The only reason I can see why NKI wouldn't be back is the increase in fixtures next season what with GP Polish Swedish and Danish fixtures will he want more meetings over here that said he lives at Pboro and as others have said if it ain't broke don't fix it . Dead certs for the team I'd say are Rory and Nicholas after that who knows . I,m sure Buster and Rob are busy sorting out the 2014 team .

If I was a Witches fan I'd watch what's going on at Birmingham it not surprise me if they don't run next season everyone seems to be resigning if they don't run wouldn't surprise me if the Witches are asked to take there place in the EL .

I agree 100% and I,m a Lynn fan but am a regular at the Showground most weeks - the main thing is to find a new owner as any speedway fan should not want this club to die its one of the best race tracks in the UK and will be a massive loss to the EL in 2014 , as for the rights and wrongs of who owns or don't own the rider assets that's for another day .

It's a shame that Frost didn't put the club up for sale after the last home meeting and then there may have been a chance of finding a new owner to run EL speedway in 2014 - the main thing now is the club doesn't close a new owner needs to be found ASAP to run PLracing in 2014 .

As a Kings Lynn fan I,m saddened by the news as a regular at Pboro this is bad news for speedway we don't need any track closing I just hope a new owner can be found as if speedway ends it will never re open at the Showground - this is a very sad day .

I do wonder where we have gone to with points limits in the 1980s I seem to remember 50 point limit crowds was good most things in speedway was going well is it just a coincidence that the continued annual points limit reduction has seen the continued loss of fans that are attracted each week to watch . If the points limit hadn't been reduced each season maybe most of the worlds top riders would still ride over here and in turn the missing fans may not have been lost to the sport as well .

With Stockholm GP 27th September and I'd guess another GP two weeks later my guess is 2014 Golden Helmet will be 3rd 4th 5th October that the dates we have booked . Hope that helps ?

I thought this was a speedway forum ? I agree Prague is a great city lots to see and do cant fault what you say -but we go there to watch a speedway gp with good racing hopefully lots of passing when has that ever happened at the Marketta ? Parbudice is a great track =great racing

If I was Sky I'd not even consider doing a deal to show EL speedway I'd do a deal to show either or both Polish league and Swedish league all they have to do is take the live feed on a Sunday and Tuesday no setting up cameras and the like no paying out to set up everything for a rain off just take the feed from Poland and Sweden and see all the top riders in the world at I'd guess a fraction of the price .

can't fault Prague as a host City I agree there BUT isn't it 99% about the GP after all that's why we go to see a great GP with great racing I say again Pardubice would be a far better venue - Marketa = poor racing

After my resent trip to the Czech Golden helmet weekend the question I have is why oh why do SGP even bother with the Marketa ? Pardubice is a far better race track and Stadium - would be a far better venue for the GP
