  1. really can't see it would make much difference you are basically watching the same riders I'd guess 60-65% ride in both leagues the Championship is a very different league to the old PL we last raced in the differences between the Premiership and Championship is minimal guests and R/R is just as bad , so what would be gained I'm not sure - and dropping a league isn't going to sort the more deep rooted problems out at the club either .
  2. I'm also a long standing fan back to 1972 was the first season I went as a boy over the years I've missed only a handful of meetings my life was more or less planed around speedway and KL speedway mainly - our last meeting was the World Cup this season so when the Poole meeting came around even though we'd won away the night before we made the decision not to go mainly because of being fed up being what I felt taken for granted by the promotion it felt that they expected fans to turn up form an orderly que and hand over £17 well I'd had enough of that and being kept in the dark the lack of promoting by the club various reasons- then of course the events of the home Poole meeting boy was I pleased I'd missed that Rob Lyons walking and the announcer and Holder refusing to ride Batch with his wrist injury but then riding the next night Buster refusing to listen to anyone - and then the team changes right or wrong but to deliberately stop two riders from earning a living I thought was spite full and vindictive by the promotion but if you make changes bring in like for like replacements but no we went down the cheap road did admission prices fall did heck as like -then ridiculous double headers nothing has made we want to return since July 1st that's it until someone listens at the club I won't be returning. If that's moaning or negative comments so be it those are my reasons for not attending.
  3. season ticket holders have been ripped off Bt meeting £10 two double headers they've not give a toss about them they are now paying more than if they'd paid on the day
  4. you can call it bitching and moaning if u like but if certain things off track isn't sorted it's all going to end in tears for the club surely we all must agree we can't afford another season like this one and I mean more off track than on .
  5. Buster said it was a play off push when he sacked Holder and Batch - he didn't say which play off - sacking those two and not at least replace them with like for like replacements is without doubt the biggest own goal in speedway history. But hey least we will get an extra meeting- though it does depend on Leicester beating Rye .
  6. we have to move forward as a club if not the future is very bleak - hopefully much will have been taken on board and things off track will change - I feel we need new blood as co promoter at least with some new ideas to freshen things up and this person needs to be able to stand up to Buster or nothing will change - a change of attitude towards the paying customer is needed as much as anything -as for the team it's obvious the team we have isn't going to make the play offs in 2018 so we need a new face or two a number 1 would be a starting point . Will things change ?sadly that's in Busters hands
  7. At least with the second meeting being off can get back to normal and away from these crazy double headers - and I might even put in an appearance it certainly holds more appeal than it did last night .Though having just read all Poole now need is to beat Somerset to make 4 th spot I doubt very much the Rye meeting will be run as it will become a meaningless meeting so pointless running it . So hope Buster offered some sort refund last night ?
  8. Just shows the total lack of interest in this fixture when a Poole fan starts what should be a Kings Lynn fans thread .
  9. I am really confused as I still am unaware why it was called off no reason given on the PA other than it's off Why ? I expect to use my ticket on Sunday as I feel mugged off by what I've witnessed tonight surely my ticket can be used again ?
  10. that is definitely the way to do things rather than make fans pay for something they don't want - but there you go those days have long gone .
  11. they can re brand it re launch it they can do with it what they like but until promoters learn how to promote and respect fans nothing will change. It's dead in the water from what I can see
  12. wonderful- why oh why go with a double header ? No lessons learned from last week I guess ? Was going if it was just Poole but now not so sure about going - and zero considerations to season ticket holders yet again .
  13. it is truly amazing to think 14 home meetings 26 weeks to fit them in and they can't even manage that let alone space them out at regular intervals through those 26 weeks speedway is a total farce . and of course the original date that night there was no reason to call it off in the first place .
  14. No don't blame Lambert need to blame whoever came up with the idea of running a double header against the same team , not sure what school of good business that person went too
  15. problem is if you go with a championship team on the cheap that where your going to end up - yes dump Holder and Batch but at least replace them with like for like and if they had we may still have been looking forward to the play offs . Sadly we only have ourselves to blame . By your comments race Poole on today's track you must feel Buster got the track wrong that night and ultimately he was to blame for the situation that developed that night with Holder and Batch ? Losing Lewis Rose was massive as well he seems to have been totally forgotten since his injury if there is a rider of the season Lewis would be my choice .
  16. the attitude of some who are connected with the club towards there paying customers is terrible they deserve no one turning up to meetings - season ticket holders have been ripped off as well they are now paying more per meeting than if they'd paid on the gate . Again do the club care ? I have my doubts . As for next season I feel the promotion has major bridge building to do between fans and club some will say I don't no what you mean there is no problem- well there most definitely is - I and several of friends have stopped going and it wasn't because of meltdown Thursday either why we stopped we fed up with being taken for granted the last time we went was World Cup 1st July .
  17. I agree 100% with all you say -sadly if you don't agree with Buster there's only one outcome- the gate out of the stadium.
  18. for me it's all about being entertained and being made to feel valued as a paying customer rather than taken for granted that I will turn up and hand over my £17 well I've had enough of that attitude from KL speedway if they want me to attend they are going to have to put a bit of effort in they need to for starters make me feel like AFA is where I need to be each Wednesday night at the moment I'm enjoying doing other things with my cash and if I'm honest I've not missed it but speedway is a big part of my life and I'd like to return but only if the club is going to change and put some effort in off track .
  19. and your fine about being treated like a mushroom regarding MPT ?
  20. Biggest question will there be speedway at KL next season - the club has gone from play of certs winning away at Poole one night to meltdown down Thursday the next night and now last nights farce - I'm not saying everything in the garden was rosy before meltdown Thursday but Holder and Batch can't take all the blame had the promotion at least met them half way regarding the track who knows we would and could have still been in the play offs - as for next season who's going to want to ride for KL is the leading question riders talk .
  21. so why no no8 when running R/R and why did they sit in the fact that MPT wasn't going to be there best interest of speedway? Buster is to blame for both of those facts
  22. or swap your admission ticket for a £8 off voucher to get the £8 off the next home meeting if you leave after the first meeting I'd be happy with that .
  23. in Holder and Batch case I've never said they did no wrong on that night what I don't get though why Robert Lambert has been conveniently forgotten he didn't come out to race either- in Rory case though on the night in question though you say there is no night in question- Rory most definitely did no wrong he was 100% correct there was no way that meeting could have been run but if you say it could have been we will go with that you must be right .
