I honestly do now like the joker although I'd call it something else. In reality it can only give a team an extra 3 points for a win but it's much much more than that. Take what happened to Poland after Gollob went out and smashed it. It gives riders a lift, inspires the team to go on and turn the meeting around. A genuine buzz comes in. It's all a mental thing but it works. Had Gollob won the race under normal circumstances Australia could have gone on to win the meeting with ease but that little 'pick me up' Joker ride from Gollob made all the difference. It made a difference to me too, we certainly wouldn't of had all that excitement right up to heat 24 that's for sure without it.

Can't argue with that but you should always go with the strongest team available and Bridger isn't even in the top 10 of choices

6 from 9 wasn't great considering his first race finished with 2 riders. His second ride picked up a point because Lukas fell & was excluded from the re-run and in his last gets a win because the Pole Kolodziej couldn't be bothered and Darkin retired. So all in all the easiest 6 out of 9 he'll ever get.

long night here tonight. Exclusions, slide offs & crashes. Riders struggling to turn their bikes as the track os way way way to grippy for this level of racing. Very fortunate to not have serious injuries at thru moment. We're only on heat 4

Overall I think TeamGB rode pretty well just throwing vital points away & poor team management in the first half of the meeting. If's & buts I know but we could have been much closer to the Poles in the end. On to Thursday it looks to be no Scott so what will we look like 1, Harris 2, Kennett 3, Woffinden 4, Barker / Stead / King / Allen 5, Bridger For the 4th spot I'd rather see Stead or King but will Middlo stay faithful to Barker?????

Me personally couldn't care less who is in the opposition line-ups. It's all about TeamGB for me and seeing them give maximum effort to the cause (hopefully). It was a great atmosphere last year and I hope all that turns up give the same if not more to our boys. The only disappointment for me is Olly Allen didn't get the call over Ben Barker but still behind them all 100%.

Bloody Poles, it's always the Poles. Poles this Poles that blah, blah, blah. Why do some people go to Cardiff Pretty much all around the stadium people stand up towards the end of a race. Not just the Poles. The Poles are just out to enjoy themselves & the meeting. The problem most times comes from the Brits, without doubt seem to have a problem with foreigners having fun. Get over yourselves FFS
