The dog track isn’t the answer even if it was a a possibility it’s to near houses - a motor sports venue needs to be out of town as the Showground once was - as things stand the future looks bleak sadly -MT seems to me the best hope that a new venue can be found don’t see Buster getting involved in that he just wants a golden handshake for the licence then he’d be gone he might even see Pboro closing its doors as a golden ticket for KL to cash in on some Pboro fans each meeting .
-
Totally understand that - all I’m saying it could give some time to get a new track up and running - Pboro ex dog track I’d say is a no go with the houses all around it planning would be a nightmare. way I see it Buster needs to sell for Panthers to have a glimmer of hope to survive MT should be given a chance to get a new track up and running - new track dead in the water unless Buster sells . As for price in 6 months time value will be bugger all perhaps that’s what MT is waiting for
-
For it to work with Pboro racing at KL it be home meeting every other week so the track would have a home meeting every week Lynn one week Pboro the next and so on - bring into that stock car meetings someone would be very busy at the stadium. It might work for a season or two if a new track in Pboro was forth coming .
-
I’d agree with that - that meeting was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me so to speak .
-
R Worrall a definite upgrade on KK - probably not the signing many fans want but makes the side stronger- that’s if Ritchie wants to return he might put two fingers up at Lynn - maybe Sheffield might be interested in him as I’m sure I read there Polish rider is injured.
-
The positive he will score more points than Kk - but can see were you are coming from and agree with what you say about peed off Lynn fans
-
Looking at comments on the Pboro thread looking likely Ritchie Worrall going to be available it’s opportunity to dump KK

Panthers v Leicester - Bank Holiday Monday
Haza replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So how would season ticket holders and sponsors and even riders feel about this ? -
A PR disaster to be honest- far better to be totally open and transparent rather than trying to pull the wool over fans eyes - fans ain’t stupid they can see what’s going on
-
In this particular case they can postpone the news on Nicki P departure was so so predictable what would happen

So so overwhelmingly obvious what was going to happen can read them like a book lol -
What did I say lol so predictable read them so easy
-
My bet a press release later today saying the club made an early decision to call tomorrow nights meeting off as the weather forecast is rain all day so to save fans the journey we’ve made the decision early . Happy Easter to all our loyal fans

Feeder club lol think both Pboro and Lynn are feeder clubs for each other they basically use the same group of riders each season - definitely Buster should sell one or the other both clubs would benefit from a sale and include Alitt as a Pboro asset lol -
That is a very good point
-
As I’ve said before only way Holder will line up for Pboro is if the club is sold - that’s the only way it ever happen. So Tomalin needs to dig deep and buy Buster out both Panthers and Stars would benefit from this sale .
-
Personally I think KK thought one more season to top up his pension and along came Kings Lynn happy days we will milk that one especially if he’s on a guaranteed fee per meeting Lynn played straight into his hands
-
Totally agree- lack of communication or no communication is a total joke from the club - they bang on about selling season tickets but obviously they don’t do bad news - how Panthers save there season is the leading question
-
I agree - be better to spend the quoted 3k a meeting and keen young talent Zagar is neither .
-
Jorgensen pally pally with Alitt that’s why he’s in the side- I agree though with what your saying - question is who realistically who can be boroughs into the side ?
-
Can’t disagree with any of that - Lynn had a great opportunity this season to build a great side with Jackobsen starting average being low any team would have signed him in a flash - but the club has seemingly wasted that golden opportunity.
-
Unless they can come up with very lucrative sponsorship package we’ve got more chance signing Simon Lambert than Robert - why would Robert want to race over here ? He doesn’t need all the aggravation all the extra flights more equipment - if Lynn was to get him to return someone with very deep pockets needs to come forward to finance it .
-
Wonder if Kk fancies doubling up in the Championship lol once he’s got his average down which on present form won’t take long lol
-
On a different note who on this Good Friday morning wishes we’d Ipswich home and away ? ( under current form it might not be a good idea ) but with great weather both clubs would get bumper crowds those where days definitely.
-
The same logic was used signing Lewis Bridger I guess
