  1. wonderful- why oh why go with a double header ? No lessons learned from last week I guess ? Was going if it was just Poole but now not so sure about going - and zero considerations to season ticket holders yet again .
  2. it is truly amazing to think 14 home meetings 26 weeks to fit them in and they can't even manage that let alone space them out at regular intervals through those 26 weeks speedway is a total farce . and of course the original date that night there was no reason to call it off in the first place .
  3. No don't blame Lambert need to blame whoever came up with the idea of running a double header against the same team , not sure what school of good business that person went too
  4. problem is if you go with a championship team on the cheap that where your going to end up - yes dump Holder and Batch but at least replace them with like for like and if they had we may still have been looking forward to the play offs . Sadly we only have ourselves to blame . By your comments race Poole on today's track you must feel Buster got the track wrong that night and ultimately he was to blame for the situation that developed that night with Holder and Batch ? Losing Lewis Rose was massive as well he seems to have been totally forgotten since his injury if there is a rider of the season Lewis would be my choice .
  5. the attitude of some who are connected with the club towards there paying customers is terrible they deserve no one turning up to meetings - season ticket holders have been ripped off as well they are now paying more per meeting than if they'd paid on the gate . Again do the club care ? I have my doubts . As for next season I feel the promotion has major bridge building to do between fans and club some will say I don't no what you mean there is no problem- well there most definitely is - I and several of friends have stopped going and it wasn't because of meltdown Thursday either why we stopped we fed up with being taken for granted the last time we went was World Cup 1st July .
  6. I agree 100% with all you say -sadly if you don't agree with Buster there's only one outcome- the gate out of the stadium.
  7. for me it's all about being entertained and being made to feel valued as a paying customer rather than taken for granted that I will turn up and hand over my £17 well I've had enough of that attitude from KL speedway if they want me to attend they are going to have to put a bit of effort in they need to for starters make me feel like AFA is where I need to be each Wednesday night at the moment I'm enjoying doing other things with my cash and if I'm honest I've not missed it but speedway is a big part of my life and I'd like to return but only if the club is going to change and put some effort in off track .
  8. and your fine about being treated like a mushroom regarding MPT ?
  9. Biggest question will there be speedway at KL next season - the club has gone from play of certs winning away at Poole one night to meltdown down Thursday the next night and now last nights farce - I'm not saying everything in the garden was rosy before meltdown Thursday but Holder and Batch can't take all the blame had the promotion at least met them half way regarding the track who knows we would and could have still been in the play offs - as for next season who's going to want to ride for KL is the leading question riders talk .
  10. so why no no8 when running R/R and why did they sit in the fact that MPT wasn't going to be there best interest of speedway? Buster is to blame for both of those facts
  11. or swap your admission ticket for a £8 off voucher to get the £8 off the next home meeting if you leave after the first meeting I'd be happy with that .
  12. in Holder and Batch case I've never said they did no wrong on that night what I don't get though why Robert Lambert has been conveniently forgotten he didn't come out to race either- in Rory case though on the night in question though you say there is no night in question- Rory most definitely did no wrong he was 100% correct there was no way that meeting could have been run but if you say it could have been we will go with that you must be right .
  13. well there definitely was and is a night in question regarding Rory and Buster fall out if you think that's not the case you are very delusional- as far as I'm aware they've not spoken since not a very professional way to run a speedway club or be chair of the BSPA . Rory may we'll be bitter towards that night when he was spoken to in a not very professional manner to so the least - I think most employees in that situation wouldn't be none to happy with there ex employer. You can call Rory and Holder and Batch all you like but the promotion wasn't innocent in both occasions.
  14. that's an excellent idea - an £8 refund on the way out would do it for me we'd go on Wednesday if was the case .
  15. on a weekend yes no problem I'd gladly pay an extra £8 but on a Wednesday with early start the next morning at work I'd be leaving the stadium after the first 15 heats so £25 for one meeting I don't think so
  16. well if it's a stupid idea my £s will be staying in my pocket I'm not being forced to pay for something I don't want
  17. on the night in question Rory as Kings Lynn captain and Jason Doyle of Swindon was 110% right no way could that meeting be run Buster was totally out of order how and what he said to Rory - in Rory we had a great captain and leader sadly that's been lost at the club - as for gifted a testimonial what a clueless statement Rory has been 100% loyal to British speedway and to my mind deserved one more than some I could mention. One thing to be learnt over the last two season is it's Busters way or the highway even if in Rory case he was bang out of order and clearly wrong .
  18. Terrible idea to run the same team twice on the same night terrible idea to start 7-30 needs to be 6-45 at latest and even worse idea to charge £25 when in some case fans will drift away after the first meeting- with having to be at work early the next day we will definitely not be attending unless we can pay £17 for the first meeting and go home .
  19. whoever wants to see the same team twice in one night ? and I don't fancy still being there at gone 11pm on a Wednesday night . 11.15 pm
  20. by all means hold a double header but against the same club 🤔 Surely that's not good business
  21. has that been the plan all along ? big crowd at both venues how could either club lose ? All this talk of a play off place yes relegation play off 😉😉
  22. For us even with the £10 to get in tomorrow night it's the traveling to the track program bite to eat - all in all for the two of us £40 or stay home and watch the same meeting no travel no eating out no program expense, just BT subscription but we'd be paying that anyway- I'd always attend TV meetings at KL but I've got so I can take it or leave it , our money is spent elsewhere sadly
  23. past caring to be honest the sport is dead on its feet .
  24. Was going to go to this but I think I will save my £10 .
  25. I agree with most you say - but 5 man teams ? Water the sport down even more I'd have thought a better route is to get to the bottom as to why riders don't want to race here and try to find a way to sort it so they do want to race here - why is it bottom of almost every riders list to want to race here ? - we have to do something and fast this sport is dead man walking . I really hope with Buster as chairman of BSPA it was going to be a new beginning for our sport how wrong could I be ?
