  1. Gotta agree with hazzman. Get Floppy in there instead of Richardson. And get Sullivan and Chrzanowski out as well. 15 for next year? in no order Rickardsson Jonsson Lindback Crump Adams Pedersen N Pedersen B Andersen Hampel Gollob Nicholls Hancock Norris Zagar Kasprzak Would have picked Iversen, but even Ole Olsen cant get 4 Danes in it!
  2. hehe, Tomas wasnt a wildcard choice by the Czech authorites, controversially. Then was given a reserve place. Cant remember why he didnt get the wildcard despite being czech champion. Tho i suspect he wouldnt get it this year for same reasons?
  3. Everyone has finished in 4th in at least one heat. Leigh Adams has not come last in a qualifying heat though
  4. After Eskilstuna I like the format Only disadvantage is that in Cardiff I am gonna lose my voice cos three Brits are definatly in it all the way to heat 20
  5. terrible... much easier for riders to make the semis! Only half the field are eliminated after 20 heats! No real sense of excitement in any heats because in 80% of them there was no 'do or die' situations. Much prefer the old format and believe this is a step backwards
  6. I'd appreciate a copy thanks steve. thaines@btopenworld.com
  7. Does anybody have an excel file of an individual meeting format (20 rider 16 heat) which prints onto one sheet?
  8. Line-up from www.speedwayworld.tv Ipswich's Robert Miskowiak takes the wildcard slot. Poole's Krzystof Kasprzak is reserve 1 and Adrian Miedzinski is reserve 2 1. (13) Ryan Sullivan (Australia) 2. (4) Leigh Adams (Australia) 3. (6) Tomasz Gollob (Poland) 4. (8) Jaroslaw Hampel (Poland) 5. (12) Scott Nicholls (Great Britain) 6. (10) Bjarne Pedersen (Denmark) 7. (16) Robert Miskowiak (Poland) 8. (5) Nicki Pedersen (Denmark) 9. (1) Jason Crump (Australia) 10. (15) Tomasz Chrzanowski (Poland) 11. (3) Greg Hancock (USA) 12. (7) Andreas Jonsson (Sweden) 13 (14) Antonio Lindback (Sweden) 14 (11) Lee Richardson (Great Britain) 15 (2) Tony Rickardsson (Sweden) 16 (9) Hans Andersen (Denmark) Reserves: 17 (17) Krzysztof Kasprzak (Poland) 18 (18) Adrian Miedzinski (Poland)
  9. I think your right regarding Gollob. Only 2 temporary tracks this season should suit him
  10. Garf, I was under the impression the Track Reserves will be local riders. So in theory there are 3 local wildcards in each meeting. One at 16 and two reserves. The reserve list is only used for riders withdrawing prior to the meeting?
  11. Could be an interesting one... USA we know are strong (despite losing Hamill to injury), Latvia will be strong on their home patch, the Russians will be strong if they have Povazhny and Darkin (last year they didnt) and France could be strong: 3 Tressarrieu brothers
  12. I was under the impression the starting positions (1-16) would be drawn out of a hat a week or so to each GP? Therefore the starting orders are random
  13. Would be great if somebody (BSI?) produced an SGP DVD box set. 1995 - 2004. I'm sure it would sell pretty well as the one meeting videos seem too. Would be great to see some of the action from the early years before i even knew the great sport existed!
  14. Wouldn't it be beneficial for Team GB or whatever they are called this week to do something similar?
  15. I read the rules but don't remember seeing what happens when there is a tie for a top 8 place to qualify for the semi-finals. Is it race-off/countback/riding number?
  16. http://world.speedway.org has it as will http://www.speedwayworld.tv
  17. I've heard there are 3 candidates, Eskiltuna, Malilla & Avesta
  18. AufSchalke Arena was the plan for last year I was told. But it never happened. Strange nobody has mentioned the ommission of Hamar from the calendar, no real suprise from what I have heard from people who have been there (lack of atmosphere etc..)
