  1. I know you're not that type of person but that post comes across as very arrogant. I think the rest of Europe should just say to Poland, If you don't use the new silencer then all Polish riders will be banned from all racing outside of Poland. Polish speedway isn't the be all and end all of speedway. It would & will carry on without.
  2. Pick a winner Jason Crump Pick a favourite Emil Sayfutdinov
  3. It is. It says so on the Speedway Star website. Poor signing
  4. Part Role For Bjerre Monday, 31 January 2011 12:47 Danish Grand Prix rider Kenneth Bjerre is not planning on racing a full season for Lejonen in the Swedish Elitserien this season. Bjerre's commitments in the Grand Prix Series along with riding in Britain with King's Lynn, Poland with Wroclaw and Denmark with Grindsted will keep the Dane busy enough not to need a full season in Sweden. Speaking to SpeedwayGP he said: “I’ll just do the meetings I want to do. I don’t really need Sweden, but if I’ve got a gap in the fixtures, I’ll do it. I don’t want more meetings really. I’ll only do the ones I want to do and that’s how it will be. I don’t see it as a problem.”
  5. Well, interesting who our heatleader will be now. Lambert is at Stoke & Roynon is at Dudley. I have a feeling James Brundle is in for a return. He'll want to prove a point this year with us being EL I feel.
  6. There isn't any stock car issues that I'm aware of. King's Lynn run under Track Star Racing and Mildenhall runs under RDC Promotions if I'm not mistaken. There is no conflict of interests so I'm not sure what you're trying to say at all???
  7. Times are changing in speedway as a whole. The biggest complaint from promoters which started in the early 90's was the fact that young British riders lacked commitment to the sport. Once they'd reached late teens early 20's it was all about living the high life, drinking and chasing birds. Unfortunately, that still exists with our young guys. They start off hungry and full of flair then flop. A good recent example of that would be Lewis Bridger. This kid should be pushing a heatleader spots now but constantly plays the big time Charlie game. Also Ben Barker is of similar ilk. The thing is, I believe the Aussies are know going down this route also. You only have to see what Darcy Ward & Chris Holder get up to publicly and these to are seen as the guys to take over from Adams & Crump. If they carry on they've no hope of that at all. The super fit and super fast Poles are the ones to watch now, followed by the Danes then the Swedes. These guys are fully focused on the game. Kitted out with full on sponsorships and work extremely hard to try and get what they want. I do not care what people say, the British riders ARE NOT focused and hungry and don't carry the same professionalism of our European counterparts. That's why they get overlooked. Our boys simply have to work twice as hard to get noticed these days
  8. I don't think Roynon would be allowed as he's our No'8 for the EL side. Should think Kerr, Knight, Lowe & Mallett are certs for the team. I think they will go with Lambert as No'1
  9. Has Radio Fremantle given up on speedway coverage this year. It was brilliant to listen to speedway on the radio???????
  10. Is he packing up on his future with the road bikes then Dave. When he was over here last he said his sponsors would allow him to compete in full time speedway????
  11. I think a second GP round could work. The perfect place for it in my opinion would be Hampden Park Scotland. Although there is only Glasgow & Edinburgh I'm sure there would be a great number of locals there plus the travelling fans from Northern clubs like Newcastle, Redcar, Workington, Berwick maybe Belle Vue. Make it cheap for the first season, get the locals in and take it from there.
  12. Don't agree with that. I think it's gone to £10 because they know they'll get more in this year with the alternate race weeks between the EL & NL. I will even bother this season. Have to have the weekly fix I'd be intrigued to know if they'll knock up some season tickets to include both leagues
  13. We were £8 last season for NL meetings
  14. can you bloody believe it. Come tomorrow we'll find that we're in the EL and not only have Ipswich gone PL but now Peterborough have agreed to go PL. WTF
  15. If you don't mind paying the extra £8 a week for me to attend then I'll be there
  16. I'd say quite likely. It's in the best interests of the club to try and develop young British riders. Although I don't attend these meetings it massively important the 3rd tier of speedway.
  17. Nope, we'll be back for 2012 don't you worry. We're just a BSPA play thing for 2011.
  18. Buster said the same thing so you just never know. One thing for sure is that TT can still do a job in that league.
  19. I have started an King's Lynn 2011 EL thread to get the ball rolling. As far as I'm concerned with both our promotion & the BSPA releasing statements both Monday @ 12pm and the fact our promotion hasn't denied any of the speculation when they could of yesterday it is quite clearly a done deal. So, I'll see you all in the EL section
  20. It certainly looks that we are Elite League now. So, we're now going to be the BSPA's scapegoat and EL whipping boys so they can hang on to the Sky money. Brilliant
  21. Me too. A guaranteed 7 points a season against that pile of cack
  22. That numpty happened to be Coventry's press officer
  23. It isn't obvious at all. The radio interview stats that we're going EL regardless whether Peterborough & Coventry are in or out of the EL
  24. You miss understand Peterborough = EL King's Lynn = PL King's Lynn reserves = NL All at the Norfolk Arena The BSPA run Peterborough & use the Norfolk Arena as the venue because it works out cheaper in rental costs for all party's. It wouldn't be at the showground because Frost holds the rental agreement but would be suspended by the BSPA.
  25. The Council fronted up around £130k for the development itself.
