  1. Not even sure he’d be a 7 pointer he’s definitely had his day . Sure I saw on Twitter Brady was off to Denmark then on to Australia speedway related or just a holiday? If it is speedway related glad Brady gone rather than a hopeless Alitt
  2. Definitely would turn down Chris Holder
  3. Congratulations to all involved in this decision- now get speedway back at Brandon stadium asap
  4. Unless Buster is selling up at Pboro or having nothing to do with the running of the club I’d say absolutely no chance of this happening - last time Batch raced for Buster it ended in Buster finishing Batches season deliberately sacking him so he couldn’t sign for another club
  5. Don’t forget Buster sacked Batchelor along with Chris Holder and Chapman ended there season and Holder never raced here since - Buster wouldn’t touch Batchelor and I’d be amazed if Batch would want to race for him again - along with Schlien I’d say both are none starters unless Buster is sell it up
  6. Probably costs more to get out of the contract than loses on the meeting
  7. I actually looked at hotels in Cardiff this morning for two nights two people - they want silly money then stadium tickets travel costs food and drink on top makes it very expensive two days away - ok some say you don’t need two days but travelling from Lincolnshire definitely want two days to make it worth while trip .
  8. Cost I’d say is the main reason for not staging GP in big stadiums- that’s what I’m saying about Cardiff - if they made money on 19 thousand must have been making a fortune on 40 thousand attendance. if held in a purpose built speedway stadium costs must be dramatically less than Cardiff and Warsaw - though In Warsaw I think there was 50 thousand in attendance big difference to Cardiff
  9. 0% chance of Schlein 1 he’s retired and living back in Australia with his family 2 he’d never ride for Buster again after a big fallout at KL a few season ago .
  10. Exactly- how many would have turned up if they’d known what was going to happen over the course of the evening -2023 has new challenges cost of living crisis’ possible recession hitting it could be that 19 thousand turns into 12-15 thousand- at what point does ticket sales make Cardiff unviable I wonder ?
  11. Can only hope the GP capture the imagination of speedway fans the way 78 Wembley world final did - 19 thousand fans at Cardiff 2022 it can’t afford another disaster in 2023 or surely be the end .
  12. Heavy rain this morning here in South Lincs 20 miles from KL .if it’s called off again surely the title awarded to Poole .
  13. I agree with all you say - any interest in the league cup has long gone sadly - I would add to what you put - British final needs run well before Cardiff so if it does get called off like this season it can be re arranged in time before the GP so the wild card can be decided on the track not in the pits . The whole sport needs a almighty shake up but my guess it be same old as per usual
  14. Congratulations to Sheffield on winning the trophy- but such a shame the final couldn’t have been run at the conclusion of qualifying meetings back in the summer . Very doubtful if the league cup and Pairs will happen in 2023 .
  15. Want to thank you publicly for the swift help in shorting this out
  16. Thanks for the help but as far as I can see I’ve received no email yet - now is it because I didn’t subscribe until round 2 onwards
  17. So I paid for the live stream of the Pairs what’s happening do I get a refund?
  18. So is the Sheffield/Leicester leg of the pairs still being run ?
  19. I’d be more than happy with fast Freddie in the team - as I say Iversen been great for the club and British speedway but at 40 I think if Lynn seriously want to win the Premiership we need to look elsewhere.
  20. A couple of new faces needed I’d have thought - Iversen at 40 I’d have thought his time is over at Lynn - who the club can sign that’s another story depends who if any decide to return to British speedway in 2023
  21. I agree - years ago other than local radio there was no means of letting fans If a certain rider wasn’t going to be there - no excuse now with social media ( though I think Twitter and Facebook club account have died a death judging by the low amount of comments now ) but there is club websites - absolutely no excuse for fans being treated like mushrooms.
