  1. Is it 16th December??? Is Davey Watt still a Poole asset???
  2. Looking at some Tweets and translating them it seems we left him out not Swindon having him back. Porsing asked why, Mads responds "you need to ask them!?" I understand the feeling regarding Mads being left out but lets face truths here. It's about the team. As a comparison it has to be Schlein over Mads, and if we have the chance to get King Kenny in then sh!itz me letting Mads go is the right thing to do. No King Kenny then it's a mistake.
  3. And there lies the issue. "Hey Kidda, I'll give ya £2000 to take a month off. You can go to my doctor's, I've made him aware you might be calling."
  4. Nothing as long as it's in the teams 1-5. Not on the draft list, will not be at reserve. An amendment is required by the SCB as it's ridiculous to hear promoters talking about replacing their picks and we're not even into 2014 yet. I think these lads should be locked in until August. Yes I'm aware that is at the most important points of the season but it's about giving the initial picks a run. Not just 3-4 meetings and then they're sacked.
  5. I will be great to get Lambert signed up just so he becomes an asset but, IMO I'm still to be convinced he's good enough to come and play with the big boys.
  6. That might be pushing it a bit to far being a No'1. The structure of the league looks as though a powerful top 3 is required with suitable 2nd strings that can turn over the Brit reserves. I think he's a No'5 but certainly not strong enough just yet as a No'1.
  7. Doyle has said on Twitter yesterday he's looking for a new EL club, so won't be returning to Swindon.
  8. Do you know what, l love the look of that team. I've always wanted to see Simon Gustafsson at King's Lynn but that's probably due to his old man being such a legend l want to see him be just as good around the NA. That's probably a good reason Simon would refuse to sign for us as he'll always be compared and that is a little unfair but there would be nothing better than seeing the Henka legacy live on (He was Mr Entertainment). Doyley would be an awesome addition to the team, 100% every race even when behind and commitment is what we need at home as it's such an easy place for away rider's to come. Maybe the team last year settled for minor places rather than pushing for better positions. After all that that though, I can't see Doyley being anywhere else than Poole.
  9. I hate the P'boro Panthers with a passion and some of the fans are well aware of those feelings One thing is for certain I don't hate the supporters and no I don't want the club to close because I love the abuse, giving and taking. These fans don't deserve losing their speedway. These are real people, with real passion and the one's feeling the hurt are the supporters that did turn up most weeks. P'boro are an EL club and this thread rightly, should remain in the EL section right the way up to March 1st unless something is sorted before hand. I get banter but there is real spite going on, like WTF. If people don't want this thread in the EL section, why the f.i.h are you reading and posting on it?????? I'm amazed some Cat fans have remained so calm because I know I wouldn't be able to if it happened to King's Lynn. It's probably embarrassing for the P'boro fans having a Starts fan stick up for them so I'll leave it there
  10. I'm a bit worried about TNT to be honest. An awful lot of his post recently seem like he's started the Christmas drinks early. He's just not with it.
  11. I'm so pleased with that, having Rose & Kerr as our reserves. Will be interesting as it has now been suggested we may only have 31 points to choose the top 5 for being allowed a strong reserve pairing. Suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
  12. Now this systems in, hopefully the BSPA will run with it and not be a one hit wonder. If so I should imagine riders that don't gain PL spots in 2014 will remain on the draft list for 2015
  13. Now I see where you've gone wrong. The protected assets are only available from the top 10 riders Which Rose isn't. All the riders not protected have to ride where picked. A number of the riders on the list are assets of other clubs. NL clubs too
  14. 1 licence for what? Boston ran from King's Lynn under a different promotion. Dudley run out of Wolves under a different promotion (I think). With the right person this could be done and Frost has no say, I'm quite sure the BSPA couldn't really care less about Frost's opinion anyway.
  15. For Peterborough Panthers yes, but surely a new promoter could come in under a new club name as Frost has no say of stadium use?
  16. Middlo is either a cradle snatcher or Howarth likes um old either way it would make sense why he's left
  17. This may have been asked but what is to stop a new promoter running a team at the showground without buying anything of Frost. Surely all that's required is a promoters licence Rent the track from the showground owners Purchase your own air fence Sign all riders as loanee's (as the assets will be under Frost) Call the club "Peterborough British Short Hair Cats", "Posh Panthers", "Cambridgeshire Colts" etc That has to be cheaper than buying the club as I'm sure Frost wouldn't sell on the cheap with the rider's he has as assets???
  18. Lewis Rose 100% is a King's Lynn asset. Baggy is right that NL clubs have assets that is the reason we went NL, to produce our own. What makes you think Rose isn't a King's Lynn rider??? Josh Bailey signed as a full club asset last season. Never riden PL/EL Lewis Kerr is a full club asset and that was before riding PL/EL. Explain yourselves!?!?!?!?!
  19. This may already have been answered but if we let Kerr and Rose ride elsewhere can we claim a loan fee for that????
  20. It looks as though some good news maybe coming soon. Rory Schlein was at the Kings Lynn football today. That must surely mean that he's staying with us.
  21. I thought the same so I checked last years rule book and it does state that all commonwealth and American riders come into the EL on a 3 average and PL on a 5
  22. Yep, no argument from me on that one. Only concern from King's Lynn's point of view is they may lose Lambert as an asset if he goes PL and that would be harsh. There is a rule about signing 1 none riding asset a year l believe for EL clubs so maybe we'll go down that route with Robert Lambert
  23. He certainly wouldn't struggle at home, it's away young Lambert would be a concern. Especially on the small tracks as he showed at Monmore last season. Throttle control does seem to be a weakness in his skills.
  24. I didn't say bottom, I said bottom half
  25. It does look as though Belle Vue could track up to 6 Brits for next season and that is incredible. When was the last time that happened???? Unfortunately the set up of the side looks poor to me even with the inclusion of Zagar. Play-offs it won't be. Bottom half of the table for me, apologies BV fans
