  1. Business owner & former forumer @AlexBrady
  2. Turned it off, can't stand Speedway at this place
  3. Certainly won't bother watching "qualifying" again. What absolute nonsense. Fingers crossed racing is top draw
  4. As much as I believe the rules state this shouldn't be allowed, at least this signing provides some challenge to Sheffield. The Premiership was a 1 horse race (if no injuries) but now Belle Vue v Sheffield Premiership final is the best final for all to (hopefully) see.
  5. King's Lynn are in a decent position to be fair. They have every facility going in place of Kildemand. I'd fully expect another 28 day replacement as the preferred option
  6. The averages & declarations are 2 separate elements, they do not go hand in hand with regards to 25% rule. The League Cup is part of team declaration & 25% rule.
  7. Correct. What's in King's Lynn's favour over Belle Vue is that Kildemand is refusing (changed his mind) to come to King's Lynn. This will allow them another facility / 28 replacement. With Belle Vue if Jake Allen refuses to return to Belle Vue because they want Zagar, Allen will also get the 28 day ban for his Championship team. Allen won't accept that.
  8. This is the problem with such a strong No1. If I was an opposition manager the jobs simple. I'd ask my riders to not focus on Doyle, just don't come last. The rest of the team is so weak that's where I'd be looking for the heat advantages. Doyle could do 18pt max's every meeting & Ipswich will still lose
  9. It doesn't need to mention the league cup. The League Cup precedes the Premiership so changes can't be made until 25% of league fixtures are completed. It's not difficult to understand. Also Jake Allen is a declared rider whose 28 day contract is irrelevant as he WASN'T granted facility status. The rules the same if the League Cup Final happens after 75% of Premiership fixtures, team won't be allowed changes for that fixture either. It really isn't hard to understand at all
  10. Put it this way. This current Belle Vue team with Jake Allen wouldn't make top 4. Belle Vue illegally add Matej Zagar, this will push King's Lynn outside the Play-Off's. Is that right & fair?? Belle Vue should rightful continue until the 25% is completed with Jake Allen. Belle Vue could well still make top 4 from that point but then at least it's done in the correct way. Surely 5 league fixtures with Jake Allen isn't that much pain for Belle Vue? Then they can have a 15 meeting charge & prove themselves with Zagar
  11. See below It's clear as day to me that this clearly means as it says. The League Cup matches precede Premiership matches so the rule stats changes can't happen until after 25% of league matches. At no point does it say Premiership only. Belle Vue signing Zagar is illegal. Also, regardless whether Belle Vue offers a 28 day contract to a rider it to doesn't stand up within the rules. The contract issued by Belle Vue ISN'T a facility as Jake Allen didn't cover a previously declared rider. He becomes an officially declard rider. Zagar could be signed as a new 28 day facility but only if there's a genuine reason for Jake Allen to be missing, to which there isn't. No matter how you look at it, unless you're totally bias this deal with Zagar shouldn't be ratified according to the rules. This is British Speedway though so anything goes
  12. We all love a conspiracy, so how about this one! When we built the initial 8 Kildemand was signed with the intention to never ride for King's Lynn. This way it allowed Iversen to ride until May, prior to the Danish & Swedish leagues starting. From May 1st Kildemand will refuse to return to the UK & be issued a ban (to which he doesn't give a s#!+ about). Thus giving King's Lynn the chance to replace Kildemand in the initial declaration prior to the 25% fixtures rule. Some will say no chance but everything slots in to place & favours all 3 assets. King's Lynn got Iversen Iversen got what he needed Kildemand happy with just his Polish payroll.
  13. So would I but he is generally awful around the AFA
  14. Belle Vue doing a Poole in 2022, breaking rules
  15. A bit early to be calling that Baggy lad. 100% he alone has given you a shot in the arm to love the sport again though hasn't he?! Good to read that there's a bit of buzz around the place again but there are still major concerns, we have to fix that No1 / No5 slot when Iversen moves on. It will be huge for the most important part of the season, the league. Could be the difference in matching Sheffield or 2nd bottom. We're way to good for the wooden spoon, Ipswich have that nailed on which is a beautiful sight
  16. Fingers crossed, fill the gap well King's Lynn have a genuine chance imo
  17. Basso is clearly a talent, do you think he can maintain the form in the 1-5?? Peterborough's strength for the Premiership will be the fact any of the 1-6 could spend time at reserve, that's a huge advantage. Peterborough has excellent strength in depth. Stronger than Sheffield, their power is from the 1-5. That No6 position could be the difference in winning the league. King's Lynn could be in the conversation too if they can fill that massive 7.62 Iversen gap
  18. So great to read that the AFA has finally produced some racing to be proud of, plus a win to boot. Fingers crossed for those that have stuck around it continues, obviously it's impossible to have every meeting a belter but hopefully this is a start. What was different to usual?? Will be a huge concern for the start of the Premiership when Iversen finishes his 28 day contract for the club & fans. Regardless of results going forward, Jorgensen, Lawson & Pickering should entertain (when on form). Kerr, Worrall & Jorgensen swapping places at reserve so always strong at No6. There is hope but can the management find someone to fill a 7.62 gap?!?
