  1. a)I don't have a clue what ur on about and your little joke is no longer funny b)This is a SPEEDWAY Forum, therefore your silly little joke is taking up bandwidth thus forcing the price of hosting up for phil
  2. I do hope so. PS - Rider number 16 is gonna win! The full line-up can be found at www.lubostomicek.co.uk Not sure if there are any changes to that line-up could anybody tell me if there is?
  3. Who is mr Kasprzak's replacement? Are the other 23 riders all present and correct as stated on world.speedway.org?
  4. Who is the second wildcard now Kasprzak is out. Will it be Szomberski or will it be the next reserve inline Povazhny
  5. 1st - Hampel 2nd - Harris 3rd - Szomberski (After run/off with Lindgren) 4th - Lindgren Well done Bomber!
  6. Jacek has an 8. average for Bydgoszcz second to his brother Tomasz with a 10. Prehaps Rafel Dobrucki is another one who deserves a chance. He started so brightly in the Poole qualifier but then completly lost it late on.
  7. I'd love to come and see the dumps whereever your from???!! Marketa a dump!? It's the best place to run a GP, it has the big city like you'd find at Copenhagen etc.. But also a proper speedway surface like Bydgoszcz. It's everything you want from a GP all rolled into one in my opinion. PS - Going back next year for my 3rd Czech GP.
  8. I've heard theres a decent young czech rider around....Tomicek's his name i think
  9. On www.speedway.org they have Lukas Dryml down as riding, can anyone confirm this?
  10. Isn't Isle of Wight a separate country as well lol France would be good with their interests in Longtrack etc. Spain has a long biking tradition, all we need is a Spanish rider (um) Italy has a biking tradition and always hosts qualifying rounds Germany, since my visit to the Olympic Stadium (5-1) I still think that a gp would be amazing inside that place! Russi then prehaps Mr Abramovice will pump his billions into speedway?! USA, why not!? Australia New Zealand
  11. Ibiza has a nice little footy stadium, from what I could see it had an athletics track and wouldn't be too difficult to put a track inside there. Talking about raising the profile - With these GP's in big Cities e.g Cardiff, Gothenberg, Copenhagen. How many locals who don't know about speedway find out about the event before the day? Prehaps having the World Champion *cough*adams*cough* and the top local rider with their bikes in the city centres a week before to advertise the event.
  12. Usual suspects lol. PK (Should be fit?) in for Cegla. Ronni P in for Lukas. Ales Dryml (23) & Josef Franc (24) are the wildcards. I'm just hoping for some very late pull-outs (Slovenia style!) so that Mr Tomicek ends up with the number 36 race jacket 8)
  13. The betting situation is a good one. Such a farce causes problems for everyone and should never have happened in the first place. PS - I've emailed a letter to speedway star regarding the fim rules and my scenario.
  14. The story gets better and better!!! Its a shame we didnt have Jonathan Green or someone in the pits in the thick of everthing that was going on!
  15. Wow, I made interesting points, I'm so proud of myself!!! If I were a rider who did badly next Saturday and lost the championship or my place in next years series because of it. Then I'd definatly be raising these points. Of Course the FIM appear to have made this desision to run next Saturday and they have the final say on everything. They appear to have used those little 2 words on themselves!! (PS - Can anybody guess those 2 words, I'll give u a clue, it begins with Sp and ends in tion
  16. As Race Director, Olsen is responsible irrespective of who actually did the job. That's true, if he wants the title Race Director then he is responsible for everyone below him (In the past he did think he had control of those above him however e.g referees Coventry and Sweden a few years back  )
  17. Yep so imgaine the scenario. Tony wins on Saturday, Nicki has an awful GP scoring 5 points. Difference = 20 points in Nicki's favour. End of Season. Tony wins SGP 2003 by 5 points to Pedersen. Nicki can now claim that the Scandinavian GP should be void and would therefore win. Note: Just using Tony and Nicki as examples.
  18. From www.fim.ch/en/rules/sportifs/ccp/gp/2003/03-regl cham monde speed_en.pdf To provide for postponements which may be neccasary, eg because of weather conditions, the FMNR or the organiser must declare 2 re-staging dates which MUST always be the two days following the original date of the meeting and notify these in the Supplementary Regulations.......(snip) If the meeting is postponed again and cannot be held during one of the two following days, then it will be abandoned. ------------ Therefore from what I can make out, there is no official GP on Saturday and if it is run then they breach the rules in that the SGP format is the property of the FIM. The Supplementary regulations (SR) must be issued at least 2 months prior to the event. Now from what i can understand these are the regulations etc. (i could be wrong) therefore if a re-staging date of 30/8 is not in the SR then there is no gp. Of course however, the FIM do have the power to change the rules cos, um, its their rules!
