  1. Woffy has said he wants Worrall & Cook as his fellow Countrymen at King's Lynn
  2. There's no way I'd pick Worrall. Even as a Stars fan that would be a step to far right now. Let's see what he can dish out in the Stars main body first & could be considered in 2014 when Belle Vue becomes the World Cup track & Worrall's home track too.
  3. If I was Midlo I'd be busting a gut to get Nicholls to change his mind. He's coming back into some sort of form right at the right time. 1, Chris Harris 2, Tai Woffinden 3, Craig Cook 4, Scott Nicholls / Lewis Bridger That would be my 4. If Nicholls isn't going to ride, I'd put my neck on the line and pick Lewis Bridger. There is something about him I like as a rider. His average doesn't show as a World beater but I think he's ready. He's the total opposite to Kennett, King & Barker who totally crack under pressure. This season, in Bridger I've seen a rider who cracks against the lesser riders but picks it up against the big boys. Also spent serious money on engines going with genuine engine tuners. I want him to be given a go & made it be known to him that this is his last chance to crack it. I'd even say the same to Harris to be honest Kennett & King have had plenty / to many chances. If Bridger fails this year, then it's time to feed in the next set of youngsters. I'd set up test matches for the below 7 GB riders against a Danish - Australia - Swedish - Polish teams in 2014:- Craig Cook - Richie Worrall - Lewis Bridger - Ben Barker (Needs attitude transplant though) - Josh Auty - Richard Lawson - Ashley Birks Behind them as injury cover I'd have:- Kyle Howarth - Ashley Morris - Lewis Kerr Then come 2015 we'll see the emergence of a genuine talent to equal Woffinden in Robert Lambert (17 then) and the like of:- Lewis Rose - Lewis Blackbird - Stefan Nielsen (If he'd pick GB, I'm not sure) - Steve Worrall - Tom Perry - Adam Ellis - Joe Jacobs __________________________________________________________________________________ I honestly believe we'll see a change in cycle from 2016 and TeamGB will have an emergence of talent and become competitive in Europe again. I genuinely believe that. BUT, there is one major factor that needs challenging. The BSPA & the associated promoters. We have real, and I mean REAL World class potential talent ready to go but they need help. Hence why I believe International challenge matches are the way forward, Home & Away but the BSPA has to be the main backer.
  4. bydgoszcz this, bydgoszcz that. After tonight I can see Why BSI have dropped it from the calendar.
  5. I can't believe some are not enjoying this meeting. Absolutely awesome so far. OK, the leader may be miles out front but the battles for the lower placings are out of the top draw.
  6. Tai has travelled and is expected to participate in today's practice. Will decided after practice if fit or not.
  7. I read on Twitterland that Buxton are looking for £6000 so they can purchase a 2nd hand air fence???? not £18000?
  8. Elite League v Premier League Just think about this for a moment before it gets rubbished. If you could pick the top 4 tracks in the EL how many have been on Sky in 2013? King's Lynn Peterborough Wolverhampton Birmingham If you could pick the top 4 tracks from the Premier League how many of those have been on in 2013? Sheffield Somerset Berwick Scunthorpe I believe Sky are picking these meetings purposely to put the BSPA & it's possible new Elite League contact in it's place to force the value down showing that lower league speedway actually has more value than the "Supposed" "Better" Elite League Opinions peeps!!!!!!
  9. Top class meeting. Much better than anything served up by the Elite League on Sky so far. I can't be some are still moaning by saying the track was slick. Was it bull arks. The riders were suggesting it was slick but only slicker than normal standards. Compare it to trash like Lakeside, Poole, Coventry, Belle Vue, Somerset looked super grippy & I think that's the statement people are trying to make.
  10. That's fine at the moment. Agent Klindt is doing his job very well, riding like a dream right now
  11. I've just assumed Porsing will be on assessed 5.5 - 6.00 average
  12. Again, another rider I know nothing about but I applaud the management & promotion for not hanging around. With the new line up I'd move Alden to no'2, Schlein to 4 with Stead at 5. Our middle order has been to weak & Schlein at 4 adds more strenght in depth. 1. Iversen 2. Alden 3. Porsing 4. Schlein 5. Stead 6. Worrall 7. Lebedev
  13. Good news for the Young Stars as Robert Lambert has agreed to fulfil as many NL fixtures as possible for the remainder of the season.
  14. Maybe he'd watched Poole on TV and thought "there's no chance I'm racing that dog rubbishe of a track" & prefers the silky smooth Norfolk Arena. Money isn't everything
  15. Will reserve judgement on the new signing. Never heard of him so can't really have an opinion. Give it 2 month when we've at least had 2 home meetings
  16. I have to say, & I thought I'd never say it but the novelty of the Elite League??? is starting to wear really thin with me. Main reason is down to the lack of racing, this league is just stop start all the time. Missing riders & injuries etc stacking up with unsuitable cover available blah blah blah. I really am starting to miss the Premier League & seeing the PL meetings on Sky they've been head & shoulders above anything the EL has served
  17. Good luck to all tonight & hope it's a good evening's speedway for all involved & spectating. Will be watching the updates
  18. But it wasn't a certain crash. Vaculik went down to save himself from a potential crash hence why he laid it down first. Because the crash did happen we automatically call it nothing is ever certain. He guessed. In a GP earlier in the season, Iversen was excluded for taking evasive action for what he thought would be a certain incident. All riders should be excluded on the basis of guess work.
  19. I keep changing my mind over the Heat 14 crash. One thing I am certain of it should have been 2 riders excluded. Vaculik went down 1st, alone and should have gone. No question. Ok, he took evasive action but only for a potential crash not for the actual crash. Woffy or Freddie should have also been excluded but I can't make my mind up who. Freddie chucked in a proper dive bomb on turn 3 but I'm not sure that caused the crash. Not one T.V. angle gives clear evidence of contact. Another thing is for certain, Woffy collected Pedersen but the cause is inconclusive so for that reason I'd of excluded Woffy. But like I said, tomorrow I'll probably say it was Freddie's fault
  20. Looking at the pictures they're using different material than usual. It looks much much paler than previous year's. Why mess and change thing's that ain't broken? I'm doubley gutted as it's the first time in 6 years to be at the Cardiff GP
  21. Leigh Lanham FFS, I mean, how is British Speedway supposed to move forward with a selection like that??? Building possible future riders is what this should be about. Someone like Lewis Kerr should be included IMO
