  1. Thanks for the help Says channel is offline but atleast i'll be able to watch it when (if) it eventually runs!
  2. I'm having problems getting the stream Every time I click on 'play' on the sopcast on p2p it opens a new page and says 'cant display web page' despite the fact i just downloaded and installed sopcast. And i can get the other one but when I click on TVP Sport it says not available in this region? So frustrating!!! Anyone got any ideas?
  3. FORMER Treble-winning Coventry skipper Scott Nicholls will be back at Brandon for Olly Allen's Testimonial meeting on Sunday, August 23. Nicholls, currently on loan at Ipswich, will be one of several top stars vying for the first prize of a new GM engine at the event. Also confirming their attendance are Wolverhampton duo Fredrik Lindgren and Tai Woffinden. Swedish star Lindgren is a current Grand Prix competitor, and he pulled off one of the rides of the season at Brandon earlier this month when he secured a dramatic draw for his team in the final race. Woffinden, meanwhile, is one of the sport's big rising stars tipped for a Grand Prix future - and the same applies to Poole's Australian ace Chris Holder, who will also be taking part. Several of the field are either current or former team-mates of Allen, with Brandon specialist Simon Stead having ridden alongside him at both Peterborough and Coventry. And a new name for supporters is Swedish youngster Robin Bergqvist, who will be making his first appearance at Coventry. With World Championship leader Jason Crump also involved along with current Buildbase Bees stars Chris Harris, Edward Kennett and Ben Barker - plus, of course, Allen himself, a terrific afternoon of racing is expected. Turnstiles open at 11.30am, the parade is at 12.45pm with the first race at 1pm sharp. The meeting runs over 20 heats and a Grand Final for the top scorers, and is followed by a disco and auction in the Under-stand bar. 4. Sorry guys that post was a little misleading. Martin won't be riding in the meeting, I've had confirmed.
  5. Martin Smolinski will not be riding. http://www.coventrymotorspeedway.com/ for latest news.
  6. Oliver Allen will be celebrating 10 years in speedway when he stages his testimonial meeting at Coventry's Brandon Stadium on Sunday, August 23. It will be a 16 rider individual event with 20 qualifying heats and a Grand Final. Already confirmed starters are: British Champion Chris Harris, fellow Bee Edward Kennett, newly-returned Ben Barker and Mr Testimonial himself, Steve 'Johno' Johnston, with more starters to follow in due course. Olly has represented Coventry, Peterborough, Wolverhampton, Swindon, Eastbourne and Kings Lynn in his time so hopefully fans from all clubs will come and support him on what promises to be a cracking day. For sponsorship opportunities please PM me and we'll go from there.
  7. I was at Ostrow and it was quite frightening at times! At one stage there were 1000 fans outside the pitgate and they charged through, only to be contained by police dogs. The police threw some tear gas at them and they caught it and threw it back! Coins, eggs and bottles were thrown over the fence and at the vans. We were locked in the pits for 2 hours!!! All 16 riders (Harris, King, Klindt, Risager, Nermark, Ljung, Jablonski among them) refused to ride an they have subsequently been fined 3000zl. The referee has been banned for three months and the clubs fined.
  8. Coventry 1-2 Well done boys, Bomber was awesome! Eddie, your time will come!

In the re-run Huckenbeck fell on the fourth bend, Haines ploughed into him and caught his bike. The German is OK, but Haines is still down. Haines is ruled out of the meeting. Has a cut on his face and his right arm in a sling. They think he has a broken collarbone! 2nd re-run Wells passed Courtney on the 3rd lap to take the win. Waiting for an Ambulance for Joe Haines, hence the short break. It appears Joe's injuries are more serious. His right arm and hand are in a bad way. The ambulance has arrived though, so we should be back racing shortly (3.22pm atm) Sponsored by Boxer123 Stamps bought & sold. 10. Wuffy had an average of 8.74 in the Swedish AllSvenskan last year, not bad really is it?!
  11. What does he have to do with anything? He's not involved with Britain My thoughts anyway, I am backing Eddie for this one. He's bang on form and goes well at WR, and coupled with the fact that none of the other contenders have had good starts to the season, I think it's Eddie's to win.
  12. Kajoch is very impressive. As always with Poles, he's got good kit and comes across as being very professional. Might be caught out with the size of the track, but will be there or thereabouts methinks. Good luck Ricky! Edit: Kajoch averaged 3.73 in the Ekstraliga for Leszno lasy year. Higher than Tai, Max, Schlein, Klindt amongst others.
  13. Why the hell does Nicholls get a place year on year?! Last year he only got in 'cos he knocked Bomber off in the run-off, and he has gone about 65 GP's without a win! He lacks commitment, and he will never win one due to the mental block he has developed. Bomber has had a disappointing year, but the talent he showed during '07 has not just disappeared. You don't pass Leigh Adams, Jason Crump & Greg Hancock in one race (that just happened to be the biggest of your life)if you don't have something a bit special. Bomber deserves this year to try and prove himself, but Scott has been a failure year on year.
