I don't think Rickardsson is a good comparison. Hugh point scorer but he was absolutely sensational racer when he missed a start. He simply has been the best of the best of all time IMO. Rickardsson had the lot and nobody but nobody comes close today

Don't want to get into a Niels v Darcy argument because, quite frankly there isn't one. This is how it is:- Darcy Ward IS the better racer - Niels Kristian Iversen IS the better point scorer - all square as rider's. On to the meeting, certainly hopeful of an away victory to be honest. We're better than Coventry and Poole are weaker without Janowski but last week could have been just one of those night's for Poole. Hopefully Niels is feeling better, exhaustion starting to get the better of him hence his withdrawal from the best pairs 41-49 & all 4 points in the bag, anything less than a draw will be disappointing

Guests from the EL for Robert are gonna be tough and will have to wait for the new 1st June edition of the averages. From the PL it's Stuart Robson, Kevin Doolan, Kevin Wolbert or Nicolai Klindt for me Bjerre is missing for our trip to Leicester due to GP qualifier at Berwick and Lambert is also missing due World Team u21's on the same day. Absolutely & that is why a lot of us Stars fans are not getting carried away with it,, well, some of us anyway. Most of the people saying we'll walk it have been the supporters of other clubs. We know our history & I'm expecting this run to continue, hence why I'll be celebrating every meeting win as & when they come, sit back and enjoy the racing.

So that should work both ways then, those that don't run NL side's can't complain about clubs wishing to use their own rider's as draft picks. Ok, some can't run their own NL team, that's fair enough. But they're still sitting on their hands whereas Poole moved quickly to set up an association with Scunthorpe. Why have no others copied? Probably because they can't be bothered. I think Iversen is a couple of weeks away from burn out. Before the meeting had even started he looked dead on his feet in the pits tonight, Woffy still off colour and after his 1st 2 rides Schlein just disappeared. Kerr (My rider of the night) Lambert and Porsing were the match winners

Our win against Lakeside thanks to the T/R didn't remain dull which it would have done without it. Same for Coventry and to an extent also Brum v Eastie last night where Eastbourne's T/R's kept the meeting alive right up to heat 15 It's one of the best rules in speedway. The only stupid part is the home teams using it.
