  1. It will only be a UK ban and as far as I'm aware the 8 day rule only applies as an away rider.
  2. This is how it works and it would be in Poole's favour too. Holder is in the declared line up Holder refuses to ride Holder receives 21 day ban Guests are now allowed Gives significant time for Darcy to rest Reintroduce Darcy once Holder's 21 days are up Job done If Holder was to ride there would be a significant risk in running with Holder and his average drops and others increase taking the team over the 32 ave limit. As a safe guard for later in the season Poole would benefit now with a ban on Holder and using guests for 21 days.
  3. This could be a tough one for the Stars Iversen & Bjerre will surely be suffering jet lag, Robert Lambert comes into this cold & all of the Lakeside team pretty much up to speed already with 4 team meetings under their belts. Saying all that, can't wait to get our season started COME ON THE STARS
  4. Was Smolinski's performance that much of a surprise? Not for me after his Best Pairs riding. Showed then he's gonna mix it
  5. how can you even suggest Darcy had any blame in that
  6. and your point is Mr spelling and grammar detective?
  7. Maybe the comments are taken out of context, maybe they're not. Either way they are not great reading. Does come across big headed. Just like Micheal Lee, the BSPA could make life very awkward for him and it doesn't sound like the German authorities want him kicking around their National squad either. At such a young age The talking should be done on track on a regular basis not from the mouth. If he knock in double figures week in week out then he can have his say. Good luck to the kid and all top rider's need that edge of arrogance, it's how you demonstrate it that's important. He got this slightly wrong, all part of the learning curve.
  8. If Klindt hadn't of been a bottler and the result was the other way round you wouldn't of heard any of that. Everyone would be jumping for joy just like the Coventry fans and riders. Not hearing them complaining. All to be taken with a pinch of salt. Swindon lost, Coventry won end of
  9. So, the average is a more accurate picture to the viewing numbers. The Best Pairs over ran on it's schedule so half the viewing numbers could have been people tuning in for the next programme for example.
  10. How can anyone feel sorry for Phillips? He put this side together along with Dury. As soon as it was announced the World & it's wife said it was an absolute abysmal team. I believe Birmingham only held it together last season because of Phil Morris's enthusiasm for the sport. As harsh as it sounds, the Birmingham management only have themselves to blame. Clueless is the only word to describe the way they're running the club. The only people to feel sorry for are the fans
  11. Yes, but do they all have THE same list?
  12. What??? Do you mean Coventry or Peterborough hence why is the question asked here
  13. FFS people, reality check time. It doesn't seem to matter who the commentators are for our sport you lot can't help yourselves but moan about it. Considering Jack Burnicle isn't a speedway man and thrown into the deep end by Eurosport he did a bloody good job. Best Pairs, SEC, SGP, SWC, British Elite League, Swedish Elitserien are all on UK screens this season. Couldn't give 2 sh!ytes who the commentators are, we have speedway on the box. This is what we've wanted for many of years yet you're still not happy. Jeez
  14. If that is it, that is truly amazing news Phil. Borowicz was out cold as Kolo had nowhere to go but hit him
  15. Just seen on a YouTube clip Janusz Kolodziej and Mateusz Borowicz involved in a horrendous crash tonight Tarnow v Leszno and can't find anywhere if these guys are ok. Hoping for the best for these guys and hope our Polish friends can keep us up to date
  16. Don't be frightened by whats happening here, embrace it. This could only have an up sell to your business as more people get to see the events. This could also mean more DVD sales not less. Bare in mind that also, betting sites are adult only and I should imagine most DVD sales would be for younger eyes to view. If you fear for your DVD sales then I would be concerned that you don't believe in your production qualities enough. Pretty much free advertising, give it a big cuddle.
  17. In your opinion I just Googled 'F1 drivers with tattoos' in images. Come back to me once you've had a look
  18. First and foremost this has to be an horrendous feeling for Bees fans. I genuinely feel your pain. Good luck guys
  19. Suggestion for Horton. Let the stadium curator do his job as normal and on race day rock up with his own tractor and track staff and follow him round. You have to find a solution to looking after your own business.
  20. So, in all that it must have been Horton that gave the BSPA assurance that the track will be fine. The stadium owners would not be in contact with the BSPA. This does now come back to a Coventry promoters error. Blaming stadium owners does not stand up for me. If Horton is serious for speedway to continue then a renegotiated lease with providing his own track team is the only way forward here or just close the doors now. The stadium owners just are not going to blow money weekly on correct track prep, why should they?
  21. The Storm meeting a shambles, today a complete shambles and now Horton stating no Coventry team will take to the track until the owners fix the situation. Conspiracy theorists are gonna have a field day. It certainly does read = Coventry Closed to me. Can't see the stadium owners spending money they feel they don't have to
