  1. If it was my money, I'd add exactly that but bin the greyhounds and make the track bigger and wider
  2. Maybe, just maybe, the reason for being 2 points under is that riders can up their averages significantly. Then come about August, for Play-Off's introduce Woffinden, Lindgren, Hancock etc for a final Play-Off push. It could be a bit of clever manipulation from the management knowing, when you look at Swindon for example, there's no significant improvement available in Doyle, Batchelor and Jensen. There's risks to the logic but the fact that Peterborough, King's Lynn and Ipswich are unlikely to trouble a top 2 of Swindon & Sheffield. It's about staying in touching distance of the top 4, then bang in some killer changes just as the European season starts to wind down. Quite possibly, an awesome plan is in the making from CVS and Adams.
  3. The only person to enjoy those toilets was SCB. He's used to the smell and got some images to take home and enjoy too
  4. So, how will Masters & Thorsell be feeling about returning? A case of "you're not what we wanted in the team but you'll do for now." If I was those two, with the commitment they've given Wolves, I'd tell the club to fook right off. Peterborough, Ipswich and /or King's Lynn would be very pleased to have one or both of those in their team.
  5. Is it? Who are they advertising too? The already converted? What is it they're selling? They can release to the press daily but nobody can do anything. Speedway won't get going until April so effectively, up to now are advertising a useless product.
  6. The problem with BT Sports through Sky is that if you have SkyQ boxes you can only watch BT Sports on the main box and not multi room.
  7. Charles Wright for me over Dan Bewley at the moment. In 2 years time the opinion may be reversed with Wright then being 33-34.
  8. So you want Pickering just because he'll do better at Ipswich & Wolverhampton? Not a good logic
  9. Schlein retires this season, I just don't see him going all out. High 5's in the averages at best for me
  10. Ricky Wallace, Niklas Porsing, Joachim Kugelmann, Simon Lambert
  11. Nicki Pedersen doesn't have the GP's so was available. Had he been in the series Sheffield wouldn't of got a sniff. Hancock & Lindgren don't want or need the busy schedule, so yes, it is hilarious when stupid names are banded about.
  12. Don't forget Ipswich ended the season with Iversen so he must of been happy with the pay rate and certainly isn't a rider to suggest a lack of ambition. For me, one of the biggest issues in attracting International rider's is their track. Rider's want big fast mecca's not 5 pence pieces. It was a reason for Iversen's struggles in 2019 imo.
  13. People get to hung up on averages. My opinion on this team injury free is top 4 comfortably. End of season average prediction as follows 1. Masters 7.35 (=) 2. Morris 5.38 (+1.00) 3. Schlein 6.65 (-1.00) 4. Becker 5.27 (+1.00) 5. Thorsell 7.33 (+0.50) 6. Douglas 4.66 (+1.50) 7. Nicol 4.00 (+1.00) Ave: 40.64 (44.64) All this chat about Lindgren, Hancock etc is absolutely hilarious to think Wolves fans think it's even possible.
  14. Why wouldn't he? In a draft system Swindon wouldn't have a choice who they have. Draft systems usually work by the worst team having first pick the following season. In that case, why would anyone leave Doyle for Swindon to have. Also, gradings are so unfair too. Doyle 8.96 Batchelor 8.82 Pedersen 8.61 Lambert 7.81 Cook 7.78 Kurtz 7.54 Holder 7.49 Masters 7.35 Thorsell 7.33 You'd feel a bit peeved to be left with Masters as No1. What happens with the 2 not picked? Drafts system =Daft systems
  15. We've been over this subject time and again and it's just not possible. To many factors in the way. Rider's wages are one thing, with certain clubs pay better than others. Rider has to be interested. As an example not fact:- Jason Doyle is on £400 a point, he has to go to Peterborough who can only afford £200 a point. Should he have to accept that? Of course not, he'd probably feel better off giving the UK a miss. It was bad enough when a draft system was used for reserves. Some rider's refused due to distences to travel etc. If a team can afford 4 heatleaders and other clubs can't, so be it. That's sport.
  16. Think Todd Kurtz will be 3.39 as he'd been declared in the top league previously with Poole in 2012. It's only 'new' foreign rider's to the league that have to be assessed 4.00 minimum and that's only for team building and re-declaration.
  17. Maybe MPT had an option of both with Buster and he had chosen Peterborough as his own choice being a better racers track?
  18. Proctor has great value at reserve. When looking at the heat format race by race Proctor on his average should at least score a point per heat against the opposition reserve. Have no doubt, Proctor will improve his current average at reserve. The issue though is would he likely remain reserve? Probably not but if the reserve spot is swapped and changed between Procter and Kerr that does hold some strength in the reserve position.
  19. That hasn't changed because that rule has never existed
  20. Can't imagine Swindon will worry about Anders scores. Pretty sure his initial target will be as simple as match or beat the opposition No7 score on a meeting by meeting basis. Up to the experienced rider's to do their job to win meetings. No pressure on the kid
  21. WTF is the point in that side. Would struggle against a Championship side away from home. Awful
