  1. Absolutely- it’s a no brainier - up until 12 months ago I’d definitely been at Leicester tonight- not been to KL since July 1st last season so I’m quite happy watching on TV the racing from BV .
  2. Bit of a clue in the title Promoter should be promoting speedway - speedway promoters in general put 0 effort in on that - and wasn’t much interest in this meeting till Racers and Royals opened this thread yesterday morning that really says it all and I wasn’t the only one that didn’t even no we was riding - so much for pre season promises that things will change from Brundle- yes I agree if your a big Stars fan like your self you’d no there is a meeting tonight but surely speedway needs to be trying to attract as many fans as possible to meetings. Good luck to the Stars tonight with a bit of luck can see an away win .
  3. I’d already thought that myself Monday night speedway in the UK id a pain in backside when you’ve a Tuesday night meeting in Sweden- but we shall see could be just you and me being cynical
  4. Depends how interested KL are in making the play offs it’s still very much in our own hands but we need a replacement for Kerr ASAP - my guess we will go through the motions to complete our fixtures then loads of promises for 2019 - I really hope this time I’m wrong but that’s our normal route .
  5. How low has interest sunk in KL Speedway? Fans not aware the Stars are away at Leicester tomorrow- updates on up coming meetings on social media none existent whoever in charge of that needs to be shown the door . With Lambert win last night in the European Championship you’d have thought the club would be milking that for all it’s worth and up coming meetings but no - then they wonder why fans walk away - sadly can see the club is entering the usual pattern of the last few seasons let’s get the season over and done with asap
  6. Østergaard is injured 5 broken ribs and Garrity would get on with Buster about 5 minutes I reckon- Linus Sunstrom maybe ?
  7. Such is the Kings Lynn social media updates lol didn’t even no we had a meeting tomorrow lol
  8. More like tweety pie as he’s cheap cheap cheap lol
  9. If the club are serious about making the play offs Kerr’s replacement needs to be a rabbit out the hat type of signing a inspiration signing that makes othe clubs sit up and take notice . Even more important now with Lambert signing
  10. That’s the difficult one who’s available and more important who would come -
  11. We’ve still have a chance of the play offs with the right signings those play offs are more than possible- or we just complete the outstanding fixtures and try again in 2019 but just for once I hope the boat is pushed out rather than just going through the motions to end of the season
  12. Going by past seasons we will muddle through to complete our fixtures.
  13. No need to worry about that one as far as I no he’s still out injured
  14. I guess the club will just have to take a chance then - going by every WC since 1966 England won’t make the final anyway so not going to be a problem- but if they just was to make the final it could be a massive financial hit on the club . Looking at the fixture list on the club website you’ve a meeting Friday and double header Sunday what could happen if England make the final good crowd Friday poor crowd Sunday either way even if England doesn’t make the final it’s an expensive weekend again it could split the crowd - I also see only one home fixture in August that’s not good either in the holiday season .
  15. Whilst we all hope England make the final we’ve two matches to get through first we win both of them before we should even think about the final so sort of getting ahead of our selfs here though it is only next Sunday - the obvious solution to me would be have the double header the following Sunday the day after Cardiff or is the Showground unavalble ?
  16. One difference now he’s Chairperson of the BSPA my guess he has to bite his tongue while he’s in this position- imagine how it look if he had a right go over the PA and being Chairperson of the league can imagine the comments on here -
  17. If Kings Lynn ain’t making money no one is - Buster owns the stadium own the food and drink outlets so how can he not make money out of speedway ?
  18. Surely those with admission tickets will get in free to any of the next 3 meetings or in Leicester fans case when the meeting is re- arranged - I’d be amazed if that’s not the case - after all any short fall would have been made up last night on food and drink sales a two hour hold up I’d have thought there would be increased sales in those areas . Those who are critical of last night I’m sure it’s an a aculmination of what’s gone on over the last few years if last night was just a one off doubt much would be said but it’s not just a one off ok crashes can’t be helped they are a fact of life sadly . Even in the build up to this meeting (or lack of it ) there was confusion on if Iversen was riding or not for the Stars - I found out he definitely was through a connection I have in the sport in DK anyone who knows me will no who I asked - so surely this confusion could have been hit on the head days before the meeting all the confusion does is put fans off attending - why is so hard to get these simple things right ? If it stopped 5 people attending it’s £90 lost to the club - all we all want is the club to be successful on and off the track all I see is little or no effort to promote meetings a week before there should be something on social media about up coming meetings not 48 hours before .
  19. Yes speedy recovery to both injured riders . I wasn’t there and boy I’m pleased I wasn’t if I had been I’d been long gone before it was called off - sadly with crashes there is nothing the club can do about that - that’s speedway but gone are the days that fans will hang around like last night definitely would have been better to call it off in first instance all nights like last night does it rack fans off even more and they are less likely to return think you are spot on about getting to heat 10. With the demise yesterday of Rye House - speedway in general in this country needs to wake up before it’s too late . But is it important when two riders are injured?
  20. Let’s hope the injured riders are ok and not as badly injured as first feared .
  21. The man that could have changed things but he wasn’t allowed to was JC - Busters son . Sadly we are seeing the final nails going into the coffin- Now BT can pull the plug on league racing as the deal I believe was for minimum 8 teams .
  22. If anything he’s done more harm to British speedway than any one that had the role before him - he’s clueless
  23. Very sad day for Rye House Speedway and British Speedway - my guess they won’t be the last to close this season- British Speedway is a total farce the ways it’s run sadly we’ve reaped what we sow .
