King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
Haza replied to SamKM91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Similar with Pickering last season he soon got fixed up after being dropped while injured- why do these riders quit riding for Buster ? Is it the rate of pay or some other reason Tobi may well not ride again in the UK this season but I’d not want to bet my life on it he won’t return this season at Sheffield or indeed Ipswich - Kings Lynn seems to be the team to ride for when you can’t get in elsewhere the days of riders once was queuing up to race for the club that’s seem long gone . -
Great win for the Stars some good racing as well - Jan Kvech looks a useful signing on a 6 average great debut - Basso and Wojdylo need splitting up though both seem to get in each others way both wanting the same line - good all round performance and a great win .

Put the licence on ice for a season or two see what happens then just can’t see Buster running next season - hopefully someone will come forward and run the club who knows -

Not sure that make much difference when the promotions heart isn’t in it Buster wants out . New ideas new enthusiasm and energy need from the top down at the club -

KL always seem to run on a shoestring budget that’s a major factor no wealthy main sponsor bank rolling the club - as for next season who knows ? Someone might fancy running the club can’t see Buster running speedway next season tbh - I thought we’d a decent team at start of the season but just how quickly it all went wrong - new enthusiasm new ideas are definitely need rather than going through the motions each season to just compete fixtures . -
What before Simon Lambert signs or Thomas Jorgensen’s

I’d say Ipswich will get first pickings of any rider half interested in racing in the UK I just don’t see any meaningful changes at KL as in other seasons it’s complete fixtures get the season over and can concentrate on Stock Cars - with Buster allegedly in his last season promoting at KL why would he splash the cash now when hasn’t in the past ? -

Having said that you’d have thought Lindgren had bigger fish to fry than riding for Birmingham but he’s signed for them so you never no what might happen money talks Buster offers the right money who knows - personally I think they’d better off looking at riders outside the GP series there is more chance they could fit racing in England in . -

I’m not saying that’s what will happen but it’s a realistic possibility I think with 8 points available where realistically are we going to find a rider who want to race in England and more crucially be prepared to pay that rider more than Toft -just can’t see it happening sorry -

King’s Lynn vs Ipswich - Thurs 23rd May
Haza replied to SamKM91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Personally it’s more to do with who’s running the club than what league we are in to get the feel good factor back it’s lack of enthusiasm in running the club we are just going through the motions each season and it’s been that way for a few seasons the club has never been the same since Jonathan Chapman left he wasn’t everyones cup of tea but he had enthusiasm for running the club Buster has none unfortunately - new ideas is what’s needed more than a different league -

Yes I agree but still better than a possible 3 riders in a race always better to run with 7 riders I’d have thought -

R/R is all well and good unless another team member get injured need to name a no8 I think . -
In the big scheme of things the season was already all but over even before the 2 point deduction but when the team only had 2 points in the first place it isn’t going to make any difference to where the club finishes in the league - but the Stars can and will take league points of others in the remaining fixtures the priority has to be now winning at home and keeping the clubs fans entertained even when they do lose so there is something to race for even now.

King’s Lynn vs Sheffield, May 16th 2024
Haza replied to SamKM91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Buster has said many things over the year he wears his heart on his sleeve so to speak - many things he’s said in the heat of the moment haven’t happened- March 2025 is 10 months away anything could in that time . -
