Kerr is also 5.36 with 2.5% reduction. Then the choice will be who goes reserve, I think they'll put Kerr there to help him after his injury layoff.

Andersen will be alongside Kerr. The worst reserve pairing in the league

BSPA Message to Fans (imo)
Daniel Smith replied to wealdstone's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Exactly, people that buy them are tapped. It's not like stadiums are ever a sell out -
The logic is they were excellent (i.e. an improvement) on what we had before in 2018. Now these rider's will be alongside those they replaced in 2018 thus making the whole makeup of the side very very poor. Makes perfect sense.
-
Understand your optimism but man for man, our predicted side isn't comparable. Can only see us battling for the Wooden Spoon
-
That's how online adverts work. Your interest is Speedway so you will see those adverts when advertised on line. To any general bod out there who's never clicked anything to do with Speedway will never see those adverts. It's just advertiser's preaching to the already converted.

It's not a case of ignoring 2018 at all. Yes PUK had a poor year average wise he still regularly delivered when it mattered in heats 13 and 15. From the start to the end of the season Iversen and Lambert pretty much swapped averages. The gains came from Proctor adding over a point. Realistically, could he do that again? Of course but unlikely. Jorgensen's average stood still in 2018 People are saying MPT is a must but his average was also stagnant from when he signed, this including time at reserve. Riss average stayed the same in his short period with the team but I do expect his average to rise being with us from the start of the 2019 season. Andersen can't be any worse than his less than 3 average but I can't see an improvement on his assessed 4. Kerr won't improve much but is consistently good to excellent at home which is most important, especially in a meeting over 2 legs. I think Kerr in both finals was missed more than Toft. -------------------------- Apart from Riss, I just don't see where the improvement is going to come from? With the predicted line-up there certainly isn't any back-up for Lambert in heat 13 & 15 compared to other 1-7's. The back end of meetings are hugely vital in securing results. Yes we did finish top of the table, but there was no hope of that happening until Andersen, Kerr, Garrity were all replaced. With the predicted 1-7, like the first half of 2018, we will flop again. It isn't a solid team throughout, to many weak spots. Kerr's fitness is in question. Andersen is an uncertainty. MPT only any real quality at reserve. Proctor, Riss and Jorgensen are no 2nd heatleader. Any way you try to look at the predicted team it does come out looking extremely poor to other 1-7's. We have to hope other teams injuries are worse than ours to get anywhere I'm afraid to say.

When we were in the 2nd tier we had some very good meetings with us getting 60+ scores. Even when we beat Sheffield 75-15 there were some good racing. There's no reason a 60+ score couldn't be more entertaining than a 45 all draw. I tend to find that the higher margin results have better racing with home rider's having to come from the back, where close results more often than not tend to be FTG, with the exception of meetings at Belle Vue.

This drip feeding rider's isn't about media exposure for me. King's Lynn could be back page headline news in the Lynn News or EDP but if you're not interested in those sports do you read it? Of course you don't. In the same way I wouldn't read about local Basketball, hockey, rugby or motor racing driver's etc if they're back page. To take notice you have to have a smidgen of interest. Let's be honest, if it's about keeping the club in the news in the hope it may entice the lost fans, well, these fans know that only Robert Lambert is of any real quality to watch, plus, they don't forget the reasons they knocked going to Speedway on the head in the first place. This drip feeding nonsense does nothing to sell the sport in the area, all it does is allow those that don't have a clue about Speedway or the signed rider to skip past the article. To get the locals interested you need to sell the sport first, some random in a cheap polo shirt with the club emblem isn't selling anything to the public.

Yep, & Capital, Kiss, Kerrang.

KLFM no sane under 40 listens to that cack. Radio Norfolk is the only place for Norwich fans to vent, apart from the football it's then just the blue rinse brigade listening. Twitter = 4055 followers, lucky to have a 3rd of that turn up on race night. Also down just under 2000 followers from 2016. Instagram = 603 followers, abysmal for a professional sports club. So, clearly the current media stance of drip feeding is delivering F-all except frustration and turning off the supporters.

Belle Vue fans seem very angry recently, what's in the Manchester water?
-
How would Ash's video benefit him? He has said rev limiters would cut rider's costs. Unless you have evidence to say he'll get more work because they'll be more damaging to engine's (which they won't be).
-
Yep, the club needs to keep the media exposure and fans on the edge of their seats about top draw signings Kerr, MPT, Riss, Jorgensen What a team to get the ladies juices flowing and the men to get a rock on over
-
Not really, can assure you he isn't
-
He does live in this country. Anyway, it ain't Iversen
-
Seeing as I only intended to attend away matches, with the predicted team it'll be Speedway Updates and Twitter Updates for me. There's nobody really available but Robert Lambert needs backup which the predicted side doesn't have. Also no very inspiring or guaranteed high scoring reserve compared to other sides.

Premiership Supporters Cup
Daniel Smith replied to ZagarRacing's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Just a thought, with the fans having the vote on which riders rides heat 15, isn't this going to dramatically increase the delay between heats 14 and 15. Buster already likes a 10min break, are we going to see 20min delays?!? -
Quite a lot of sponsorship today comes from social media. Without saying what team they ride for they miss out on local support.
-
Hopefully Buster's found a buyer for the club.

@PHILIPRISING Speedway Star shouldn't be disappointed by comparison with followers to sales. That will never stack up, but I'm pretty sure you'll have some buyers through social media that don't attend meeting, or not many meetings over the season. For your information Phil, I'm one of those people. Depending on the info from the Speedway Star Twitter account I'll then purchase a copy. With the numbers that attend meetings, Speedway Star do a remarkable job in keeping going as a weekly. Maybe, the margins may be better if the Star goes monthly and charge £5-£7 an addition. -
You certainly shouldn't be to far adrift of King's Lynn anyway. Will be a top quality wooden spoon battle.

@PHILIPRISING with regards to Speedway Star struggling with social media, what are you referring too? I'd say nearly 18k followers is pretty decent exposure or are you saying the number of followers doesn't reflect sales? I'm not sure what you mean by it's not working for the Speedway Star. -

Huge uplift in the use of social media yes, but have you noticed how every clubs accounts are pretty much the same. Same content, repeated within seconds of the other. There are many like me that follow all club accounts and it's horrendous how unimaginative social media is used. Then there's no real interaction with supporters and any slight negativity then the follower is blocked. Whoever controls and operates the social media side of British Speedway has no concept of what is required to be attractive, not only to existing fans, but those that don't follow the sport that see people they follows retweet. Speedway is run poorly from top to bottom, from start to finish. Social media is THE biggest marketing tool and it's being badly miss used and operated. -
Wouldn't Robert Lambert and NKI be included in any clashes too?
