  1. Jesus, I've upset some tonight. You trying to get some action too
  2. That last sentence has to be the biggest concern. There is a genuine fear of another Brummies track closure after all the hard fight to bring it back. It's not just down to a poor side as the attendances wasn't hot when top of the table last season. What It's the issues? Is there an answer to turn this around?
  3. Can I get you a pint for that at least, don't like taking freebies
  4. Appreciate you pointing out my floors. I'll send my posts to you first to proof read if that's ok?
  5. Because there's nothing to apologise for but thanks for asking
  6. There was a few random things happen tonight. King's exclusion, a few jump starts allowed to continue. Then Starke jumps start and ballsed himself up and the ref brought it back.
  7. Jesus, what an over reaction. Maybe the meeting should have been abandoned as clearly the rider's ain't bothered either dear oh dear
  8. Yep and they're dragging this out to go past 10pm to take the win Edit: or not
  9. I think we're at the point now where we need to swap Lambert & Porsing around. Lambert has better protection from Iversen winning races and Porsing the better gater to maybe cover a poor Schlein
  10. Swindon threw that away rather than a Stars turnaround. 6 up after 9 Swindon had enough to look after the lead. Batchelor after 2 wins failed to score against Porsing who he should be beating comfortably. Kildermand fell in heat 13 which would have been a 4-2 at worst rather than 5-1 then an unfortunate EF from Worrall in 14 In the 2nd half of the meeting it was the Swindon heatleaders that failed the side. The 4 point swing from Batchelor and Kildermand would have seen Swindon take 3 points. It's ok criticising Henka's little soldier but his performance was matched by Schlein and Lambert so was counteracted as such. For me, the turnaround firmly points the finger at Swindon's 1 & 5
  11. The Norfolk Arena is a track that gives the most under performing an opportunity to shine.
  12. Yep. I tell ya, the Buster Chapman storys are endless.
  13. Reasonable guests to me. Won't be 30-60 like last time but should be good enough to take a point minimum
  14. Kildermand round the NA is seriously entertaining. Frightening at times but you can't take your eyes off him when he misses the gate.
  15. The tales of Buster Chapman are endless but my favourite was when he once charged up to the referees box ranting and raving. You could see the box shaking then proceeded to climb round the front and clean the windows still ranting after a rider was excluded. One I didn't see but plenty regularly still talk about was he laid down at the start gates and refused to move until a rider was put back in the race.
  16. Just going through the fixtures and it's an absolute headache to be fair. Brum a Wednesday track and available date restrictions plus Iversen, Bjerre, Porsing and Lambert racing Denmark on Wednesdays hence we have a load of Thursday fixtures. A good few Friday's scrapped due to GP practice. Also fixtures put together to try not to damage the 2 Lewis's fixtures to much with Newcastle. There's a 2 week break for the speedway World Cup. I think the Football World Cup has been taken into consideration also with the only potential clash with an England fixture is Saturday 5th July away to Eastbourne It actually does look as though this Thursday was our best date for this fixture
  17. I won't be critical of Birmingham for not calling this one off. The Brummie's are struggling badly with a few glimpses of hope over the last couple of weeks. With us severely depleted is a great opportunity for the Brummie's and good luck to them. When we were in the EL in our previous years swimming around the bottom of the league we were very grateful to see an even worse team arrive just to get a result. Right now this is were Birmingham are and if & when we're back in that situation I hope we'd do the same. This isn't Birmingham's problem, we'll just have to deal with the hand we're given and hope the guests put in a shift.
  18. nah, most people in Norfolk don't have electric let alone Sky so I cant see a problem with the attendance
  19. No chance, we don't need reduced prices to bribe us out to support out team. Real Fans
  20. I just have a feeling Swindon will nick this one. Man for man I think we are a better side but the last 2 home meetings we've struggled badly early on in the meetings and against Swindon we can't afford to do that. Stating the obvious but we can't afford to be carrying any passengers to get a winning result. 43-47
