I agree it seems harsh to lose him as an asset due to being one match short of qualification.
Coincidence that he couldn't ride that final match or am I being cynical?
I wonder if someone else had a word in his ear..
I have to agree with the above, the financial side of things for the supporters never seems to have been given much thought.
To not have a family ticket STILL is poor.
Welcome Richie. Good start.
Interesting comments from Louis admitting that at times last year we didn't gel as a unit, and that he's determined that won't happen again this year..
I'd stick with the 8.64 on the BSPA site. The article on 365 also says that only Craig Cook and Ben Barker averaged more than Worrall in 2013, surely Jason Doyle did also??
That's speedway though I guess, riders come and go all the time.
This year we had Barker, next year we'll have Worrall, probably someone else in 2015.
I'm sure you'll sign a good replacement and put a competitive side together, you always do.
You'd think so yes but who knows. If Louis doesn't want him again this year then he wants his head tested. Ellis' average is only going one way and it isn't down.
He tweeted he was looking for a PL place, he never said he wouldn't be at Ipswich.
Still think he'll stay myself as it would be foolish to not want him after his "bedding in" year this year.
We'll see.
Worrall 8.64
Tungate 7.05
Risager 6.90
Heeps 6.74
Ellis 4.25
Hawkins 3.96
That would be my guess leaving up to 4.96 for the last rider. Palm Toft looks the only candidate on that average.
Personally I'd take out Risager and replace with Dak North on 6.55 leaving the 5+ needed for Manzares.
Yes you're right of course he would fit I worded that wrong, It's just that I can't really see it if the top 3 are Worrall (8.64), Tungate (7.05) and Heeps (6.74) as I think it might be.
Add Smith's 7.15 and you're looing at a pretty long tail unless Lambert is signed up. Just can't see it.
Plus beerhut makes a good point, if Smith was in you'd expect Lanham on a near identical average would have been in instead.
We'll find out soon enough.
Think it might well be. Solid signing if it is and not many would be unhappy I wouldn't have thought.
Rides Foxhall very well, but he's not going to be the number 1 announced tomorrow I wouldn't have thought and I'd fully expect Tungate and Heeps to be Witches again next season so Kozza wouldn't fit.
I thought that too although it's the No 1 and No 1 only being announced tomorrow according to Mike Bacon.
But yes If the promotion didn't know the 1-7 you'd expect they would keep their options open regarding Lanham and Ellis so they clearly know which direction they're going.
Mike Bacon has tweeted that the Witches number 1 will be announced in the Ipswich Star tomorrow.
One from Worrall, Allen or Lawson? I'll go for Ritchie Worrall.
