  1. They have a point. Not every interview has to be Woffy
  2. "In sensational news Phillips & Birmingham have decided to let the under performing Adam Skornicki go to bring in future GP star Nicolai Klindt. When asked Phillips described the move as a step in the right direction to bring the costs down & believes someone of the quality of Klindt would bring the crowds back in. Phillips says Birmingham will have never seen anyone of this quality before and not even Dury or Morris could have pulled this move off."
  3. NL fixture takes priority over guest bookings. It's the same for any rider that you can't cover a guest booking when your own team are riding.
  4. Personally, I don't think riders should block people because they've been critical. Lewis Kerr didn't like a comment I'd made about him on here so he DM'd me on Twitter. A couple of messages later things were sorted. I have massive respect for him now, even more than before. He wasn't nasty, blocked me or anything. He dealt with my idiocy very well. There is an awful lot of positively that can be learnt from negativity and the reason Harris struggles to improve is because he's a closed shop to himself. Constant plaudits makes you become very lazy & blinkered. Everyone needs to be knocked down a peg or 2 in their life. It's how you recover and prove people wrong that counts from there on in.
  5. Just don't feel like celebrating that result at all. This Brummie's team would struggle against Cradley they're so bad. It was, barring injury a gimmie. Our boys turned up and did their job very well but now to concentrate on next Wednesday v Wolves Really hope the Birmingham promotion wake up and smell the coffee very soon. The fans don't need it and neither does the rest of the league.
  6. Has to be 4 points or an enquiry will have to be called
  7. Some of us watched it on Bet365 and is very clear on an awful race track you're talking #BullCrap Shovvy
  8. He's 31and now in his 16th season as a rider. If he hasn't learnt already, he never will. Premier League next season
  9. I'm quite astonished that a couple of Swindon fans are calling us a win at all costs club / fans. That is laughable to be fair. No other club or fans have had any issues at all and that says far more to me. I think we're a pretty level headed bunch of fans Here's the thing though. When the rankings of the draft riders were introduced I think what we got was very very fair to the rest of the league and that's why they agreed to it Lewis Kerr topped the list of 23. Lewis Rose was 20th on the list of 23 riders. Seeing as the are 10 teams we got the best and worst from the top 20 so what really is the problem?????
  10. It was another good crowd but right up to 7.40 the place was dead. These people are starting to p!$$ me off. They know it's a 7.45 tapes up, if they're late tough. I really don't get why people need to turn up so late. No other sport waits for tricklers to get in
  11. Track was to grippy to start with. These modern day riders hey, bloody wusses Buster can save some money and order 2-3 tonne less next time. The racing definitely improved 2nd half of the meeting and I actually feel I watch a different meeting to most. The was a couple of strung out races and almost all heat winners were FTG but there were some bloody close battles for 2nd-3rd and 3rd-4th placed riders. I don't know what it is but most fans seem to judge a meeting on purely heat winner's, speedway is much more than that. I really enjoyed tonight
  12. Let's hope that Newman is just battered up a little. He's had some good momentum this season so far and it needs to continue for him personally. Losing Newman will certainly end any chances of Poole even making the top 4, let alone win the League and this is one down point to the draft system. No like for like changes
  13. As much as I detest Dury, and I really detest Dury the club is now in full control of relatively inexperienced people. That has to be a slight concern. Fingers crossed for you Brummie, surely time will come when some real good news comes soon
  14. If he can continue scoring 4-5 at home and the team still keep winning I wouldn't bet against it
  15. The Brummie's have gone quiet after these first couple of meetings for them. Would be nice to hear your opinions guys on what's going on?? Although hypothetically it would be great to see the Stars win it would be a sad sight genuinely to see us batter you buy 60+. We must have all teams competitive and Brum right now would get near a mid table Premier League team. Probably Cradley would give them a run on current form, that's how bad it looks from the outsider's looking in. I feel really bad for the fans
  16. Let's be fair to Poole here, if Smart is scoring anything less than 3 at home he would have to go. Same with any teams home meetings. Yes it's a development draft system but having a rider continue all season scoring nothing will not do them any good at all let alone the club. No way should the draft riders be protected to their team places, they have to ride hard and fight for that team spot
  17. Rubbish, Iversen wasn't even heard on him at all. Proctor put himself in a position a more experienced rider wouldn't have been. We had seen rider's all night go up to the fence yet anyone following tried the cutback yet Proctor wanted a gap that wasn't there. Surely we're not expecting rider just to move out the way are we?
  18. Look at all the standard of rider's in those No'5 positions for most teams, they're not "Chris Harris standard". Chris Harris is "supposedly" a GP rider FFS.
  19. Still sticking with my "Chris Harris for Premier League 2015" call. Embarrassing & on current form Rossco should have the balls and tell him "if this continues he's out of team GB". Graveyard No'5 position or not, he's taking the p!$$ right now. He even blamed crap equipment for his performance in Poland at the weekend. Sorry, but this bloke is tapped regards to his ability.
  20. Problem is though mate, if Adams goes so does Woffy. Just a little bit of justice in taking a point but could have been so so much better but for a pathetic exclusion
  21. Proctor just bailed as he got in a position he couldn't deal with. Iversen just showed his experience without any contract at all
  22. The exclusion of Iversen on Proctor was an absolute joke of a refereeing decision
  23. I think joke is a bit harsh but I have no intention of watching them at all this year, just nothing to look forward to in terms of development. With the Young Stars being our 'reserve' team it should be about finding riders for the future just like what Scunny are doing with the help from Matt Ford / Poole. I'm concerned that we've allowed Ford to move one step ahead yet again. I should imagine that Scunny have set up the way that have down to Ford's investment as he'll be looking for future rider. Stags - Scorps - Pirates. Always one step ahead of the game and this is what King's Lynn / Buster should be doing. National League = look to the future - not the past
