Poole Vs The Aces For The Title
Daniel Smith replied to Crazy robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
As they should. I have no problem with booing at all. Part of the game for me but the reaction to it hasn't been the same as when your fans do it. It's like a blind eye has been turned As to the meeting though, Nigel Pearson tonight has had been well and truly justified in using his wooooooooooow!!! It's been absolutely terrific. -
Poole Vs The Aces For The Title

Can't believe how little criticism of the Aces fans there's been on here & Twitter The other way round and this thread would have added at least 10 pages -
See Coventry fans are still chewing wasps. Seriously!!!!!
-
obviously not been on many of your own clubs threads much. Horton / Watson are always pedaling bullrubbish with Coventry's own fans on the attack against them all the time. I don't like Poole much like most because of their past but boy have Coventry fans gone waaaaaaaaay over the top over the Dakota situation. We've had you come out with some fantasist "investigation" over the North family which quite frankly, is embarrassing. Seriously, I just don't get why every thread has to end up bitter and twisted and occasionally quite nasty. It really is time to move on and look forward to 2016. Coventry fans, you really have bigger things to worry about. You could be homeless in the very near future and none of us want that. That should really be your main and probably only concern. Good luck with that and hope a huge part of British Speedway's history doesn't disappear.

Who gives a monkey's about a riders repair bills? Certainly not us paying publics problem. Cheering you team on in sport is part of the game. There certainly isn't enough of it in uk speedway. In Poles go mental when a rider goes down and their atmosphere is described as the best in speedway. A few 10's in British Speedway do it and they're a disgrace I think some people need to get over themselves and chill a little. The facts are, we're all different and like all different things. Cheering a fall does not make anyone moronic, stupid etc just because you don't like it
-
In your opinion
-
I to thought the Poole fans were terrific last night. Just wish every track could be like that every week. You are 100% bang on about cheering, it's all about the advantage not the rider going down. Most of the comments are just bitterness about their clubs own failings
-
The 0 at Coventry has obvious reasoning 3+1 @ Lakeside, many of heatleaders have done similar or worse So is really 1 poor performance at home from his previous 6 Poole matches prior to the playoffs bad form? Not for me
-
Just checked Dakota's last 6 Poole matches prior to the playoff 8+2 @ Leicester 3+1 @ Poole 3+1 @ Lakeside 10+2 paid max @ Poole 8+1 @ Poole 10+2 @ Belle Vue Lakeside is a tricky place to go anyway so his bad form is 1 home meeting, Coventry fans talking b0!!0x to justify their apparent "unjust". Your whinging is getting horrendous. As thecoombdog also says, your trying to deflect the blame away from your own clubs failings.

This thread is hilarious and not in a good way. I don't see the issue with North taking time out, we all react differently to bad news. Having a round of golf with a mate is kind of what mattress should do isn't it rather than turning yourself inside out with worry. I know if a mate was struggling the first thing I'd do is get them out and about. The reaction on here has been nothing but pathetic. If Coventry lose its because their riders haven't stepped up. Poole could have Sayfutdinov as guest but that's irrelevant. It's all about the mentality of the riders you've got. Harris, King & Andersen can beat all of Poole's top 5. Sargent can beat all of Poole's reserves. On a good day Howarth can mix it. Coventry need tomorrow to be a good day. The lose of Garrity is more pivotal than Poole bringing in Kennett. It's fookin Kennett for goodness sake Fingers crossed we actually see a cracking meeting and none of this BS and best wishes to both North and Garrity.

Am hearing that Buster was involved in an accident / collision during the F1 World Finals at the AFA? Any idea as to whether he's ok?
-
We are but in truth it would be a disaster if we lost Iversen. You do need that cool calm & collected no'1. It's not very often a heart on his sleeve rider ever tops the averages. What's required next season is a passionate middle order, that's where we proved to be a little bit too nice in 2015. If we were to be very realistic I think Rob & Buster will already have 4 riders from 2015 signed up. 1. Iversen 2. ??? 3. Lambert 4. ??? 5. Schlein 6. Kerr 7. ??? What we need at 2 & 4 are riders that will fight for their lives and put everything on the line and I don't think you can look past any combination of Aussies. I'd even look at someone like Ben Barker. Nobody has to like them but bloody hell we'll be sure to see 100% every week. That's exactly what we need

Coventry V Poole Elsf 1

Well I enjoyed that tonight. The racing wasn't always top draw stuff but the toing & froing of the scores kept me glued -

Just watch the playoffs for the "racing". Wouldn't dream of nailing myself to another teams colours -

I seem to remember you saying the Belle Vue playoff was a good meeting and now you're saying this was poor?!?! -
Fim Speedway Grand Prix 2015 Game
Daniel Smith replied to ash's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Why not call it SGP16 if that's the year of release? The 2016 line-up will be known by then so the game will already be outdated!!! -
He was talking about ashtree123 who is always on the defence when it comes to the Lambert's
-
Yes, he will just keep getting better if he stays injury free. Has beaten some good riders over the season, just needs to build on his consistency. Wherever he ends up in 2016, someone will have a trip card as a 2nd tier rider
-
Agree about Rory, he'll be a top team manager. Over the last 2 seasons he hasn't been frightened to lay into his under performing team mates, even if he was having a crap one himself I hope his racing days ain't done yet though.
-
Don't you agree that these are the type of rider's the club is missing though? Nobody wins through being nice
-
I know it's over so I've checked the averages and got Doyle Tungate North Fisher Pedersen Kerr Stokes
-
Agree
-
Absolutely the point. Ok, that's not likely to be the team, probably way over the limit but that's the type of riders we need next season. We've been a team that's too nice and too fair and that goes for the management also. We need some nasty barstoods in the team to liven things up. Most of the season rider of the night would be Lambert because he'd be the only one to really lay it on the line and make passing moves while the others struggled. We need more of that and Porsing Bjerre don't offer that. Every team needs 2-3 hard riders that give everything. We got found out when running R/R because having Bjerre & Porsing covering those rides you just never felt confident they could step up. That's worse than the current team for me. Andersen and Lindgren (although performed well as a guest) have been abysmal this season. Andersen = Bjerre. Michelsen I've not been overly impressed by. Iversen Porsing Andersen - Bjerre Michelsen - Lambert Lindgren - Schlein I just don't see an improvement
