  1. I would just like to make it clear. Nowhere in the statement does is say the admission prices WILL be the same. It says "I would like to see our admission prices remain the same for next season".
  2. Even so, I'd still like to see a statement from the club on the situation
  3. The promotion were very quick to put a statement out regarding Doolan. I hope they do the same with the Bjerre situation. As I've said before, now he's not going to be our asset we should look elsewhere for a rider and forget about Bjerre. One thing our club has been brilliant at is having our own assets and now we could end up using 3 loan riders in 2011. Bjerre & Roynon will both contain loan fees and with releasing Doolan we'll have a loan fee on a heatleader. Expense we could do without
  4. The problem is, Lasse wasn't anyones asset at the time. He'd only signed the deal with peterborough last week I understand. That changes everything. The fact that his Danish fixtures come first must also be an issue
  5. More Breaking News Panthers fans can also confirm this (if they were listening) During the announcement that Lasse Bjerre was to become a Panthers asset, it was said that he WILL be riding for his Danish club on Wednesday's and looking at doubling up for the Panthers once he's LOWERED his average to 6 or less. It was also mentioned that no agreement has been made with a PL club for next season as yet. WTF is going on????????
  6. Absolutely. Most EL fans believe the PL is an easy ride though. How little do they know
  7. Just have in mind that this years PL champions Edinburgh had loses of £40,000. So dropping down should not be taken lightly by the Louis's
  8. Trust me, it isn't a done deal. Bach has a Polish club lined up and has been advised that he is required to fulfil 80% of there fixtures. He's waiting to see if he can get a deal with a mid week track over here. If he does, he'll sign the deal with his potential Polish club & not return to Newcastle. The Polish club has given him 2 weeks to make his decision
  9. I would just like to reiterate to some that he's only been offered to King's Lynn as a mid week track. At no point did I say he's signed The main part of the news is that he will not be at Newcastle next season unless they change there race night. Just thought I'd make that clear
  10. So does Lasse Bjerre's club doesn't it. That's why a few of our meetings last season got shifted around
  11. Can only reveal the news not my tomato. If they were revealed I'd never get the news anymore to share with the world would I
  12. Breaking News Rene Bach has told Peterborough that he doesn't want to return to Newcastle as he want to join a Polish club full time which rules him out of Sunday meetings. Peterborough with Rene's permission has offered his services to King's Lynn as a mid week track
  13. Kevin Doolan the new Ryan Fisher. Man, he's gonna get it when he returns BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  14. Now, I think we'll sign someone very interesting. I can't see it being Olly. Although he said it would be a consideration but he really wants to be EL and I believe he will be. It will be Ryan Fisher. Again, he really wants to be EL but I just can't see any club touching him on a 6 average so it will be PL for 1 more year
  15. It has a quote from J Chapman so it isn't a made up story this time
  16. Correct http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/motorsport/2010/11/05/speedway-king-s-lynn-stars-put-kevin-doolan-on-transfer-list-115875-22693433/
  17. It's generally the supporters meeting after the BSPA meeting. So, we should know by the first week of December
  18. Surely that should be a smilley ctf. I think most of us, the club and Doolan all thought he's a cert for 2011. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose
  19. To me, the signing seems absolutely pointless then. Yes, we all know that Lasse will be a class rider but we've only got him for next season and I believe his average with finish a point and a half to two points lower than the seven he's starting on. That is no benefit to us unless he's an asset. He'll be elsewhere in 2012 to progress his career and we lose out big time. No loan fee, no selling fee and another team gains from his lower average. Unless he's an asset the signing to me is ridiculous and we'd be better off having Schramm or Sanchez in instead as they'd perform more consistently around the seven average.
  20. If that is the case I'd like to see our promotion tear his contract up and bring someone else in who is or to become our own asset. Also, seeing as he'd already signed a 2 year contract last year surely that can't be right for another team to come in and sign him as an asset. That is called poaching and shouldn't be allowed. Can't see that happening
  21. Very, very interesting. Will we now see an influx of riders wanting to ride over here again as they can't get team spots in Poland.
  22. All the best to Cal McDade. An absolutely awful, awful crash but nobody can take any blame for it and hope Dallaway is OK as well. Jake Knight was a lucky boy to be able to walk away from his face plant into the fence in heat 4 of the second meeting.
  23. I too am looking forward to this. An absolute fest of speedway to top the season off Good luck to both teams
  24. My prediction 1. Tomasz Gollob 2. Jason Crump 3. Emil Sayfutdinov 4. Nicki Pedersen 5. Chris Harris 6. Freddie Lindgren 7. Jarek Hampel 8. Greg Hancock 9. Kenneth Bjerre 10. Rune Holta 11. Andreas Jonsson 12. Janusz Kolodziej 13. Chris Holder 14. Artem Laguta 15. Antonio Lindback
