  1. I know you were When you have riders so young you always look for gradual improvement in them. So far this season, Heeps has shown definite improvement from last season which is encouraging.
  2. Fair point about the spill at Poole. Maybe I'm expecting too much from Rohan but personally bar possibly Heeps and Ellis, Tungate has the most potential and I'm waiting for him to really kick on. He's shown he's a talent and what he's capable of already so I'll always be disappointed with a 4 point return from him. Sorry.
  3. He's having one of his good confidence spells Been riding well here and in Denmark too. Long may it continue.
  4. Great point in the end and particularly well done to Cameron and Morten. Morten been in great form lately well done lad. 2 for Lanham?? He's had a couple of stinkers since his spill in the Star of Anglia is he still suffering any affects from that? Disappointing from Rohan too. He scores more for Poole in the EL!
  5. Impossible to predict this Witches team this year. We've been both very good and bloody awful at times so far this season so the result here is anyone's guess!
  6. obviously a sarcastic reply. SCB you've admitted yourself Risager is a confidence rider, is it so out of the ordinary that a promoter bigs up a confidence rider in the press? Pretty smart if you ask me.
  7. He fools some with the nice and nasty routine, but not all of us!
  8. Not today. I'm sitting in the golf pub garden with an ice cold beer a couple of hundred yards away and it's boiling :-P
  9. Good point hadn't thought of that. Certainly used to be the case but maybe things have changed.
  10. Line ups and preview here http://www.ipswichwitches.co/index.php/news-centre/637-lion-taming-required-on-monday Any Leicester fans on here planning on making the trip? Normally a very good away turnout from the Lions.
  11. I wouldn't bother. He/She will only revel in getting another bite.
  12. I'm not sure the extent of the defeat will happen again. I'm not saying it won't as people would delight in pulling this post back up in the future, but I'd be very surprised if last night wasn't our biggest defeat of the season. This Ipswich team really isn't that bad at all and I'm still more than confident it's good enough for a play off place. The Likes of Ellis will get better as the season goes on and a fit Heeps will help too.
  13. Louis clearly not happy with the "effort" of the riders last night. Say's they let both the team sponsors and the fans down and won't let it happen again. http://www.ipswichwitches.co/index.php/news-centre/631-witches-crash-out-of-koc
  14. 4 and 5 chipped in with points that gave us a draw at Scunthorpe. Just have to put today down as a very bad day at the office and move on.
  15. But it's this meeting we should be talking about, not previous meetings. I thought it was a strange comment to make too in all honesty and I also didn't see it as any major criticism. He'll surely be disappointed not to score from 5 rides no? It's not a dig, it happens and it'll happen again I'm sure. Jonny is this going to happen every time someone makes a comment that is not particularly favourable towards Adam? You really are in the wrong place if you are going to become irritated so easily in what I personally don't think is even a harsh point made.
  16. Good old Ipswich. Just when they raise your expectations and give you some hope they then knee you squarely in the nuts Well done to Workington on an excellent comeback mind.
  17. Decent enough meeting I thought. Certainly as good as anything seen on Sky this week that's for sure! Obviously I've seen better meetings but I thought there were moments of real quality.
  18. So does Doyle for Barker on this season's form. Last year you couldn't seperate them with a cigarette paper but Barker has started this season poorly by his standards.
  19. Come on 2 points from 6 meetings is bloody awful!! Tonight was tough for him yes but it's still zero points and the continuation of contributing absolutely NOTHING.
  20. I hate to keep talking about needing to axe a rider especially when we've just achieved a terrific result at a track we rarely do well on, but it's really starting to get frustrating. Just a single point would have done from him tonight. Needs to go. Other than that very encouraging start to our PL campaign. Apart from the obvious, nothing wrong with this team at all and a shoe in for a play off place if Makinen gets replaced.
