If as you say is correct it should be made clear this is the case before now . After Saturday stock car meeting and yesterday monsoon like conditions would interesting to no the state of the track as well - one thing for certain the original staging date for this meeting would have been 100% better conditions on and off track
-
If they do I will be amazed . For those attending let’s hope they do but there is a few reason why line ups could change .
-
I’d be very surprised if Robert races in the UK next season sadly - Jakobsen though that’s a much bigger possibility a 5 average is better for team building than a 7 average be crazy to ride and lose that lower average for what is a meaningless meeting other than pride in winning league points .
-
Could be yes - or Jacobsen be madness for him to ride and get a new average for the sake of one meeting

One Lambert confirmed for Monday’s meeting- that’s Simon - will there be two ?? Let’s hope so
-
For Jacobsen he definitely needs to miss the Belle Vue meeting a 5 average is far more appealing than a 7 average when team building for 2023

Terrible news - RIP

Terrible news at such a young age my thought are with the Hedge family at this very sad time RIP
-
I agree the club should be punished as the meeting should never have been called of in the first place as this meeting was due to have been on Eurosport and if there is payment for the tv meetings Lynn definitely should not get any payment this season - though not running this meeting stops deliberate average reduction.
-
Wouldn’t hold your breath Robert Lambert will be there when it’s run - the smart money is on Simon Lambert being there rather than Robert
-
That rules KL out then - a transfer fee or a season long lone fee for Lambert the most likely outcome. As I said if he rides in the UK Manchester is ideal to fly in and out of the UK .
-
I personally think Lambert could well stay with Belle Vue If he was to return to race in the UK for one reason Manchester Airport the ease of flying in and out of the UK - seem to remember Jason Crump saying similar when he was at Belle Vue
-
Makes sense definitely
-
Bound to be a 45-45 draw
-
And Kings Lynn riders lowering there green sheet average- that’s another reason why this meeting is very doubtful to happen
-
Sadly a good point - if the meeting is run and I think it’s a big IF as other than pride I guess the meeting means very little - Belle Vue could already be league champions by that date - will BV really be interested ?

Belle Vue v Ipswich Play off semi 2nd leg 3 Oct
Haza replied to Rob B's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Great for a neutral I agree and great for British speedway - but were was he when the British final was run ? And had his Polish team wanted him he’d not be In Manchester tonight that for sure . Make no mistake he’s here for one reason only Robert Lamberts bank balance- doesn’t care about Belle Vue or British speedway or he’d signed for Belle Vue back in March -

Great to see a rider like Lambert back in British speedway absolutely- but if he had Polish fixtures were would he be were was he when the British final was run ? and come next March will he have signed up for a full season ? -
Pleased I watched the Tomicek meeting from Prague tonight instead .
-
Sadly nothing on the meeting for Wolves dead rubber for them - will help for average reduction as well - protecting there selfs for the play offs - im sure come the semis they will be a very different side . But we’ll done the Stars on there win
-
You are correct- it was due to have been Belle Vue but was called off in dubious circumstances on the Sunday when weather forecast spoke of shower Monday night and Monday came and was totally dry - also it think the club was without Jorgensen that night had it been on
-
Spot on totally agree.
-
Great rider in his day no one would disagree with that but sadly his time on a speedway bike is over in my opinion
-
Downside to that is cities have more things on offer for people to spend there hard earned cash on .
