King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

Or Charles Wright -
No I don’t blame him but he’s bought a lot of it on his self - all saying is when you have a gathering like Saturday to protest the closing of the showground and the current owner of the club doesn’t turn up it’s not a good look - it says to me the true owner of the club is the fans and the real owner couldn’t give a rats arse if Peterborough Speedeway continues.
-
I agree it wasn’t timed well at all but in Kings Lynn defence it had already been reported via Polish website regarding Basso signing before the KL announcement . But I agree doesn’t look good . And it definitely doesn’t look good when the Panthers owner doesn’t turn up in Peterborough City centre yesterday .
-
Have to agree should have been handed over to the consortium months ago then 2024 could they could have had half a chance to have sorted it with stadium owners it really does look like the sale has been block deliberately from where I’m sitting .
-
Yes I think you are correct - wonder how much longer they will be though - sadly it’s starting to look unlikely racing will continue there I’d have thought if to even remote chance of the consortium that’s trying to buy the club from Chapman doing a deal to carry on at the showground the owners would have left everything in place at the track for the time being . That said a new fence could be soon be put in place and track relaid. It is though a sad sight to see
-
I agree - such a shame one of the best race tracks in the country - and a club and its fans taken with no thought of the history behind it such a shame it really is
-
Such a tragedy track fence and lights gone what total disaster hopefully this isn’t the end
-
Who’s to say there isn’t a big sponsor lined up to help fund PL racing ? I’d guess the rumoured move is more about survival of the PL and the TV deal than anything else - the survival of Scunthorpe speedway should be first priority I’d have thought though .

Rob the biggest dead cert to be TM in years -
A very strong rumour Scunthorpe will be in the PL 2024 .
-
Have to agree rather over the top - all people want to hear Chapman has sold the club - the announcement is hardly big news far from it - but it’s news and hopefully it helps the cause.

Iversen is coming back also not as a heat leader in a no 2 or 4 role from what I’ve heard . -
I was told Saturday night at the farewell meeting everything speedway connected needs to be removed within 7 days from the site and yes apparently Workington have bought the track lights how true any of this is time will tell
-
Now this meeting is over i hope Chapman would step back and let any interested potential owner promoter take charge of the Panthers and see what can be done if anything.
-
Either Chapman has no sense of history of the Panthers as a club or just couldn’t be bothered - several ex riders was in attendance and even ex promoter in James Easter would have been an idea for all of them to had a chat over the pa and even a lap of the track .
-
Can’t disagree with all you say I was there last night the track was way to slick and dry - a big crowd deserved more for there money - I was told that the supporters club paid Chapman ex Panthers riders admission costs which is a disgrace - much much more should have been made of the ex riders in attendance. As been posted on Facebook this morning Chapman has a week to get all his equipment off site and track lights apparently been sold to Workington . Last nights meeting as you say will be quickly forgotten but it should have been much much better.

More likely to be a mix of Pboros and Kings Lynn riders can’t see Buster breaking the bank
-
I’m sorry but I’m afraid Brandon Stadium is done it be the shock of the century if this goes in favour of the stadium- I really hope I’m wrong I really do
-
Sadly you are correct if I knew nothing about speedway or stock cars I’d listen to the views put forward and I’d think are these people for real- sadly the argument in favour of speedway and stock cars the people doing it are vastly under prepared they need figures on costs and most importantly attendance numbers - I will be amazed if this goes in favour of Brandon Stadium if there was ever a need for a rabbit out of the hat moment it’s needed pretty dam fast
-
Sadly it doesn’t look good to me
-
Don’t think anyone will be to upset with his departure

Seem to remember he saved Mildenhall for a short period of time then sold it or closed it can’t remember but took the club assets with him - didn’t he almost buy Leicester as well ? -
Well going by what I’ve just seen in the last 45 minutes Brandon is lost that bloke has to be the most un prepared for the job in hand as I’ve ever seen totally uncomfortably in what he was supposed to be doing - on what I’ve just witnessed all is lost
