  1. Jonny Chapman did say on the centre concrete that King's Lynn will strongly consider riding the top league if next season's BIG CHANGES come off and there will be some BIG CHANGES.
  2. For Great Britain to ever win the World Cup, Denmark, Australia and Poland would have to of been stuck at the airport.
  3. Is this meeting live on the radio anywhere as I'm at work. I can get internet radio. Live updates ain't enough, I wan't to hear the action and piss everyone off at work with all the noise of the bikes. Please help, desperate here.
  4. I to really enjoyed watching these lads and most where good but that Marc Owen was fantastic to watch. He could of probably scored more points than some of the Sheffield riders last night. He was full throttle into the turns, just brilliant. Defo one for the future. How old is this lad?
  5. For the British GP I'll be sitting on my ass on my sofa with a couple of beers. This is the first year I'm not going and I've saved about £300 and I'm never going again. I'd rather stand on the back straight at my beloved King's Lynn than be at Cardiff
  6. Don't think he's all that bothered as I remember him saying something about a fall out with Czech management/government or something and they refused to allow him to ride for/in his nation.
  7. All tickets are usually sent out about 2 weeks before events, you will get tickets, don't pannick.
  8. I agree I'm sure some of the people who post on here work for the BSPA To many clubs with dog tracks, rugby/football clubs would close as all other sports take priority over nights available for speedway.
  9. Is there a full riders line up or have I missed it
  10. Does this mean a few riders groveling team promoters for a team spot next season over here?? This is from www.speedwayworld.tv today IF Jaroslaw Hampel keeps his place in the Grand Prix series, he may be forced to leave Atlas Wroclaw, as each Extraleague team is allowed to have two GP riders only. Hampel may be exchanged with Krzysztof Kasprzak from Unia Leszno. "I have heard that I may be the one to lose my place at Wroclaw," says Hampel, who will compete with Jason Crump and Hans Andersen, who have very strong positions in the Atlas team. "The signals I had were very unofficial. No-one from the club has contacted me. We will surely talk after the season," adds Hampel. Jarek admits that he already had some offers from other Polish clubs. "Unia Leszno have contacted me," says Hampel. It is very possible that Jarek would go to Leszno and Krzyszof Kasprzak would replace him at Wroclaw. Kasprzak has always been a transfer target for Atlas bosses.
  11. Why do these events always have to go to EL stadiums. With all the improvements happening at King's Lynn and the best race track surface in the country it could be held there, semi's or final
  12. My view is that if a rider doesn't touch the tapes, why pull it back. It's all about getting the jump first. A rider creeping back or forward doesn't always get the jump first. Touch the tapes excluded, miss the tapes let it go, simple as that.
  13. Chris Neath Stuart Robson Must in my opinion be better riders than Kennett
  14. What's wrong with an old boy, I'd even pick Chris Louis in front of Kennett and I'd even pick Smithy as long as there riding well enough You need riders who could mix it up a bit and Kennett won't do that. You may laugh about Lanham but I though Kennett was just as funny.
  15. Just looked at the EL averages and Stead is a good pick but why not Leigh Lanham. Seams to be going much better than Kennett so far this season Stead 6.50 Lanham 6.45 Kennett 4.63
  16. Why couldn't team averages total up to the previous league champions averages i.e. 2005 premier league winners where Kings Lynn with 52.31 average 2006 every team can build there teams to that average and the league winners can keep the same team to try and deffend there title
  17. If thats the case, why didn't they say the top 13 qualify for next years GP rounds
  18. Tickets already on sale, who's going and who has already bought there tickets
  19. It could happen in theory, goes like this, We have 3 and a half thousand members on this forum, Everyone puts £1000 in the kitty = £3,500,000, Vote in a chairman as it would become a full time job, £2,000,000 on the build of the stadium, £1,500,000 to keep it running for the next 2 years after, Buy then should start making a profit and everyone then starts claiming there money back with interest. Sounds all so simple doesn't it????????????????????
  20. Shoot me down if ya think i'm wrong here, but i'm getting jacked off with the Poole fans now. There were 7000 at the track tonight and there was a lot of support for team GB, but they must of been from Eastbourne, i spotted loads of Sweden flags, Ricko hats and shirts, do Poole fans actually remember where they were born.
  21. uuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, someones been wearing the same dark goggles as the referee me thinks
  22. Leigh Adams said from his own mouth a couple of seasons ago that, i'll never be world champ and don't have the gutts to do things on the track as the likes of rickardsson or crump, i see this sport as a bread winner for my family as i have young children now and can't afford to get injured and not ride. If i get in a sticky position on the track i'll back off but i believe in my ability to get me out the gate first and win my races without having to pass anyone. When i was in my young teen years all i wanted was to be world champ and i still do now in a way, but when you have a family your focus on life changes a little. For me, it's family first, my job second. I believe he is a world class rider, you don't finish top 6 in the world season in season out because he's a great league rider. comments like that are just as criminal as Nicki Pedersen taking out Greg Hancock and not being excluded for it. Shame on that referee. TV replays and still can't get it right, what next?

    SKY

sky will never pull the plug on speedway because of the G.P.s and the fact that they wouldn't want to lose the rights to any of there sports to rival company's.
