  1. Kind of correct. Peterborough supplied the air fence and the staff to erect and dismantle it. Track staff and equipment was as normal at the NA
  2. The hatred of Nigel and Kelv has gone on for years and it's pathetic. They actually do a great job, well I suppose it's did a great job for speedway on Sky now it's all over. They do annoy me at times but that annoyance is no different to some of the football, cricket, F1 commentator's. I'm probably just 1 of a very few but I hope Sky don't renew the speedway contract. Perfect opportunity to strip the sport back and start again. This could be a major step forward to saving speedway's future in the UK.
  3. And to think we've got to watch that in next years GP's. I thought it would be impossible to have anyone else worse than Dryml in the series
  4. Correct, no other word could have been used to describe the efforts of the Brummies.
  5. The meeting is shocking to watch and can't be assed watching the presentation so England v Poland it is
  6. And there's the problem. Frost and Ford CAN afford to pay the demands of the rider's and we're back to square one. For British speedway as a whole they have to be left out
  7. I have to say, regardless the NL will be just like the Elite and Premier Leagues. Fully competitive and all wanting to win. There are far too many stand alone clubs at NL level to be just a development league. Those clubs want to win and that was shown by the large traveling Dudley fans. Only from a Coventry and King's Lynn perspective can this league be seen as development
  8. I worry we won't even get close and like last night's playoff this could be all over tonight. So hope there's something to race for tomorrow. COME ON YOUNG STARS!!!!!
  9. How easy was that. The most underwhelming Elite League playoff final for some some time Congratulations Poole
  10. The crowd could be a bit sparse at Perry Barr if this continues or just full of Pirates
  11. The problem is, admission costs will only go 1 way. We'll never see them go down. Even if you remove all the No'1s at the current prices there will be clubs still struggling to make any profit
  12. I was about to mention that, very very strange. Certainly taints Adrian's victory a little IMO
  13. It's been a few weeks since the last meeting for the 1st team and I am actually missing it already. I now can't wait for 2014, just wishing the months away for March. Regardless of the structure of the league/s I think it's important the team is structured around Schlein and Korneliussen. The promotion are desperate to include Lambert in the team but I do worry the rules and rule makers may have something to say about that as he doesn't turn 16 until 5th April. Next month we'll know more after the AGM. I would like to see Kerr as a D/U with the return of Porsing also. Hopefully the league structure will allow for Iversen. 1, Iversen 2, Porsing 3, Korneliussen 4, 5, Schlein 6, Kerr D/U 7, Lambert
  14. Seeing as some others have admitted to it, I also became emotional when his mum gave him a big hug. I'm sure he was feeling it too hence why he left his Crash Hat on to hide the emotion as he still at the end of that had a meeting to run. The kid was absolutely incredible all season and put his body on the line. I'd have to say, which may upset a few he is the best natural talented British World Champion since Michael Lee. The difference is, he won't destroy his fledgling career and go off the rails. Tai Woffinden is the 2013 Speedway World Champion and deserved.
  15. I've just googled it and know the answer but I can't be assed to tell ya
  16. I will send my apologies to the few decent Poole fans but all have gone on ignore because of the arrogance of a couple. My head just can't take anymore garbage. Good luck to both teams and may the best team win over the course of 2 legs and fingers crossed for 2 stunning meetings that us neutrals can really enjoy.
  17. The engine room of Knight & Mallett is massive for us. 6-7 each from them might see us have a chance
  18. Think we would have smashed Mildly out the park even without Josh's crash and boy what a crash it was. How the fooking hell did he manage to try and continue reading is beyond me. It was horrendous. You're right about the racing being strung out but still enjoyed it. Will be different next week though. Halsey's move on Kerr went beyond hard riding to just down right dangerous. Assuming the who-ha in the pits was off the back of that.
  19. If they go through with the threat this time I think it would stick. Polish League speedway is the biggest pay packet in the sport and no GP rider in their right mind wouldn't & probably couldn't afford to not ride Poland
  20. As I've said previously, Lambert doesn't need British speedway. It's been a pleasure watching him throw some laps in.
