Eureka I've got it lol! Regular 20 heat format. (Backwards so that riders seeded 1-4 meet in heat 20 instead of 1) Then a B final (5th to 8th) with riders scoring points 4,3,2,1 to add to their totals. And then an A Final with points 8,7,6,5. I ran it with speedway meeting and it works lol

It definatly works. If the points the rider scores in the meeting are those which go to their totals eg 15, 13. Then every point is vital and with only 15 riders in it all season they will all be going for the title as every point could be the difference between victory and loss. You'd need to change the first round of heats as you'd end up with the top 4 riders in heat 1 together. Prehaps when seeding the riders they go in an order like this. 1, 5, 9, 13?

Less riders to transport to gps outside of normal speedway countries. Its a great idea and makes it much more difficult to win as there will be 15 riders all in it to be world champion.

A simple way of doing it is indeed the 16 rider format. You could have 16 regular GP riders and the bottom 2 from the previous GP race-off with the wildcards, the top 2 take place in the event, the last 2 become wildcards. After the regular 21 (inc race-off was 15 & 16) have a semi final (3rd - 6th) with the winners meeting the top 2 in the final. Points in the final itself are added to the totals but doubled. This rider total is then how many points they scored in the GP. For example: Crump - 3,3,3,3,3,6 = 21 Rickardsson - 3,1,3,2,3,4 = 16

Haven't heard of it but it would solve all the problems the Elite League has as well as making the GP a more 'Elite' Group with 16 riders all capable of actually winning a GP. I'd say its a good idea. 14 regulars and 2 wildcards?

He was pretty pleased to beat Bo as well as beating Ondrasik and Franc in the overall standings. I really do believe Lubos can go far (I'm not being biased). He has the right attitude towards his racing and from what I could see against the Isle of Wight when he scored 7+3, the oxford fans have already taken him to heart.

My view is that if the German GP is in Berlin then a German rider shouldn't be needed as a large number of Poles could easily travel there. I also think that next season, riders shouldn't need to ride in both the qualifying and GP series. Instead, a GP challenge should be run with - 12 Non-Qualifying GP riders Next 4 From GP Qualifying meeting World Under 21's 1st and 2nd Top 6 Wildcards/Reserve riders from the GP series. As the biggest Speedway Nation I expect Poland to get two of these nominations. Most definatly Bajerski and Hampel, especially after Jarek showed what he could do in Bydgoszcz. I expect Sweden to gain another rider, especially with two GP's there this season. I expect that they will get one place which will be a battle of the brothers, however neither have shown their true form in the GP's this year but I don't really see anybody in Sweden who is ready for the GP's yet (Plenty ready in a few years tho). The next place is most definatly going to go to Lukas Dryml. Despite there being 2 qualified Czech's already. As for the final place, who knows! How about a meeting in GB during June at a proper speedway track. and then Cardiff as the season ender. Having 2 meetings in GB at Cardiff and Glasgow would force most fans to choose one or the other, thus halfing the attendance.

That's probably how I'd call it as well. Chorzow looks like a no no after a poor crowd this year and the extra proper track at Wroclaw makes it more of a balanced series. Munich would be my choice as I said but Berlin is more likely to get the nod because it is closer to Poland and therefore more likely to attract a higher crowd.
