well there appears to be plenty of room to have extended the track and stadium on the site I find the track similar to Lakeside and Belle Vue two of the worst in the EL - if I was building a new stadium and laying a new track I'd do my home work first and visit a few track around the UK and get the best bits from all the tracks I went to for me a trip up the A47 to Pboro and then Kings Lynn would have done . Why also won't Hemsley listen ? Has he any speedway experience on laying new tracks ?
-
I've not been to many meetings at Leicester as I'm a KL fan that loves speedway - but I have been to the last two home meetings and have enjoyed them both as for the track to me it's just too slick there is dirt there but Glyn Taylor tyre packs it down all the time , I stood on the back straight last night just before the 3 rd bend there was a hole there that caused Ljung to fall - not sure what the answer is too the track shape but one thing I find amazing is why when you build a new stadium the track is the one thing you have to get right and yet it seems many feel it so wrong - who laid or marked the track out ? Didn't they visit Pboro or Kings Lynn to get ideas of what makes a good track ?

i,m a Kings Lynn fan and have been at Leicester the last two home meetings have to say I've enjoyed both meetings against Lakeside and last night Coventry I thought the racing was good in both . As for what you are saying about Mads I think he will score more away than at home Leicester isn't his kind track too slick talking of the track why is the track tyre packed so much ? It seem so slick , also had to laugh at Norrie Allen comments over the PA regarding the Lions team that shows he totally inexperienced at being team manager those comments will do nothing for team spirit . Overall have enjoyed both visits and will be back again for the Belle Vue meeting .

as a Kings Lynn fan I chose to go to the Showground last night instead of Perry Bar to watch the Stars and I thought it was a great meeting at the Showground some awesome racing as you mentioned Lewis Blackbird I was very impressed with him the track prep was spot on unlike it used to be regularly when the club was in the EL as you say a good crowd as well . This was my first visit this season and sadly will most likely be my last owing to the Tuesday night race night - bring back Friday night speedway to Pboro I say . -
PML your so funny
-
you make me laugh its pure sour grapes nothing more nothing less . yes that's be a great reserve with Doyel at 6/7 if rules allowed only problem Swindon would be closed down by June cus they couldn't pay there riders - so that would be a great move
-
so you'd be totally happy having helped to produce two riders like Kerr and Rose and then loaning them out to other clubs ? You'd be happy with that if that was your club ?
-
now that's were your argument falls flat on its face win at all costs ? So in Kings Lynn history how many EL or BL titles has the club won ? 0 that's how many so win at all costs fits in well with the club - yes we've won the PL twice , as I say if your team / club had helped to produced two riders like our 6/7 you'd be totally happy to loan one or both out to other clubs ? If you say yes to that question I think you've eaten to many Easter eggs . 2014 just might be the year of the Stars just maybe .
-
100% sour grapes pure and simple .
-
100% agree top post .
-
5 of this seasons side are club assets .
-
so if it was your team / club and your club had helped to produce home grown talent via the NL you'd be more than happy to loan the riders out ? I wondered how long it would be before the moaners started about Kings Lynn 6/7 - sour grapes springs to mind but why not have a word with your club and see about the possibility about your club running NL .
-
I agree there we are lucky owning our own stadium but I'd guess some NL meetings at Lynn don't always run at a profit - the Chapmans have put a lot of effort into the NL team and they are now getting some rewards for doing so . Thing to also remember is 5 of our 2014 team are club assets .
-
so it's Kings Lynn fault Poole and Belle Vue was losing money at NL leavel ? Kings Lynn have run a NL team for many season I feel at few comments on here based around Kerr and Rose is based on jealously pure and simple . Again others could have run NL teams but didn't - not Kings Lynn fault .
-
why shouldn't bees and Stars use there owns assets both clubs have spent time and money running NL teams whilst others could have but didn't .
-
just a shame we ain't got Pboro home and away like last Good Friday in the EL - yes EL is the League I like the most but I also like going to the Showground and if they was still in the EL I would have made a visits or two by now . I've been a regular at Pboro for several season now they are in the PL it doesn't hold so much interest but Panthers v Witches is as good as it gets .
-
well I won't be instead will be making my first visit of the season to the Showground for Panthers v Witches and Good Friday could well be my last visit this season owning to Panthers racing bloody Tuesdays who thought that up as a regular race night ?

Having seen Lakeside at Kings Lynn last Wednesday and Leicester last night the Hammers need some new faces PK and Watt need replacing both great riders in there day but there day has passed also why they stick with Bridger I really don't know he had one good race at Leicester last night , on the plus side Bech is very impressive this is the future for the Hammers .
