  1. Shame when all is going so well . a decent team in place and track alterations promised that the attitude has to raise it's ugly head once again , please enlighten us all with your explanation of why you think any scapegoat is necessary or why leicester speedway or the few supporters who cannot see that they are just a small cog in a much larger machine need explanation of the decisions of promoters who have been around in speedway far longer than their own . I think it's fairly obvious myself they did not want leicester in the elite league this year and may reconsider next , no conspiray ther and no explanation neccessary
  2. sorry you couldn't see the sarcasm in the post , but then of course you wouldn't get it would you , because like quite a few others you have only just jumped on the bandwagon, and were not interested in leiceter speedway at the time of Hemsleys first foray into track design
  3. I hope he does . Otherwise the track will not get altered . With any luck he will have a brothers wedding to attend
  4. Well lets just leave it that for now then . and In one or two days time we'll see if you know as much as you would like everybody to think you do !!
  5. no that's you !!unlike yourself and WiE-JA I can work out that since up to yesterday there was to be a practise on the 9th of december but because the MX mob cant remove their track after their meeting on the 2nd this has now been cancelled . does'nt take a genius to work out this was not factored into the deal or why would leicester promotion have taken a booking for a practise session . still that would require a little intelligence to work out and removal of your blinkers . so you and Wie-ja can be forgiven
  6. Practise now cancelled MX cant remove the track in time . shrewd bit of business that .rent a track for 2 days off someone Naive and prevent them using it for whats it's meant to be for, for 6 weeks
  7. Thank you for this post . it's an absolute classic in the style of ." I take it " of course you do and like the other 6 that's the problem . you take it rather than read and take on board what something says and form an opinion . you" take "whatever your pitiful victim culture makes you see , if you cannot accept that someone may have a different opinion to yours then at least dont show your arrogance by telling them not to post on a public forum . who do you think you are ?absolutely typical of a small section of leicester supporters you think you are so high and mighty that you can join a public forum and then tell longer standing members what they can and can't post .
  8. Oh such rapier wit . I'm cut right through .. hahahahahaaaa
  9. TBH I'm most surprised to see you actually admit to that . now if you could get some of the other blinkered Lions fans who post on Leicester threads to adopt a similar attitude maybe some of the more open minded leicester fans may come back . that would make the threads a lot more interesting than just the 6 or so regulars who post the same defensive and boring rubbish every time someone posts with a different view .
  10. Have you got £40 . then there is space . i have never in 40 years seen anyone hold out cash and be turned away from a speedway practise .
  11. Time for a different reply , this one is worn out ,don't think it up yourself though get someone who has more than 1 brain cell to help you .
  12. Just had my greatest races at BP since the Scunthorpe shale was put down DVD . it.s an absolute bargain @ £1 plus postage . only single camera though but still good value for a 2 minute long video
  13. once again failed to read the post . the track alteration part was a reply to someone who was trying to intimate that altering the track during the season was not allowed . it is and has been done at several tracks , but you choose to read the post differently . nothing changes does it shoot your mouth off before engaging brain . par for the course with you . no reasoned argument just start mouthing off and looking for sympathy
  14. Thanks for the predictable replies from the usual everythings rosy at Leicester brigade and the insult from the usual source. do any of you ever read what is posted before you start begging for sympathy ?. or is it just that you don't have the intelligence to read and take on board what has actually been written and do something unusual and form an opinion of your own . anyway enough time wasted trying to debate with the hypnotised . enjoy the Leicester threads without having to hear anything there may be some truth in all 5 of you . and remember if you dont post anything your threads will drop off the bottom of the page and posters from other teams will start to think nobody is interested in Leicester anymore . it's better to post some fantasy that you believe is the truth like the track could not be altered mid season than to post nothing
  15. That thought had not really crossed my mind so much as the one that said changing the track would pay for itself and they couldn't afford not to change it . my original reply was to Volty's suggestion that Leicester are a forward thinking club. IMO they are not. if the were they would have looked to the future and provided a sound footing for the clubs future by creating a track that provides entertainment and keeps not only it's own supporters coming through the gate but also crossover support from other teams . just like many other Posters who are Leicester supporters you choose to bolster your arguments with untruths . it was not wasteland or disused at all it was a piece of level parkland and Leicester speedway started with a very nice blank canvas and have turned it into a wasteland . never mind cut the guy a bit of slack if no-one had made mention of the crap track would Dave Hemsley be proposing to change it now . so it's a good job that some people made him aware of their displeasure instead of cutting him slack and allowing him to fiddle while Rome burned . Time you and a good few more stopped coming the we're a new club plea and look how well St David has done it's well past it sell by and is no substitute for reasoned and factual debate !!
  16. Heres some facts for you !!!. The leicester promotion have known for 2 seasons that support has been drifting away because of the tracks reputation for crap racing and has done nothing about it , that is not forward thinking .........Fact .. The elite league is struggling because of the Gps ruining the continuity of their fixture list and the expense of trying to employ the top riders ....Fact.. there is no pot of gold from the Sky money . by the time the crooked gospeed have taken their cut from it it barely covers the losses generated by stay at home and watch on TV supporters ...fact ... Wie-Ja is blinded by his defensiveness of Leicester speedway and too thick to see what has actually been posted ..........Fact oh and while we are about it fails to read posts and take on board what they actually say before posting his usual Braindead rant !!!
  17. What club is this then ? Can't be Leicester because they are so forward thinking that they have not invested the small amount to alter their appalling track that would have kept a significant amount of support thereby securing the clubs future . the only short sightedness about Leicesters application to Join the Elite league is their own .blinded by a non existent pot of gold and too short sighted to see that the extra expense and the disruption to their fixture list will further alienate the supporters ,
  18. yep shows what you know about speedway , Glyns engines will get him going alright .......straight down the pan , Ryan Fisher ef , r, 0, m.,0,
  19. I'm sure Main Man will be writing a full review of the MDL season In good time , but in the interim I have taken it upon myself to write one for all those who are interested In the MDL , Let me Just start by saying Dan Greenwood , Dan Greenwood , Dan Greenwood, Dan Greenwood , Dan Greenwood , Dan, Greenwood Dan Greenwood , Dan Greenwood , Dan Greenwood , OH have I forgotten anyone . of course the MDL would not be the MDL without , Dan Greenwood Dan Greenwood Dan Greenwood .. If i have forgotten Dan Greenwood I'm sure Main Man will more than make up for that in his full review . Looking forward to next season already watch this space for some more Dan Greenwood
  20. Coming to the end of the second season now and Leicester promotion might just as well hang on to their money , the track changes are 2 years too late , the initial crowd has been lost and the new support won't be seen again . Leicester has become just like all the other new tracks the crowd has settled to just about break even level and after missing out on early opportunities will carry on slipping towards the precipice , I would say some of leicesters downfall has been caused by the posters on these very threads Except of course Robert72/jackson2 because they tried to paper over the cracks and bullied anyone who would go along with the everything is rosy train of thought , Well stand up and take a bow you have succeeded in convincing the Emporer that his new clothes are Awesome which they clearly are not !!!
  21. Only in your head am I having a go at Leicester for anything. Also nice try with the Cardiff analogy but I'm afraid that's something else only you can read into the post . Would it hurt you physically to accept occasionally that some of the things Leicesters promotion try don't work ?. And being new to speedway have to learn from mistakes because they wont listen to advice from more experienced promoters , Second largest of the season eh? I happen to know for a fact that it was not . in fact it was nowhere near and it was only just above the break even figure . but with your clouded vision I can see why you would think it was .
  22. I don't either Gemini . the 45,000 at Cardiff must have gone for the interval entertainment , The usual suspects are on here making excuses why the attendance was poor .Why they have to defend everything Leicester speedway does right or wrong is beyond me i don't suppose it has occurred to anyone that a track with a reputation for poor racing and a rubbish line-up was hardly going to tempt people to divert from their journey home after spending the weekend watching the worlds best in exciting surroundings
