  1. think you need to ask a Belle Vue fan about there situation it's not so black and white as the picture you paint
  2. As far as I'm concerned they can stick Wednesday nights meeting were the sun don't shine . Am looking forward to a competitive team and much more customer friendly attitude from the promotion in 2018 then I will return .
  3. I can't see Trucks R us continuing with there sponsorship they must feel so let down by the club on and off the track I also can't see Roger Warnes Transport returning after how they've been s##t on by the club - that leaves MRC and Poultec- but would either of them want to have name associated with the shambles that's gone on at Lynn this season .
  4. just read the article - unless we get a new hands on promoter or promotion I can't see things changing in fact Robert speaking out may almost have signed his way out of the club after all it's Busters way or the highway as others that have gone against him has found out .
  5. have to admire your loyalty and enthusiasm to the club I'm sorry to say loyalty has worn very thin with me this season - very unsure if I will attend this meeting as it's totally meaningless meeting as neither team has any thing to race for .
  6. the choices are 1 carry on as we are which ever league we are in as some seem to think every thing will be sun shine and roses if we drop a league 2 take a co promoter on but still has to deal with Buster 3 new promotion but would still have to deal with Buster to some degree. So unless Buster totally sells up can't see much changing
  7. was going to like your post but it's wrong to like it - but you are spot on in what you say
  8. was going to like your post but it's wrong to like it - but you are spot on in what you say
  9. I don't sadly other than email the club but they often don't reply .And I agree £25 for one meeting isn't good value .
  10. I would say as long as Leicester lose tonight at Rye House then I think the meeting won't be run would be cheaper to take a fine for not completing our fixtures- as for running a open meeting I think we more chance of Holder and Batch returning in 2018 - sooner our season is over the better.
  11. how would one league work surely there isn't enough riders for 7 man teams also it would mean less meetings for the riders that now D up wouldn't they be crying they are not getting enough meeting and not earning enough money . One things for sure speedway isn't going to carry on the way it is and it needs someone with some radical ideas to think out side the box I and many more would love to see you back involved again if not at KL but working on ideas for the future of our sport -
  12. new ideas and enthusiasm is needed and someone who can stand up to Buster .
  13. really can't see it would make much difference you are basically watching the same riders I'd guess 60-65% ride in both leagues the Championship is a very different league to the old PL we last raced in the differences between the Premiership and Championship is minimal guests and R/R is just as bad , so what would be gained I'm not sure - and dropping a league isn't going to sort the more deep rooted problems out at the club either .
  14. I'm also a long standing fan back to 1972 was the first season I went as a boy over the years I've missed only a handful of meetings my life was more or less planed around speedway and KL speedway mainly - our last meeting was the World Cup this season so when the Poole meeting came around even though we'd won away the night before we made the decision not to go mainly because of being fed up being what I felt taken for granted by the promotion it felt that they expected fans to turn up form an orderly que and hand over £17 well I'd had enough of that and being kept in the dark the lack of promoting by the club various reasons- then of course the events of the home Poole meeting boy was I pleased I'd missed that Rob Lyons walking and the announcer and Holder refusing to ride Batch with his wrist injury but then riding the next night Buster refusing to listen to anyone - and then the team changes right or wrong but to deliberately stop two riders from earning a living I thought was spite full and vindictive by the promotion but if you make changes bring in like for like replacements but no we went down the cheap road did admission prices fall did heck as like -then ridiculous double headers nothing has made we want to return since July 1st that's it until someone listens at the club I won't be returning. If that's moaning or negative comments so be it those are my reasons for not attending.
  15. season ticket holders have been ripped off Bt meeting £10 two double headers they've not give a toss about them they are now paying more than if they'd paid on the day
  16. you can call it bitching and moaning if u like but if certain things off track isn't sorted it's all going to end in tears for the club surely we all must agree we can't afford another season like this one and I mean more off track than on .
  17. Buster said it was a play off push when he sacked Holder and Batch - he didn't say which play off - sacking those two and not at least replace them with like for like replacements is without doubt the biggest own goal in speedway history. But hey least we will get an extra meeting- though it does depend on Leicester beating Rye .
  18. we have to move forward as a club if not the future is very bleak - hopefully much will have been taken on board and things off track will change - I feel we need new blood as co promoter at least with some new ideas to freshen things up and this person needs to be able to stand up to Buster or nothing will change - a change of attitude towards the paying customer is needed as much as anything -as for the team it's obvious the team we have isn't going to make the play offs in 2018 so we need a new face or two a number 1 would be a starting point . Will things change ?sadly that's in Busters hands
  19. At least with the second meeting being off can get back to normal and away from these crazy double headers - and I might even put in an appearance it certainly holds more appeal than it did last night .Though having just read all Poole now need is to beat Somerset to make 4 th spot I doubt very much the Rye meeting will be run as it will become a meaningless meeting so pointless running it . So hope Buster offered some sort refund last night ?
  20. Just shows the total lack of interest in this fixture when a Poole fan starts what should be a Kings Lynn fans thread .
  21. I am really confused as I still am unaware why it was called off no reason given on the PA other than it's off Why ? I expect to use my ticket on Sunday as I feel mugged off by what I've witnessed tonight surely my ticket can be used again ?
  22. that is definitely the way to do things rather than make fans pay for something they don't want - but there you go those days have long gone .
  23. they can re brand it re launch it they can do with it what they like but until promoters learn how to promote and respect fans nothing will change. It's dead in the water from what I can see
