Come on Trees. There should be no alcohol regardless in any motorsport. Regardless of the news, Darcy had 3 choices. Pull out and get wasted. Don't drink and ride and deal with it after. Or drink and ride and place fellow competitors at risk. He chose the latter and should as Scott Nicholls has said be suspended from competitive racing for the remainder of the season. No excuses and zero tolerance must be taken.

Midlo should be suspended by the BSPA for advocating Darcy's behaviour. It's not the 1st time and would also class that man a danger to British Speedway. He's a big drinker himself and clearly sees no problem as long as there's an excuse. BSPA, sort your members out

Sounds like that will be the line of his defence. The FIM will not listen to that as an excuse. Their response will be he shouldn't put himself in a position where alcohol is available prior to a competition. They will dish zero tolerance.

2 motoX rider's have been suspended by the FIM for failed drink tests for the remainder of seasons. And to be reviewed for the following year. They take an absolute zero tolerance to failed tests regardless of how big a name someone is within the sport. This will not be the end of the matter with the FIM.

Not with to regards of testing in league racing. The BSPA can make that request. It is now down to the FIM to suspend Darcy from racing for failing this test though.

Things could get interesting. We are level on racing meeting's with the fixers and they lay 10 points behind. If they were to pick up a 4 pointer tonight it would see them just sit 6 points behind. With tonight's meeting there are 9 meeting's remaining and it is critical we get the win and all 3 points tonight. If they win I just feel that may be enough to give them fixers enough to push on an steal top spot then move on to play-off winners. Forget the Compton situation, Poole really have ramped it up in recent weeks. Squeaky bum time for us Stars fans, we really really need this win badly tonight.

I am obviously 1 of very few but I thought that was an enjoyable meeting but all thoughts right now go to Matthew Wethers. Left me breathless. I actually couldn't believe it andmI'm sure others had fears of the outcome. And also a speedy recovery to young Aaron Fox too.

If Poole are on Sky I'd like to see and hear a load of fans congregate round Pearson & Tatum's commentary box with banners and sing load and proud of the displeasure. Getting heard to the masses through TV would be the only way to get a response and wake people up, would it not???? Clearly, this would only work when Poole are away from home

I think every Pirate should be roundly booed Thursday night regardless. It doesn't matter if they'd brought in Benji Compton or Chris Holder. I think the comments are more based on the fact of Harris getting the Cardiff wildcard last year, then because he qualified for the GP's this year it went back to the British Final again. He does, for some strange reason seem to be a favourite with the BSI.

I don't have issues with rule changes through the season as they're sometimes required but this does look like it was done just for Poole and that is people's issue. Not is it just the rule change, it's the fact Compton slipped 5 places into 25th spot. That just isn't acceptable.

Absolutely, King's Lynn do the same for re-arranged fixtures. It happens everywhere. I don't even bother with programmes at all now. I just use Speedway Updates
