there are already , bunches of 2 bit amateurs running meetings off the back of speedway . flat track short track or whatever the rubbish is called this week , the dirt track series which is just grasstrack in speedway stadiums , and the biggest leech of all the GP's all merrily making a quid while the promoters run at a loss to keep the riders and facilities open for them , It doesn't suprise me one bit that Leicester have announced they are not running round 1 . why would they want to risk their success and future aspirations by going against the association they are members of to let some carpet baggers make an easy buck ?

There will be a new track record in heat 1 . provided (dare I mention it ) the promised track alterations get done , so whoever is the current T.R holder shall remain so forever ,

Great Idea , shame it doesn't count for the away match of the season ticket holder as this would probably attract a few extra to cover the reduced cost and create a good atmosphere which would make attendance for the home fans a better experience , this should apply to all tracks ,that would make a season ticket a more attractive proposition . it's the Hemsley factor again , if they take all their buildings all that will be left of BP is the track , the pits and the refs box . I have heard that a potential Saudi Arabian benefactor may be stepping in to help out ,apparently since they have become oil money rich, they Live in house so they have no use for their tents!!!

Leicester was built by volunteers except for the skilled work like bricklaying . I know there's not many who would help out a business for free but at the end of the day Stoke speedway is your club and if you want it to continue and even get back into premier league one day , why not get some work parties together to do something about tidying the place up I'm sure Dave Tattum would be glad of offers to help . I did not realise it was owned by a bookmaker group and as such that would be a source of worry for me , almost as much as the huge buildings that are starting to surround the track ,one day they will open the rolling shutters and simply swallow stoke speedway whole .

most of the Lions riders are not even in the country let alone Leicester . even the british ones are in Australia

you can still do the test at BP .but instead of your dog just use Neb or Mrcts if they dont approve they will definitely bite them .
