All dependant on the make up of the rest of the team. If they all maintain their averages then Ipswich are scoring 39, expecting the No7 to score 7 to win. Ipswich need at least 3 rider's that will improve their average He gets plenty of credit by many but the question is, is he worth it. 28.68 to fill 5 spots is a big ask.

Almost 27% of the teams average gone on 1 rider. Very very unlikely to improve either, massive risk imo

Didn't post "my best team" did I? Understand the context, someone else posted 5 rider's & asked to fill the gaps. If I was to post my best team only Pickering would be kept. Do you really believe KK & MPT is an upgrade on Lawson & Worrall??
-
100%. Didn't think King's Lynn could go backwards further from the 21/22 seasons, but when you look at other clubs potential signings, King's Lynn will be the whipping boys home & away with the line-up predicted.

Doesn't matter in any situation, 2 rider's coming together someone is at fault, it's fact. It's a reason I don't like 'All Four Back' at the start of a heat too. 9/10 time, reckless riding is the cause of 1st bend bunching. Rider's on gates 3 & 4 should never be aiming for turn 1 curb & rider's of 1 & 2 shouldn't be aiming for an outside line. The best rider's in the world hardly ever cause a first bend incident. 9/10 times these are caused by lesser standard rider's being desperate.

Are we really looking at this side? 1. Klindt 7.39 2.Jorgensen 6.35 3. Palm-Toft 6.86 4. Pickering 6.14 5. Kasprzak 7.22?? 6. Jakobsen 5.04 7. Rising Star Ave: 39.00 I'm not sure this can be right. I'm certain KK's average was close to 8.00 in the 2017 averages as his 2018 average was expunged due to Rye House collapse. If so, this team doesn't fit

Who are King's Lynn's & Peterborough's new promoter's / owners? I'd guess King's Lynn is Allitt & Brady permanently taking over? Or is it totally new people?
-
Another random just popped in, here goes Premiership, home & away once, completed by July 23rd, top 2 race for the title September. KO Cup, same as league, home & away once, but teams are awarded +/- away from home depending on their league position. In Premiership league position order. (+/- KO Cup score). Those on - are to be deducted from home fixtures, those on + are to be added away. 1. Sheffield -6 2. Ipswich -4 3. Belle Vue -2 4. Wolverhampton +/-0 5. Peterborough +2 6. King's Lynn +4 7. Leicester +6 This meaning, for the KO Cup fixture Sheffield vs Leicester, Sheffield will start the meeting 12 point down.
-
Out side the box idea, is it worth while having a Play-Off score advantage? 1st +10 2nd +5 3rd +0 4th +0 The score advantage is only available for the away leg. Semi-Final 1, 1st (+10) vs 4th (+0) Semi-Final 2, 2nd.(+5) vs 3rd (+0) The score advantage then rolls over to the final.

Best I could come up with on current averages. 1. Nicolai Klindt (7.39) 2. Kyle Howarth (5.28) 3. Michael Palm Toft (6.86) 4. Thomas Jorgensen (6.14) 5. Josh Pickering (6.35) 6. Frederik Jakobsen (5.04) 7. Craig Cook (4.92) Ave: 41.98

Ouch

They'd already made adjustments in 2022 but I guess you didn't notice
-
They've had 1 season
-
What did they promise exactly?? Did they ever promise changes were for 2022/23 or is it progressive change over time? Not forgetting that the time they balloted for the SGP rights the world was very different & 2022 became the start of a financial global crisis. Tell me a company or business that has done what they promised in 2020 now in 2022. Some people are bloody deluded to what's going on.

What changes were people expecting Discovery to implement??

The issue with Cardiff is hotel costs. People can justify the tickets as it's a one-off each season. Factor in the hotels, you can get a weeks holiday for the same. Last years ticket price + hotel for 3 (2ad - 1ch) of us currently looking at around £325-400. Unbelievably expensive for effectively 30mins of actual racing.

League Cup Final Sheffield v Kings Lynn
Daniel Smith replied to RS50's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Result irrelevant, appreciation to those rider's that hopped on plane's for an 'out of season', 'out of contract' meeting. -
I know it's early & some get giddy, especially after (yet another) awful season, but the suggestions of Woffinden, Lindgren etc returning to British Speedway is just laughable

King's Lynn v Belle Vue (SGBPB)
Daniel Smith replied to Mimmo's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Finally the King's Lynn promotors antics are starting to sink in with some. 100% the fans don't matter to this club, what they can get out of us under any circumstances is all that they're interested in. King's Lynn are a dead club, no ambition to win anything, no ambition to deliver a product for their fans. -
Sheffield vs. Belle Vue Grand Final 2nd Leg 13/10/22
Daniel Smith replied to TTT's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Enjoyed that as a neutral. Close score, controversial refereeing. That aside, Sheffield can truly feel harshly done by, for me, the much better side on the night & could of / should of won comfortably. Congratulations to Belle Vue, enjoy it -
Sheffield vs. Belle Vue Grand Final 2nd Leg 13/10/22
Daniel Smith replied to TTT's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It's very different riding against the home team than for. S.Lambert will do well to get 4 with only 3 rides expected too -
Sheffield vs. Belle Vue Grand Final 2nd Leg 13/10/22
Daniel Smith replied to TTT's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Losing 2 rider's & winning the home leg by 12 is not choking. If R/R & Simon Lambert pick up 10 points, it should be enough to see them through. If the above happens & Belle Vue still lose, 100%, choking can be firmly pointed at the team, BUT, even had Belle Vue had their full 7 I did't see them scoring 40 points anyway. Lambert - Zagar - Kurtz vs Holder - Musielak - Ellis very even to call around owlerton but the winners of the meeting for me will come from Sedgman & Mountain. These 2 will be the difference. -
Lambert with Belle Vue. It's a lad trying to reach the top so would be good on the CV. Unfortunately, I think Belle Vue haven't got enough in the bag to get over the line.
