  1. Fisher 6.02 and Howe 5.87 at the moment so have to wait until after the 1st June
  2. It is, but 2 big fat 0's tomorrow night & a big fat 0 Wednesday could fix that
  3. Yep, but the BSPA members won't allow it. It's as simple as that
  4. Yep, agree with Baggy. The best EL side we've had for some time and already get the feeling this season is a write-off. If feel a slide towards the foot of the table is imminent. Not saying we will be bottom but at the moment the only way we're going is down. It will be incredible hard work to pick this back up. Utter disaster
  5. Can't see it being someone of the quality of Bech signing at all. It will be someone from the PL doubling up im sure
  6. I think this has been one of the most boring & poorest British Finals for a fewyears. I may be a little harsh but Woffy apart IMO the future of British Speedway looks abysmal on tonight's display
  7. Must of been a good holiday drop a cog. You've come back all hot a sweaty As Kelvin Tatum would say "his response was right out of the top draw Nige!!!"
  8. It seems Drop a Cog has dropped a clanger & taken a Steve Shovlar style embarrassment holiday.
  9. Well, I will chuck my perspective on NL racing. Last season missed only 3 meetings & took in this meeting on Wednesday & I'm retiring from National League spectating. I keep trying to enjoy it but I just can't. I just find the racing scary, apart from the top 2 / 3 riders in the teams the rest just wobble around IMO. The crashes / falls are too regular & after watching PL / EL racing I think most supporters of those clubs would be of the same opinion unless the NL team is of a stand alone status. No more for me.
  10. Howe knows his services are temporary. He's even said so in interviews but he will give his all to score points. He appreciates the club gave him the call to have a go. The most important thing is he scores points at home, away from home we're bound to struggle a little as the mechanics of the team have been thrown all over due to injury. Barring anything happening this weekend we should be back to a full 7 man team on Wednesday. The amount of injuries our riders have picked up so far this season is actually more of a concern
  11. Who's panicking???? Nobody is screaming for changes just that we're suffering injury after injury right now. Over time, having to constantly use guests & r/r will have a serious affect on where we finish. There is a lot to be said for stability & team spirit and that will be slowly lost. Fingers crossed when all return we stay away from further injuries and all will be perfect
  12. Well, worrying times for us Stars fans. Started the season in great hope & very quickly things have turned bad. It seems that now David Howe is on the injury list along side Korneliussen, Schlein & Stead. We've managed to hang in there at the top end of the league but if this continues our season is going to crash & burn just as quick.
  13. Brock, turn it around again under those circumstances but Poole were at home. What do you think Fat Mord would have done. I believe Belle Vue were wrong how they went about it. It was completely absurd. But I couldn't imagine turning up to a Lynn home meeting with only 4 riders on show. I know I'd be gutted
  14. Just a thought that just popped into my nut & at the moment is unemployed & needs another Month to be ready which fits I have a feeling it may well be Adam Roynon. Coventry have re-declared there team so he is available The lad absolutely loves the NA Just a thought.
  15. I see UKM continues to talk bull-locks about the kings Lynn v birmingham fixture in 2009 (get over yourself man, 5 days my ass) but anyway I feel the facts have to be mentioned. The failure happened during a stockcar meeting on a bank holiday sunday weekend which continued throughout. It was assessed on the Monday and couldn't be fixed until the following Monday due to obsolete power supply. Bare in mind, the floodlights at kings Lynn are the old hackney speedway setup. Understandably birmingham kicked up a fuss (both clubs really fell out over this) and an SCB official was sent to investigate & kings Lynn where cleared of any wrong doing. + we had a far superior side than Birmingham in 09 Below was on the BSPA website http://ip133.216-86-156.static.steadfastdns.net/news.php?extend.4862
  16. Just wait now for the usual Belle Vue fans to come on here and defend their club. Should be a good laugh
  17. Speedway fans can be depressing & moan at nothing. The best meeting on Sky this year so far by a country mile & really enjoyed the banter between Nige, Alun & Tai. At times it was funny. Some folk really are such a bore moaning about Pearson for no reason what so ever. Well done Sky, both teams & Scunny speedway for providing a real speedway venue.
  18. It's the right move by the team management. Giving Klindt meetings at reserve and still score nothing we'd then have no average available to replace him with. Absolutely no risk at all. Howe is more than capable of scoring 4-5 points home & away. Really don't understand the fuss. Don't perform & you're out & unfortunately for Klindt he has just been dreadful. Also, May is going to be a tough month to allow for confidence building. Home & away to Swindon, away to Wolves then home to Poole & Peterborough. Not enough time for p!ssing about I'm afraid folks
  19. So we get a guest for Steady now. Much better than R/R. Good stuff, although much prefere Stead in the team but he'd be missing anyway with Sheffield riding.
  20. I'm shocked, saddened and very disappointed to read that a Redcar fan had shouted to Worrall "I hope your dead." I hope this person is found / pointed out and banned from speedway stadiums up and down the country. This also happening on the Birthday of Lee Richardson This is just unacceptable behaviour. Somebody on here will know who this idiot is.
  21. May be our bad luck with injuries is set to continue. Richie Worrall withdrawn after 1 ride at Redcar. Let's hope it's just precautionary.
  22. Eurosport's coverage is mile better than Sky's. Much better pictures & the commentary is so much better. Eurosport have even made the racing better. Eurosport are extremely talented people, in fact, the person running the show there must be Jesus Christ Our Lord ALL HAIL EUROSPORT
  23. People expecting controversial content will be very badly mistaken. This will I'm sure be a very speedway positive & BSPA friendly magazine. If I'm not mistaken, the person running this magazine runs the Speedway365 site, runs the KLStars site & sponsors riders & design their sites too.
  24. I think JJ meant if Steady is out injured for a while Olly would be an ideal replacement not guest.
