  1. Polish appears to be about 30 seconds behind Sky, with Cegielski, Dobrucki and the lady trackside as a studio + Adam Scornicki and some other guy in the pits
  2. Personally I'd rather see none of them. The youngsters aren't ready and I wouldn't want to see their careers jeopardized by being put in the GPs too early. I watch the GPs to see the top 15 riders in the world battle it out, if the best British rider is number 16 then I'd rather see no Brits! Imagine the pressure from Sky if Tai was put in the GPs prematurely next year, i think Pearson would probably faint at the excitement seein as how over-excited he gets about the boy!
  3. I've got to say i agree with you steve on Scott, hes been in this so many years and continualy fails.... But at least Chris looked semi-gutsy out there tonight. A properly prepared Leszno might have suited Chris. But agree that neither are GP standard! As I've said in another thread I'd much rather see Hampel/Lindback/Karlsson/Iversen/AN OTHER out there full time, Hampel showed tonight he deserves a place (which he doesn't have due to politics and a very difficult qualifying series). Hopefully Richardson qualifies for Cardiff from the GB Final and shows both of them up (anyone who knows me well will say i'd never go for Richardson! lol!
  4. Maybe the pre-meeting entertainment should be Scott Nicholls vs the Under 15's this year... I know who i'd have my money on!
  5. "In need of more track time"... therefore its of his own doing! I'm not anti-Scott, but it is very sweet to see the British number 1 who turned his back struggling due to a lack of track time. But deep down I don't really think he'd be doing alot more if he was in the elite, he's just not good enough on the continent. unlike Richardson who as far as i know has good form in Sweden/Poland!
  6. Terrible performance from our 'number 1'... At least Chris looked like he was going for it most of the time. Absolutely nothing good from Scott all night.... I fear we are going to go into Cardiff waiting for our first British heat winner yet again!... Bring on Richardson/Woffinden/Bridger/Whoever to give us something to cheer about in Cardiff! Time for the Global Superstar to step aside and let the first reserve (Niels-Kristian Iversen) at least put on a show! As I said in an earlier post, numerous riders deserve a place over Scott and Chris!
  7. Must say, the Polish coverage (despite my total lack of Polish) puts Sky Sports GP coverage to shame. Live studio at both GPs so far, pre-meeting build up including one-on-one interviews with the riders prior to the weekend and during practice. And now post-meeting analysis with Dobrucki and Cegielski. Shame we don't have such extensive coverage in this country. (Awaits the 'be happy we have speedway on tv' brigade... but compare sky's coverage to rugby or football and its not on the same level... whereas the Poles appear to run a very professional and slick looking show for their GP coverage)
  8. its sad, but i'd welcome no british representation. If Hampel and Lindback for example had Scott and Chris' places then there would be two more exciting riders capable of winning a GP. Those are just two examples off the top of my head and I'm sure there are other riders people could think of. Of course people might start arguing the case for somebody better being in there for Ulamek/Walasek... but at least they qualified!
  9. Can someone confirm... is the tied places decided on heat wins/2nds/3rds or on when the riders met?
  10. Is that the same Polish Pole who just got interviewed by Polish TV in ENGLISH by the polish presenter? lol!
  11. i suppose its better than nothing... till he misses a heat lol!!
  12. yeh the dk4 stream is copyrighted... and mk3sport are showing football :-s
  13. can one of our polish friends please let me know what Transmisja Laczona means? having no luck getting a stream
  14. But the rider would be limited to 5 rides, so if used tacticly (using your top rider as reserve) it wouldn't make much difference to the results as that rider would only have had 5 rides anyway
  15. Build a bridge and get over it. Its boring trying to read GP threads without the same thing over and over! *YAWN*
  16. In case you didnt know, Scott has a broken collarbone.... you would never have guessed listening to one-line Millard! Credit Laguta trying and actually almost making it round the outside, but theres nothing there.... How many heats left? zzzzzzzz
  17. Bored watching this, track is atrocious! Wide open track.... but the rider who hugs the kerb makes up speed on anybody who strays offline! Ridiculous
  18. As was Cardiff 2005 i believe with the Crump exclusions
  19. Cant believe that, Matej isnt a dead cert qualifier and i suspect wouldnt want to be relying on a possible nominated spot. Where does it say this, theres nothing on the Bulldogs site
  20. How is that the same? TG team rode a russian to help his OWN team.... Andersen, if what they say is true was doing it to help Sweden
  21. Well done hans, likelyhood of a wildcard appearance this season.... nil likelyhood of SGP 2007..... nil Cos this PR wont please the boys at the top!
