  1. I certainly won't be passing any money over to Buster, the racing just gets worse. Adrian Flux Arena is an awful awful race track.
  2. No Robert Lambert was not a product of the NL. Lambert only rode in the NL because he was to young for the top 2 leagues. He was trained and developed in Germany.
  3. Are you watching the racing?? It's awful, if there's no value for money on offer I'm not going to just throw it away. I want enjoyment for my £18.
  4. If the meeting gets abandoned Poole will only be 2 behind again. Better for Poole to call it off
  5. I didn't know until a couple of weeks ago but you can now use IRR when you have R/R
  6. It does look like King's Lynn have thrown down some extra dirt, most struggling to turn in the corners when behind.
  7. Are you serious, meeting abandoned and start from 0 again in the rearranged meeting after being 8 down currently and you don't see how calling the meeting would benefit Poole
  8. I get the feeling the Pirates management are gonna play out for time and bring the curfew in to effect.
  9. Totally disagree with you. Bewley rode 5 matches compared to Lambert's 18 in Poland. Then you have to consider the matches Bewley rode in. The 2 meetings v Krakow, no established rider's in the opposition so doesn't give a true reflection of his average. His Premiership average isn't much to shout about, saying he'd be No1 at Poole is nonsense. His Premiership average is because of his superb home track. When his Championship average is 6.79, that's not an average of someone who's "made it" in any division. Dan Bewley is still a million miles off "made it". A good talent, excellent prospect but not up to standard as yet. Plus we've yet to see how he'll come back from a big bang. Sometimes rider's don't recover from them.
  10. There lies the problem for British rider's. If fans blow smoke up their backsides and say they've already made it on a less than 8 average they'll never progress. Bewley is nowhere near "made it."
  11. To me the NL kind of doesn't exist. Not as a true league anyway. The NL is simply a development league and should only be looked at in that fashion. Isle of Wight is a developing club which looks to have the ambition to step up in the next few seasons. The way I look at the NL is a bit like Sunday league footballers. Try very hard to look professional but perform like donkeys.
  12. Be interesting to see where Summers turns up. Will he be mechanic again in the pits for Belle Vue??
  13. Riss and Jorgensen have really gone off the boil a bit I agree. If they're the same tonight we're then relying on Simon Lambert to turn it on. Even 16 points from MPT wouldn't save us. If Robert has a duff one we'll need Iversen to come to the party and he's been inconsistent at home. If Belle Vue can hit us early again then that may rattle the home side. Regardless of the teams, Play-Off Speedway throws up a random result now and again. If the Stars go into this meeting thinking it's done, they'll be beaten. We need to go into this meeting early on like the scores are 0-0.
  14. I don't know why but today I have a bad feeling about tonight. I think Belle Vue will turn this over. Fingers firmly crossed we do make it. COME ON THE STARS !!!!!!
  15. Poole will win this comfortably if they don't race Doyle. Let him get his 15 point max and just target his partner. Doyle isn't a team man so won't get involved if his partner is in trouble. The target has to be 3-3 every Doyle heat, anything better is a bonus.
  16. I'm assuming he's on about Matt Ford leaves
  17. Twice, more like 3 home 3 away, ko cup as well with top 4 Play-Offs. So that's facing some teams up to 6 times in a season. Thrilling stuff
  18. So who are the others? You yourself have only mentioned 4 clubs that want to maintain or better the product. So, who are these others you talk about??
  19. Some of the best times as a Speedway fan for me has been in the second tier of British Speedway. I'm not all that bothered by "star names" as such but what I don't want to see is rider's expelled from British Speedway because some can't afford them. The door should always be open for them if they're prepared to accept the wages and promoters are willing to pay.
  20. Bigger league I agree, but certainly not just 1 big league.
