  1. A very ordinary Championship side if Iversen isn’t included- but that’s were we are at the Premiership isn’t much stronger than the Championship- at this stage of the winter I’m normally getting excited towards the new season so far I’m not even looking forward to the new season even the clubs that’s signed riders there is nothing new nothing to get excited about sadly as for Lynn they might as well get on announcing the team as it will be more or less common knowledge by the supporters get together in January.
  2. We ran a championship team in second half of last season but they didnt reduce admission prices
  3. Not just the riders some fans lost respect of the man in charge - since then I’m more and more convinced the dumping of Holder and Batch was more about cost cutting than anything else
  4. It’s vital for any new additions to the team is to not question the promotion and to be a total yes man or the exit door is shown .
  5. It’s interesting but I really can’t see how the finances add up he’d want a small fortune in wages and rightly so being the World Champion. Sorry can’t see it happening
  6. Add Kasper Andersen to that line up as what I’m hearing he’s a dead cert
  7. I’ve heard a young Dane Kasper Andersen is in the frame for a team place . I’ve never heard of him to be honest
  8. 25th Jan fans forum is more or less a waste of time as Lambert seems to be on his way out of the club the 1-7 will be known well before the 25th jan .
  9. If the rumours are true that the club lost money last season and if there is no tv cash costs have got to be cut or admission has to go up sadly
  10. Nothing seems to have worked to attract old and new fans to speedway a £10 admission could do just that surely it’s better to have more fans in the stadiums up and down the country maybe £10 is a but low but all I’m saying is why not try reducing admission my guess with increased numbers clubs would better off - look at KL last season cut cost dumping Holder and Batch replaced them with riders on lesser wage crowd fell away had they adjusted the admission price accordingly that may not have happened but they charged the same . I’m not saying cut the admission at the cost of clubs closing but let’s think outside the box a bit more that all I’m saying
  11. I’d be surprised if he was any older than 60 - RIP Noddy a true speedway fan
  12. I’d not be so certain on Lewis Kerr logistics might prove to be one step too far if as I’m told Monday nights are race nights at KL subject to NKI signing .
  13. Absolutely we will you can count on that

  15. Championship clubs charge too much as well - the cut backs in team strength in the Premiership should mean a cut in admission prices but I bet it doesn’t- it’s a £10 sport at best and just maybe if it was £10 it might encourage new fans and old fans to return just maybe
  16. I’d guess it’s a lot less in terms £s per club than the previous deal hence why no Lindgren at Wolves - clubs will have to cut there cloth accordingly or make short fall up with sponsorship or increased admission prices but we a basically talking a £10 admission sport now with the standard the Premiership is now at .
  17. If there is no tv deal or even if there is it’s rumoured to be £3000 a meeting covered by tv which isn’t going to go far paying Iversen Doyle or Lindgren each meeting to make up the short fall we need a major sponsor but after last seasons farce who will go near the club and if no tv that will have a knock on effect on sponsors - and rumours I’ve heard we lost money last season think we need to accept reality we are in for a low budget team similar to the one we ended last season with .
  18. From what I was told today Lambert looking very doubtful
  19. Think some are concerned on something thats not even happened yet we got 2018 first to get a tv deal sorted before we get too concerned with 2019 - in domestic speedway terms 2019 is a very long way off
  20. absolutely spot on - all those problems have been swept under the carpet . I’m willing to listen to what the club have to say and hopefully the changes will be for the better - though after reading the latest press release and I’ve read it a few times seems to me it’s a case of how we can put a statement out without actually telling the fans bugger all - to me the press release was nonsense made little sense long winded and told the fans more or less nothing . So from what I’ve seen nothing much has changed so far .The other thing that gets me is why are they not mentioning Robin Brundle he’s clearly involved in the club and yet again they say nothing.
  21. lol 😝how about 24 hours before the meeting on a Wednesday night racing 🤣🤣🤣
  22. job done then and will carry on posting my opinions 👍
  23. that continues to be the problem over the year many have said bye bye - as for whats posted on here if you pay £17 to get into meetings your entitled to an opinion and even if you dont go its a free country again entitled to an opinion.
