  1. one encouraging thing about all this is the amount of newport supporters posting on this forum .if this is an indication of the interest in that area for newport speedway then the future looks bright once newport is up and running again
  2. Bspa should be doing everything in their power to assist the smooth return of speedway to newport for the good of all ,but unfortunately it does'nt work like that. If you are not a member of the old boys club at the bspa .
  3. Theres no Brighton this year so december is free , Christmas Cracker anyone?
  4. snapper can't hear you he's emigrated to the USA
  5. I agree a line up of nobodys apart from joe of course ,after all neils years in speedway i would have thought the line up would have been much better than this .all the teams he rode for over the years must have thrown up some bigger names than this, what about stoney ,and johno from long eaton for a start? These riders and short track in the interval won't tempt many out of their armchairs on a sunday evening in october .
  6. Yes i must admit it was a bit harsh ,After all the short track boys have done so much for speedway in the last couple of years .With all the new venues that they have helped to open and all the practise facilities they have found and shared with us ,I should be thanking them not thinking that they are taking all that they can get from speedway and putting nothing back .
  7. I was looking forward to this until i saw short crap had been added to the line up. Neil Collins definitely deserves a farewell meeting as he has been a great servant to the sport (SPEEDWAY) so who's idea was having the sh*t track cowboys i'll have to sit this one out so they don't think i came to watch them
