  1. the big danger of holding a round in Australia either before or after the Western Springs GP is you could split your crowd would Aussies travel to Auckland if there was a GP in Australia ? Yes some would but my guess Western Springs crowd would be much smaller .
  2. You would hope a practice would be organised for this week at the NA for Schlien/Porsing / Lambert as are all coming into this meeting cold- Kerr and Rose have had some meetings for Newcastle . I hope this is the case .
  3. easy one to answer Bryn slick track =Lakeside EL Rye House PL
  4. British Finals on the first Wednesday in June packed stadium all of the stadium unlike last years British Final at Wolverhampton were Bill and Ben from Sky went on about Monmore being packed ? My first British final was 1977 when a very young Micheal Lee was crowned British Champion in those days all the 16 riders came from the then top league unlike to day half the field comes from the PL this is how far we have fallen . Wednesday night British Finals are the one thing I have found memories for also going to Brandon when my team Kings Lynn visited on Saturday night again big crowd all Ole Olsen had to do was stand near the pit gate and the Bees fans would applaud . Happy daze -
  5. and he's making a come back from a broken leg missed a big part of last season so give him a chance .
  6. wait till the Swedish League starts in early May live speedway on British Eurosport each Tuesday till October the worlds tops stars race in Sweden .
  7. it takes a very clever man one that's very clever like your good self to get it right everytime ok Buster didn't that time but then again he's not as clever as your good self do you no I had the same happen to me think it was Easter weekend we went to either the EL pairs or the ElrC can't remember which it was now we paid to get into the Poole stadium we spent money on petrol and a hotel that weekend did we get a refund ?
  8. I think some kind of official statement is needed from the Bees promotion ASAP riders and fans need to no what's happening , Neil Watson comes on here blowing the promotions trumpet but just where is he now ? When the s##t hits the fan ?
  9. ok I'm clutching at straws other option is the Bees are no more which way would you sooner go ? By how that statement reads carrying on at Brandon isn't going to happen .
  10. reading that statement that looks like that's it for speedway at Brandon - I still think the plan was to move to Pboro this now looks even more likely . Very sad day for British Speedway if this is the end at Brandon .
  11. As a Kings Lynn fan I'm saddened by the events of yesterday and I fear for the bees future - but this track problem was there even last season when the Stars visited Brandon the first time there was major problem on the 1st corner track staff seemed clueless on what to do to sort it even last season . This can't be the end of what was a great venue it deserves a better send off than this it's served the Bees and British speedway well over the years . As others have said it's not looking good and 3 seasons seem way over the time limit .
  12. what I'm saying even if the even if the stadium being used by other promoters ie in this case the Bspa the track man still does his job .
  13. Last Wednesday at Kings Lynn- team player management promoted Kings Lynn v Zielona Gora nothing to do with kings Lynn speedway team player management took all the risks on this meeting not the Chapmans but the one man that did the most laps Wednesday night was Buster Chapman he didn't just leave it to whoever .
  14. your a very cleaver man if you get everything right all of the time - I d say Buster gets it right 99times out of 100 we have the gear at Lynn to sort the track and most important Buster has the know how of how to use the gear one other thing most of the riders trust Buster .
  15. I laughed at you several weeks ago but now I think you are spot on .
  16. I agree with all you say BUT there is several things connecting both clubs and that is Mick Horton and his merry band , why operate two stadiums when you can do it out of one ? And if Sandu or whoever owns Brandon want speedway out there is a very easy way to do it as had happened over your last two meetings . Can see it happening in 3 years time anyway
  17. can see it happening why wait 3 years it s obvious what' will happen ok wasn't going to happen till Brandon closed in 3 years but it could be a lot sooner than that
  18. all home meetings to be held on Fridays at the east of England Showground you see as with the Xmas meeting switched to Pboro
  19. i can see bees switching to Pboro in 3 years time so why wait
  20. switch your home meetings to the East of England Showground might as well do it now as in 3 years time
  21. I shall be watching from the comfort of my arm chair with a few beers yes not as good as being there but I take comfort from the fact I've not spent £25 to get in I've not driven a 4 hour round trip and I,m not going to arrive home late when I've work the next day . So Sky Sports will do for me hope its a great meeting to start of the new season on TV .Enjoy
  22. Got a feeling it's going to be a tough first season in the EL for the Lions well done the Panthers
  23. and me I paid as well - wonder if Go Speed will offer the same service on line this season ? Polish league is such a wasted opertunity by TV companies in the UK it's the best league in the world yet no TV company has touched it over here either Go speed want too much money or Sky pay El Tel not to sell the polish rights to a UK based TV station in fear it shows how weak our EL is .
  24. simple answer is stand for £15 which is excellent value when a EL fixture at Lynn is £16 or the other option is don't go .
  25. Polish format programme Great meeting big crowd result unimportant what was pleasing to me was Kerr and Rose mixing it with higher standard riders which is good when they will face lesser riders in our EL also Porsing deserves a mention he was far better than points scored . I feel at this very early stage if we can stay clear of injuries we are in for a very good season .
