  1. I thought it was best to ignore me as I'm a time waster ,
  2. What i expected is exactly what they delivered . Had they been a couple of lads ready for National league reserve berths I might have expected them to turn up with at least one clean bike in a mechanically sound condition capable of arriving at the tapes running and within the allotted time for their programmed races . Then as a bonus I would have expected them to complete their races without falling and finish in a scoring position , if that was not possible to at least finish within a reasonable distance of the riders in a scoring position . not unrealistic expectations of national league standard riders i don't think .
  3. absolutely correct , and I went to the bank this morning and set up a direct debit to him for £40 a week to thank him . others have shown their gratitude by buying season tickets , The difference is those with season tickets feel obliged to turn up week after week to watch the processions since that is the object of a season ticket , where mine being a charitable donation I can simply go and watch speedway RACING elsewhere safe in the knowledge that speedway such as it is ,is alive in Leicester thanks to the Leicester Promoters , 3 ,I think at the moment unless there are more Idiot lorry drivers who have come on board recently
  4. well done Sam and Adam you more than exceeded my expectations .
  5. Sam Woods or Adam Kirby = Darcy Ward
  6. The debate rolls on and meanwhile the trucks continue to roll in , Building mount Beaumont @ £55-120 per load . 20 loads, More than covers the cost of the radical changes needed to at least have a chance of decent racing , or maybe St David is paying them to tip?, So that eventually Mount Beaumont will block out the sun and there will be no need for sun breaks . Cant fault him for that really the fans weren't happy with the sunbreaks so he has done something about them
  7. Wow that's got to be the best signing made in the national league so far this year , and with Adam Kirby at no 6 i would think all the other teams are quaking in their boots . can't make my mind up which one will be the first into the record books of this new era
  8. There are only 5 or 6 who post on here who are still interested enough to bother even thinking about it . there are far more who no longer post or in fact no longer go to speedway at BP , It does make a change though to see someone actually post a realistic crowd figure , If Dave Hemsleys offer is genuine that he would be prepared to lease the speedway promotion out and that offer will be made including reasonable rent and usage terms , then I don't imagine it will be long before a new promoter takes over the running of the Lions , don't hold your breath though because i dont think for one second that the offer is anything more than posturing from him .
  9. Thanks for the information here TMW , but it falls a little short in some respects . there is no Info on Toilets , How many urinals per head of expected crowd ? and no info regarding the track I.E. track length ,improvements, preparation and the likelihood of viewing some spectacular racing similar to that offered by other such venues , I'm sure it would be appreciated by a few posters on here if you could do a little research into these matters and post it for general information , I have heard there is someone from the northeast who posts on these threads regularly who despite only having visited BP once or twice knows everything there is to know about the place , maybe you could PM that person and relay the information on here for those who are not quite so knowledgable .
  10. What are you on about ? the reason the team is not performing is the loss of Adam Roynon, it's hit them a lot harder then they are letting on in 2 hours at Scunthorpe he became such an integral part of the lions set-up and without him the others just cannot perform ? they needed Adams help and encouragement because they are all inexperienced at the sport especially Doolan and Nieminen , I just hope they can manage until he returns In a couple of weeks
  11. you can get it from the burger van at Britains newest track !!
  12. Maybe you should have asked the Sheffield riders to slow down a bit or miss the gate then there would have been more passing , come October I have a feeling it's more likely the Tigers will be king of the P.L. jungle than the Lions
  13. Any chance of getting Dave Darcy on the show ? I'm sure we could all do with a good laugh in these trying times .
  14. Theres a lot of facts getting posted on this thread today, they all seem to be coming from the same source though, Is it a forum rule that only 1 person can post facts ?
  15. A rather dissapointing post for me this , you have given Tsunami a get out of jail free card by asking if it was a wind up , of course he will now try to claim that it was all a wind up , after initially running off at the mouth trying to look clever blew up in his face ,
  16. They say you cannot Polish a turd but that is a damn good attempt . of course everyone will take your word for every sentence ,because with your Frequent visits over the last 2 seasons you would know better than anyone else how everything functions on racenights , shame you didn't go for a little more of a light hearted stance .since almost everything you have alluded to is fiction and rather than come across all clever etc, you have merely shown how little you actually know about beaumont park and the running thereof , but dont let that get in the way of you posting some more jokes for us will you , 6 million quid that was a good one for sure
  17. I'm afraid I have to agree with mrcts on this one Robert , this is not the place for discussing speedway , or having a bit of fun FFS , it's the British Sh1thouse forum . if you can't stick to guessing how long the queues will be or if there will be leaks and insist on going off topic rambling about speedway , I will have no alternative but to report you to the moderators .
  18. You could well be right , but the new toilets ...............
  19. What would Lewis' paycheck be from Scunthorpe ? what his his score at Leicester ? seems simple enough for me , the engine will pay for itself in about a month , high scoring reserves get all the guest rides
  20. Right ho everyone , you have been told , so pick from that list above or stop posting , The special ,"Content Moderator" has appointed themselves and anyone who wishes to debate outside the approved list will be banned from these threads
  21. The new toilet block meets All the requirements of the SCB rule book for 2013 , In an effort to level the playing field the old toilet block was deemed far too posh for British Speedway patrons , the new toilets have been built in accordance with SCB specifications and with materials supplied by Gospeed recommended suppliers . I must admit the Briggo splash protectors are very effective at the urinals , I queued for 15 minutes after drinking 5 pints and standing outside in the cold and still came out with dry shoes !!.. the leak in the ladies is a standard leak purchased at considerable expense form Gospeed and in accordance with rule 21b subsection 2 a . the toilets passed BSPA inspection just before the opening match and it is testament to the quality of workmanship that the only advisories were , that there were too many lightbulbs and far too many toilet rolls , these have now been removed and the toilets are full SCB spec. as a side note I heard that the previous toilets were the reason Leicester were refused entry to the Elite league this year and the BSPA are hoping that after a full season of abuse and vandalism the new block will have fallen to a standard acceptable for the teams inclusion in the Elite league in 2014
