  1. May be a cell mate wanted to test out his engine room & bored him out to good.
  2. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ not even close Home 2024: Bewley 9.24 Kurtz 9.73 = 18.97 Sayfutdinov 8.94 Doyle 10.55 = 19.49 Away 2024: Bewley 8.14 Kurtz 8.39 = 16.53 Sayfutdinov 8.47 Doyle 9.05 = 17.52 Ipswich +1.51
  3. Lawson should be at No1. The reductions are team building only. The 'Rolling Averages' take precedent.
  4. It's not NEW for King's Lynn. It's actually very 'Rob Lyon' (& Jonathan Chapman) to announce full or 'close to' in one go. Back in the day we used to have fan forums in November / December at the AFA or King's Lynn Football Club with team announcements & rider's there taking questions from the fans. Those were good times ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  5. I think fans who discredit this idea is taking the p!$$ to be honest. Woffinden has almost singlehandedly lifted Great Britain back on the world stage. Without this guy, we'd be nowhere near the medal tables in the 'Speedway of Nations', 'World Cup', 'Speedway Grand Prix'. He has given our up & coming young lads something to believe in & aim for. The belittling of his achievements & service by many to British Speedway overall is nothing short of absurd. Disgraceful in fact. Tai Woffinden IS a true ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง legend
  6. Someone getting a little bit 'insane in the membrane' hey ๐Ÿ˜ค Many rider's get injured, in the back of an ambulance & the meeting continues. Chill the stress. Crack on brudda ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’จ
  7. Don't agree that Belle Vue could confidently beat Ipswich but I will say, this Ipswich side is being massively overhyped. Both Belle Vue & Sheffield will have just as good a sides and put up a challenge.
  8. What's to sort out, you only need to read top of page 1 ๐Ÿค”
  9. Birmingham wouldn't then be in the top division. Both Birmingham & Oxford are only there because those 2 clubs have gone.
  10. That's what the management want (regardless of what they say publicly). King's Lynn is built on the cheap. The aim is simple, just to TRY to win at home, and not by big margins, and be battered away. Let me explain by numbers because all we'll get back is King's Lynn do pay well blah, blah, blah. Here's an example. Say Ipswich average 44 per meeting at ยฃ400 per point for their septet that's ยฃ17,600 per meeting. King's Lynn could offer their septet exactly the same terms but it's built "on the cheap." King's Lynn average 40 per meeting at ยฃ400 per point, that's ยฃ16,000 per meeting. Over a season Ipswich pay ยฃ422,400 King's Lynn ยฃ384,000 Say, both clubs have similar attendances, King's Lynn are making better profits by being a cheaper, losing team. This is why King's Lynn is always built "on the cheap" these days, the management know, and don't want, big home wins & to many (if any at all) wins away. As long as you can get enough through the turnstiles, British Speedway don't actually offer real incentive to put together a 'winning team'.
  11. You know this is nonsense right?? Under that theory every track should have between 5,000-10,000 every week. There's always something that 'breaks the camels back' to make someone to no longer go. In 2024 the "use it or lose it" speech doesnโ€™t suffice anymore. Value for money is the be all & end all to a fan.
  12. Scrap that, you mean the speedway ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  13. Do you still go to West Ham week in week out, home and away??
  14. British Speedway HAS been Mickey Mouse for a couple of decades now. But if this manipulation comes to fruition it's on a level par to religion. Totally fake, fictional nonsense.
  15. If Lawson isn't at Leicester it will be through his choice, not for being dropped.
  16. If other GP rider's have said no, they would have been asked be because Lindgren had already said no first.
  17. ๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคฎ there are websites for that sort of nonsense ๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคฎ
  18. Oh my, let's all take a moment here, someone apologised on this forum.......................................................................................................... ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  19. There's a difference between dangerous & ruthless. Pedersen wasn't dangerous
  20. There is no 1 rule for rider's peaking. Some peak at 20, 25, 30. We've seen these supposed superstars at a young age that when they get to mid 20s just flatline. One of the biggest examples coming to mind is Joe Screen. Just so many parameters can get in the way of progression, birds (or guys or "them" ๐Ÿ™„ these days) alcohol, burgers & chips, gambling etc. 20 years ago the peak was mid 20s, these days it's early to mid 30s.
  21. That's too simplistic, Doyle didn't become anyone until his 30s. Style & speed is the parameters over age
  22. Only Belle Vue can say they get both consistently. It's the only Premiership track that is conductive to genuine, full tilt racing. Every other track is predominantly follow the leader until a rider makes an error, or the heatleader misses the start. One of Birmingham's big error in team building last year was simple, they signed no trappers.
  23. I wasn't doing the comparing, I said it's ridiculous too, how many more times ๐Ÿ™„ Getting rides on the continent does make any rider 'way ahead', especially Poland. Comparing the 2 in the same league is also impossible. Thompson was at 2 because the No6 was crap. Rowe was at No6 because King's Lynn was built with strength in depth. Thompson's home track is a trick track which is tough for even away heatleaders. Rowe's home track is super grippy (even with no shale) which is tough for mid to lower order rider's. The parameters for both to be compared are all over the place. But like I said also, in 2 years time Thompson could be 'way ahead'. I have no problem with who rides for who, I just hope we have some more Dan Bewleyโ€™s & Robert Lambertโ€™s coming through.
