Doesn't look like he would be too bothered if it was lost again and I'm afraid there a lot like him as well . During the honeymoon period the promotion had the chance to listen to the wishes of a healthy crowd, unfortunately they took their support for granted and carried on doing as they saw fit ,regardless of the rumblings from the terraces , Many like Bornagain stayed away after 2 seasons of processional racing and various fallings out behind the scenes . the promotion are now faced with an uphill battle to try to win back the lost support .The current economic climate means that the great unwashed analyze their disposable income and insist on maximizing the value of every pound , Leicester are now in the same position as all other speedway clubs in as much as they are down to the hardcore now that the crowd has dropped to it's natural level . And now, financing the changes that may bring some of the stayaways back is increasingly difficult on a budget that is just about breaking even . the next few weeks should see the best crowds while the other local sports are on their all too short summer break , so lets hope lessons have been learned about the track preparation and also how to air your dirty washing in private .. -

I said I need not comment further as I would let Adams performances speak for themselves and he has responded most favourably . How did Sam Improve in his last 2 rides ? would that be by beating Danno Verge twice in two 3 rider races ? agree Kingston did well though -

I'm wondering if the reports of fantastic racing at the last meeting along with the Ipswich meeting and one or 2 not so bad will be enough to entice some of the stayaways back . one notable would be Bornagain Lion who is still a potential regular customer but has not been attending because of the poor racing . are you out there born again ? let us know what you have to say -

In what respect would you like Kent Kings to play with a few extra points ? -

Just thought I would bring this back to the top , I know there's some who still have points to debate and a couple of trolls who will want to get it shut down . either way there's still some mileage in the thread, -
Russian woman would be expected to know about speedway in depth much the same as she would be expected to know about Morris dancing that's all . And it would appear that you see no harm in her having an input , so no more to be said really everything is rosy at Leicester speedway and no need for further debate ,

Thats correct but like all women talk first learn second , first thing she needs to learn is to keep her mouth shut for the sake of her husbands business . The Bspa probably took him at face value .but those who knew him from his cycle speedway days knew what he was like , unfortunately amid the euphoria of a Lions return after 28 years very few of his new acquaintances could see the real Hemsley . some still defend his appalling behaviour now and continue to delude themselves that he is the only and best option, that is far from the truth at present but for how much longer before Leicester speedway is so run down that no-one will take it on and use it's obvious potential to take it forward ?.

Absolutely bang on , Why shouldn't Julia Hemsley have her say , In fact on a similar theme why not have a competition in the local paper to be team manager for the evening or track curator , these speedway riders think they have a right to do as they please. Just because they are risking life and limb and have reached a high standard , They think they can just do as they please regardless of any advice given to them by a russian woman who knows as much about speedway as the checkout girl at Wilko ,

So there you go The Abbott 99% of the Redcar supporters voted for you to pay a "Donation" towards the safety fence , no need to stay away on principal now

Whose fault was it then ? because as far as I'm aware when a rider fails to be proceeding towards the tapes under power and by the shortest practical route , they get excluded for breaking the 2 minute allowance , . although in this instance ,since you have said you were in the pits I assume the failure to make the 2 minutes will have been down to your incompetence -

Strangely enough I have never heard you say anything of any substance or that requires a modicum of original thought , you're more of a try to find fault with others original thinking and personal attacks type of poster , but it takes all sorts and you are definitely one of a sort . have you in the course of your work ever met Krusty ? -

unfortunate That !! as with the updates only being on the Kings page , I much prefer the updates site where unbiased comments can be read , and a proper report on progress can be read heat by heat , and not half arsed leave it out because it doesn't look good reports ,like on Kents twitter page -

Well at least I took the time to reply even if you didn't like the truth I posted , surely it's better for Kent Speedway that I post something for you to try to make a defensive reply to ,than the total apathy shown by all the other forum members , -

Theres not really a lot to say , Kent will have possibly the biggest thrashing so far . Sam Woods will scrape some 3rd place points Adam Kirby (if He's Fit ) will crash in 3 races out of five and most likely break down in the other 2 , Steve Boxall will score 50% of the Kings total , not many people will turn up to watch owing to a 6.30 start time and Zero chance of Kent winning , on a brighter note uncle Len is planning another challenge for Kent to win , "The Tuna Fish trophy" . Len and his puppet Sampford have carefully assembled a team from the support class at a dragons meeting ' a quality team built to ensure enough of a challenge without demoralizing any of the Kent team should spark some interesting debate !! -

They may well have all agreed to quit , then the ones who have no other source of income backtracked , no surprise there, particularly as one is an Aussie , Mrs Hemsley is now wearing the trousers !! haha a Russian without any clue about speedway , behind every clueless Automoton is an even more clueless woman -

Newport is a good choice for similarity on quite a few points , very similar promoters (although I believe Hemsley to be a fair bit more wealthy than Tim Stone ) Losing sponsors who are putting large amounts into the club through total arrogance , a poor racetrack in relatively nice surroundings . By the time the Malletts took over at Newport and started to rectify some of the faults ,although they had a few of their own . It was too late . the crowd had fallen below MVP and extinction was inevitable . speedway's Limited appeal meant that almost everyone interested had at sometime attended and for various reasons had chosen not to return , so in the end Newport's demise was inevitable . Leicester are into the downward spiral and have the added millstone of other successful sports teams pitching their wares to the same populus something which Newport did not have . it's not too late for Leicester just yet as it's location makes it easily accessible to support from other teams , but they will only attend if they are going to be entertained which currently they are not, however at this point providing decent entertainment would bring them back and help to stem the tide , certainly 72's repeated postings re the track make him sound as repetitive as a stuck record but I believe this is borne from concern rather than animosity , certainly no worse than the constantly abusive posts by some or the silly sit back and listen to the band while the ship sinks in icy waters posts made repeatedly by a few . suggestions that supporters should raise funds for track alterations are a waste of time , by now I should think everyone would have have gathered that David Hemsley thinks the track is fine ,so why would he alter it even if someone else paid ? better use of time and resources would be to buy a Tractor and some decent shale . at least that way, there would be a chance of good preparation providing some of the lacking entertainment without having to deflate Hemsleys ego . -
