. that works both ways the longer they draw it out could mean fans stop going me for one and I no others who feel the same - and how can you attract kids if it's drawn out till near on 10 pm when there is school the next day ? They definitely need to run a much slicker show and if Lamberts meeting was anything to go by I for one won't be going on a regular basis not starting on time and watching tractors going round and then an long interval are the main reasons time to have first race 7.30 and run a slick show Rory Schlien testimonial was a prime exaple of how to run a slick show
  19. totally agree 7.30 start is ideal why draw things out till 8pm let's get on with it .
  20. a 2pm start time was a great start time but 45 minutes introduction and parade was a joke and then have an interval was crazy - tractors grading after near on every race as well . For me Rory Schlien showed how to run a testimonial meeting a few years ago done and dusted in two hours .
  21. totally agree there - I think Chris Holder going to be spoilt riding for Kings Lynn this season there certainly won't be the track issues at KL that there always is at Poole Buster doesn't always get the track right but 99% of the time if he can't sort it it can't be sorted .
  22. I will remind you of that when he misses meetings for Lynn
  23. Whoever at 7 the way I see it its little more than making the numbers up what ever the no 7 scores is a bonus .
  24. Dump Holder sign Danny King and with the points available sign a much stronger no7
