  1. Definitely having a dig which is fine by me
  2. I guess that’s a dig at me and many many more that’s stopped going for various reasons over the last few seasons - As for Roger I’m pleased he does go he loves his speedway - but should he really have to pay to go into a meeting? after all the sponsorship money he put into the club ? I no the line has to be drawn somewhere on letting people in free obviously but I personally think Roger has been put on the wrong side of the line .
  3. Have to agree - was a main sponsor ploughed a lot of money into the club -he lived and breathed KL speedway and was dropped and had to pay to get in as you say . Money talks I guess and if a bigger offer comes in to sponsor the club I guess most would go with it - But there wasn’t a more loyal sponsor than Roger and his wife but loyalty counted for nothing in the end .
  4. Time will tell I guess but as I posted earlier today I wish Alex well in this role and I hope he helps to bring the same success as Rob did
  5. As I posted earlier I wish Alex well in this role
  6. Is Alex Brady a yes man if so he will get on fine if he isn’t a yes man as others at the club have found could be a short lived appointment..
  7. I wish Alex Brady well in his role I really hope he can help to turn the team around .
  8. Much improved performance from the Stars and a very well done for that wonder if had anything to do with ditching the former team manager ?
  9. What is worrying the lack of interest on this thread and on Twitter and Facebook in this meeting .Though I guess it’s season over for KL
  10. That’s the number 1 requirement to be a yes man
  11. Yes it’s for safety reason for stock cars .
  12. And there you have it in one you said it YOU DONT GO ANY MORE now why don’t you ask your self why that is ?and pass the answer on to the promotion it may just help them to attract ex fans back and even get the next generation interested .
  13. That’s exactly what said earlier on the Stars v Panthers thread - it has to be now all about March 2022 building towards that - this season is gone in all honesty - let’s see who wants to ride for the club who shows passion for the club and that goes for the team manager we need to see passion from him not just the same old same old .
  14. To a point you are correct that’s the way speedway has gone - what I mean those in the team this season put in some great performances show passion to want to stay with the club for 2022 . Win a few meetings would also help on and off track nothing worse going into the closed season on the back of losing meeting for riders and fans alike .
  15. Not a surprising result after losing Rory ( get well soon )was always going to be tough even with him - well done to the Panthers - I think for the Stars it’s all about building towards March 2022 but hopefully get a few wins in what’s left of the 2021 season .
  16. How very wrong you are if you think I want any club to close most all I’d not want Kings Lynn to close . As for me disappearing sadly that’s just what many have done over the last few years. How about trying to get the next generation of fans interested and even try to get some ex fans back ?
  17. Really ? And of course you never do lol wow pot kettle springs to mind
  18. Sadly you are correct - where it go wrong ? Moving away from Saturday nights racing because of the GP series and riders increasingly wanting race in Europe on the weekends hasn’t helped - promotions taking fans for granted hasn’t helped either total failure to attract the next generation of fans to watch speedway .- but for me it’s the fact the world has moved on but the sport hasn’t - 15 races for £20 clearly isn’t value for money for what’s on offer .
  19. I’d already thought it - but is it dropping down ? 10 years ago I’d said bad move but now it’s the better product with the same riders more or less - 6 team PL is no good to anyone .
  20. Because it already is a championship team - not sure on averages though
  21. It has a feel of the last season with Waggy in charge . Drop to the Championship wouldn’t surprise me and could keep the same team
