  1. And definitely will upset season ticket holders and sponsors alike . I’m 35 minutes from the track and there was drizzle 4 pm ish but it’s been dry since 6 pm - fans are getting fed up with these constant call offs - hate to think how the riders feel as well
  2. Leading question for me is will they even complete there fixtures ?
  3. Wow should have been free admission for anyone under 5 - that’s crazy money
  4. There selling point is the track it’s far far better than anything Cardiff can offer
  5. That wouldn’t surprise me - wow that’s all any profit gone - that could have very serious consequences for BV speedway if they funded it - obviously pricing was all wrong or it been full as it was for World Cup a few years ago.
  6. I’d love to no the costs of hiring the stand for 100 people and cost of installing it and taking it down whatever profit was made on the other stands would eaten up very quickly - perhaps the tournament should been split up more with other track hosting the semi finals least attract different fans . Lessons id say have been learned. Congratulations Team GB and Belle Vue speedway for there outstanding efforts.
  7. So doesn’t matter that temporary stand is near on empty ? Drop the ticket price and fill the stadium way way over priced
  8. Poor crowd especially in the temporary stand must have cost a Fortune 500 people in it possibly? - priced totally wrong for this event - can’t see this coming back to Belle Vue
  9. Other clubs don’t seem to have this problem with riders who just don’t fancy a full season so why does KL ? There seems to be an on going problem I think - it’s either we pay peanuts or the management are a nightmare to work with .
  10. Similar with Pickering last season he soon got fixed up after being dropped while injured- why do these riders quit riding for Buster ? Is it the rate of pay or some other reason Tobi may well not ride again in the UK this season but I’d not want to bet my life on it he won’t return this season at Sheffield or indeed Ipswich - Kings Lynn seems to be the team to ride for when you can’t get in elsewhere the days of riders once was queuing up to race for the club that’s seem long gone .
  11. Great win for the Stars some good racing as well - Jan Kvech looks a useful signing on a 6 average great debut - Basso and Wojdylo need splitting up though both seem to get in each others way both wanting the same line - good all round performance and a great win .
  12. Put the licence on ice for a season or two see what happens then just can’t see Buster running next season - hopefully someone will come forward and run the club who knows
  13. Not sure that make much difference when the promotions heart isn’t in it Buster wants out . New ideas new enthusiasm and energy need from the top down at the club
  14. KL always seem to run on a shoestring budget that’s a major factor no wealthy main sponsor bank rolling the club - as for next season who knows ? Someone might fancy running the club can’t see Buster running speedway next season tbh - I thought we’d a decent team at start of the season but just how quickly it all went wrong - new enthusiasm new ideas are definitely need rather than going through the motions each season to just compete fixtures .
  15. What before Simon Lambert signs or Thomas Jorgensen’s
  16. You ain’t wrong with clueless Allit involved ain’t he Allit’s neighbour or at least lives down the same road
  17. If they Lynn don’t sign Zack Cook we might as well close for the season it’s a no brainer sign him asap
  18. I’d say Ipswich will get first pickings of any rider half interested in racing in the UK I just don’t see any meaningful changes at KL as in other seasons it’s complete fixtures get the season over and can concentrate on Stock Cars - with Buster allegedly in his last season promoting at KL why would he splash the cash now when hasn’t in the past ?
  19. Sadly Lynn are now lower down in the pecking order now Ipswich looking for a replacement
  20. Having said that you’d have thought Lindgren had bigger fish to fry than riding for Birmingham but he’s signed for them so you never no what might happen money talks Buster offers the right money who knows - personally I think they’d better off looking at riders outside the GP series there is more chance they could fit racing in England in .
  21. More likely to be Simon at this stage of the season Robert got far bigger fish to fry
  22. I’m not saying that’s what will happen but it’s a realistic possibility I think with 8 points available where realistically are we going to find a rider who want to race in England and more crucially be prepared to pay that rider more than Toft -just can’t see it happening sorry
  23. I agree but what are the alternatives? Buster won’t break the bank Birmingham cast offs could be the best we can hope for
  24. There will be a Birmingham rider available once Lingren arrives in early June
  25. Personally it’s more to do with who’s running the club than what league we are in to get the feel good factor back it’s lack of enthusiasm in running the club we are just going through the motions each season and it’s been that way for a few seasons the club has never been the same since Jonathan Chapman left he wasn’t everyones cup of tea but he had enthusiasm for running the club Buster has none unfortunately - new ideas is what’s needed more than a different league
