  1. So, for the last three weeks you've been banging on about the situation being Matt Ford / Poole's fault. This week it's all King's Lynn's fault that Coventry are out of the Elite League. You're so blinded you've been stung in both eyes by your promotion. YOUR PROMOTION ONLY HAVE THEMSELVES TO BLAME. <unnecessary personal abuse removed>
  2. It won't, Coventry are in. The question is are Peterborough included in the meeting or not????
  3. The problem is that it was only this week the Peterborough riders where added too the transfer embargo which makes them not contracted to King's Lynn for 2011. I've asked the question on Bookface and the promotion haven't responded and that concerns me as they do tend to answer questions if they're incorrect
  4. It doesn't matter whether it's full or not. There's not a chance of us being PL for 2011. Apart from Olly Allen all our riders have signed elsewhere so we'd have no team at all. We will be EL but we may end up having to rebuild our team again
  5. The arrogance of some people is unbelievable. Everyone will be quite happy to see your side return yet you'd be quite happy to see another destroyed
  6. It would be brilliant to see Coventry & Peterborough return to the EL and anyone to say otherwise is a flid but their return would be under the BSPA's new regs set for 2011. I can't help being concerned though for my club as Peterborough would no doubt want the 2 Bjerre's & N K Iversen back in their team. Were would that leave us? Completely f'd up is were.
  7. Don't agree with that. I think it's gone to £10 because they know they'll get more in this year with the alternate race weeks between the EL & NL. I will even bother this season. Have to have the weekly fix I'd be intrigued to know if they'll knock up some season tickets to include both leagues
  8. We were £8 last season for NL meetings
  9. can you bloody believe it. Come tomorrow we'll find that we're in the EL and not only have Ipswich gone PL but now Peterborough have agreed to go PL. WTF
  10. If you don't mind paying the extra £8 a week for me to attend then I'll be there
  11. I'd say quite likely. It's in the best interests of the club to try and develop young British riders. Although I don't attend these meetings it massively important the 3rd tier of speedway.
  12. Nope, we'll be back for 2012 don't you worry. We're just a BSPA play thing for 2011.
  13. Buster said the same thing so you just never know. One thing for sure is that TT can still do a job in that league.
  14. I have started an King's Lynn 2011 EL thread to get the ball rolling. As far as I'm concerned with both our promotion & the BSPA releasing statements both Monday @ 12pm and the fact our promotion hasn't denied any of the speculation when they could of yesterday it is quite clearly a done deal. So, I'll see you all in the EL section
  15. It certainly looks that we are Elite League now. So, we're now going to be the BSPA's scapegoat and EL whipping boys so they can hang on to the Sky money. Brilliant
  16. Me too. A guaranteed 7 points a season against that pile of cack
  17. That numpty happened to be Coventry's press officer
  18. It isn't obvious at all. The radio interview stats that we're going EL regardless whether Peterborough & Coventry are in or out of the EL
  19. You miss understand Peterborough = EL King's Lynn = PL King's Lynn reserves = NL All at the Norfolk Arena The BSPA run Peterborough & use the Norfolk Arena as the venue because it works out cheaper in rental costs for all party's. It wouldn't be at the showground because Frost holds the rental agreement but would be suspended by the BSPA.
  20. The Council fronted up around £130k for the development itself.
  21. I'm not sure we'd suddenly enjoy it at all. It will be the same old story, King's Lynn in the top league = bottom of the table. In the EL at the moment I think we could only compete financially with Eastbourne & Belle Vue.
  22. Let me get one thing straight here. I'd love EL speedway back at Lynn & if we are I'll be there week in week out but many others won't. We get told time & time again that EL speedway isn't viable for King's Lynn and over the last year only Poole has made any money in the EL. Why now all of a sudden is it right for us to be in the EL when we've been approved for PL & drawn Somerset in the cup. What I think is the BSPA NEED 8 clubs to secure their Sky money so they've cook up a super strong Kipper so King's Lynn can get done up like one
  23. Just a thought Could it be possible that EL speedway WILL be at King's Lynn but under Peterborough's name??????????? The reason I say this is that, if the Peterborough promotion do pull out and it get all legal the BSPA may run the club but the landlords at the Showground rental costs could be out of their reach and Buster has offer a helping hand. Thought's?????
  24. I fear for our survival. If we go EL we're finished. We get a lot of floating supporters at the NA and all that will concern them is the price to get in, not whether it's EL or PL. Increased admission will be the end of us.
  25. The question has to be, if the money on the table to take Birmingham & supposedly King's Lynn into the EL is so good, why wasn't it offered to Ipswich???? And if it was and they've still come down, to me that says a lot that the BSPA are trying to pull the wool over the PL promoters. Peterborough, Coventry, Poole & Wolverhampton will always be the top dogs in the EL & all they'll be doing is making sure it stays that way. Those 4 teams don't give a monkeys about any other club in that league and they just constantly try to point score over each other.
