  7. Myself and my friend Ruth are going on Saturday, thanks for the line-up links, was struggling to find anything. We enjoyed the handful of races shown at Belle Vue V Wolves meeting on 3rd Jul. We are interested in seeing a different type of motorsport and like the Belle Vue track and have friends up there which we will be seeng too.
  8. I would reckon Edinburgh V Plymouth will be the night before, does this mean the fixture deadline has been pushed back a week to include the fixtures outstanding. Also, Glasgow V Oxford needs to be fitted in as well.
  9. NEW DATE | POOLE vs BIRMINGHAM Following today's postponed Poole vs Birmingham Championship meeting, the two clubs have worked speedily in rearranging the fixture for Wednesday 30th August at 7.30pm Please note, all tickets purchased for the original staging are being refunded so tickets must be re-purchased for the new date
  10. Meeting is now postponed. Poole Speedway is taking no chances with the weather and have made the early decision to postpone tonight's (Wednesday 26th July) fixture against Birmingham and are presently working on a restaging date. Explaining his decision, Poole promoter Dan Ford said "we have examined all of the various weather forecasts and there is nothing to be optimistic about and we really don't want to waste people's time and money, so hopefully making an early decision will not cause too much inconvenience. It is a real punch in the guts for us as it is the first week of the summer holidays and we were looking set for a bumper crowd" All pre-booked tickets will be refunded in in due course. The Pirates next action is on Sunday (30th July) when they make their second visit to Glasgow in the space of nine days, this time in the quest for valuable league points.
  11. I'm coming with a group of Birmingham fans, so we all want to be together.
  12. Thanks for your help, sounds like they ain't fussed and don't check food. Wonder if Rory Schlein will be fit or do Birmingham require a different no 1 guest?
  13. Can you take your own food and drink into the Poole stadium. I will be bringing my own camping chair as rather sit down for most of the evening.

Fixtures neeing dates are: Leicester Vs King's Lynn (B) Peterborough V King's Lynn (B) Peterborough V Sheffield (A and Sheffield V Wolves (B) Wolves V Leicester (B) - mentioned in Programme last week September 4th, but no official info on website) Few issues with only 6 weeks left before the play-offs.
  15. Sheffield have 3 fixture issues now: Peterborough V Sheffield (a and b fixture) Sheffield V Wolves (b fixture) also KOC Final is scheduled for 4th September Wonder if these will be done before the play-offs? I was expecting this postponenement all weekend as the forecast has been terrible, track looks like a lake.
  16. Belle Vue V Leicester moved from Friday 9th June to Friday 8th September as James Pearson and both Thompson twins would of been missing due to the rearranged Scunthorpe V Birmingham KOC meeting. Good move now can attend both legs of this encounter. Full team hopefully for the new date in September. Will be at the home one on Saturday.
  17. That’s one reason I like the backstraight also get a start line view of the track as I bring my own chair. I presume the whole ground is open on national league nights?

  21. Looking forward to my first away meeting of the season for Wolves, 2nd visit here after attending the Ben Fund Bonzaza. Wolves have made a super start and have faith in them to take a close win this evening. King's Lynn have struggled away, may be different at their first home meeting of the season. I'm leaving just before 2pm, so hoping for it to stay dry for a great meeting.
