  1. Absolutely, the 1 minute is only for false starts. No excuses for any rider to miss those. Fallers, tape touching etc will be the usual 2mins. Don't see the issue at all.
  2. Anything if they're willing to participate in a sport that has passed all health and safety checks. So, what would you change at Scunthorpe?
  3. What do you suggest that wouldn't cause track closure?
  4. We still have this problem at GP level, Poland's Exstraliga etc, it's not just a Scunthorpe thing of solid-state fences. Scunthorpe is no more dangerous than any other track around the world. We've had rider's suffer just as severe injuries with airfence's on wooden & chain-link fences.
  5. GP / International rider's crash in to the fence at King's Lynn, it also has an unmovable armco barrier, held SWC meetings, what's your point?
  6. That doesn't mean anything. They're all young an inexperienced rider's, they'll crash everywhere. Plus the fact Kennedy has signed for Scunthorpe clearly indicates he has no problem with the track
  7. Not doing a Manchester City here is he, being on Belle Vue's 'back-door' payroll somewhere down the line?? You always know something & to be happy it must benefit Belle Vue, I'm VEEEEEEEEEEERY suspicious now Zmarzlik for Mulford 24hrs before the Play-Off Final already planned is it? Huh, huh, huh, huh, yep, yep. I gotcha han't I
  8. Krzystof Kasprzak 12.00 Frederik Jakobsen 10.00 Nicolai Klindt 9.50 Jason Doyle 9.50 Emil Sayfutdinov 9.00 Dan Bewley 8.50 Max Fricke 8.00 Nicki Pedersen 7.50 Brady Kurtz 7.50 Tobiasz Musielak 7.00 Jack Holder 7.00 Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.00 Sam Masters 7.00
  9. Making the rules is not his job. This will still be on the Promoters. He will recommend ideas & be sole interpreter of said rules. No longer (as happens all to often) one promoter rings another on how they interpreted a rule. If it's not what they want to hear they'd ring another until they get the answer they wanted to hear. Then stake claim that it not just them that sees a certain situation as they do, and works it to their own benefit. With Phil Morris as sole interpretater it's his way only & matter of fact.
  10. And the relevance of this question?? Every club pays in to BSP Ltd every year. It'll financed by that. Yes & No. He'll have to visit every Premiership track on all Monday & Thursdays to oversee the running of meetings, from track prep to close. Will be a similar position & work alongside on occasions, with what Tony Steele on behalf of ACU & SCB. It's one hell of a job he's taking on. Probably won't see any real change for 2-3 seasons. Over seeing the rule book & working for Discovery (especially temp track weeks) & BSP Ltd is going to be nuts busy for the guy. Good luck to Phil
  11. The numbers don't lie, if every rider in the league maintained their rolling average, Belle Vue & King's Lynn are Play-Off finalists comfortably. As we know, speedway isn't like that. Personally, Ipswich are the favourites for me. Any team can be 10-12 up after 9, but when you have Doyle, Sayfutdinov & King to close a meeting, those points can be wiped out in an instant. In the real world, how likely is it these 3 stay uninjured? Very very unlikely imo
  12. They can no longer afford his current wage demands. It's been mentioned by some Wolverhampton fans that money is an issue & Lindgren was wanted by them.
  13. Agree to a point. Nicki Pedersen is a nostalgic signing. For me, having Dan Bewley back in the league is a bigger signing. Emil is a genuine World Class signing & it's a shame imo Peterborough couldn't get the Lindgren signing over the line.
  14. Team strengths by official rolling averages. How close could it be to being accurate without injuries?? Belle Vue taking a clear advantage with Brennan's reduction, can he maintain last yesrs form? Ipswich extremely top heavy but are actually 2nd in real averages so should be a good year. Then at the other end, Peterborough's numbers are surprising, almost 2 points off top 2, will it be a tough season for them in the real world?? Questions questions, LET THE TAPES UP BEGIN 1. Belle Vue (40.27) 2. Ipswich (39.98) 3. Sheffield (39.34) 4. Leicester (38.97) 5. Wolverhampton (38.85) 6. King's Lynn (38.64) 7. Peterborough (38.31)
  15. There's so much Sayfutdinov will have to go through to get a work permit. He'll be invested as to family history i.e. Oligarch family members, any serving family members from Cold War era on, financial history etc etc. Lots of hoops
  16. He'll only be there 2 meetings maximum so not really classed a reserve
  17. One thing to our disadvantage is consistency. The whole 1-6 could score 10 or 3. Every one of them needs to score 6-7 week in week out & I can't see it compared to others. Felt confident with this team when it first came out, comparing to 2022, but now every other team is (almost) done, can't see anything but bottom.
  18. They'll need to be 10-12 up minimum by heat 10 as they'll concede 8 from heats 13 & 15
  19. The question is:- Are Ipswich cooking the season ticket books to only announce later on Emil's visa was denied?!?!?
  20. 1. Ipswich 2. Sheffield 3. Belle Vue 4. Peterborough 5. Leicester 6. Wolverhampton 7. King's Lynn
